Poonam did an amazing job on my bridesmaid dress! I asked her to alter it and gave her the date of the wedding and she was professional, timely, responsive and supportive in making it happen. I recently had a bridesmaid dress altered at the top and hemmed at the bottom. I will start by saying she was a very sweet lady to work with, but my good experience ends there. I was given a date and time slot to pick up my dress and when i told her I was on my way, she rescheduled right away to the next morning saying she sent me a message to tell me and blamed it on bad internet connection. I never got a message. I finally got my dress, drove to Chicago where the wedding is, and then tried it on...which was all my fault but since I had to reschedule the pick up time, I was already on my way out of town and in a rush. Anyways, the dress was horrible. It didn’t fit. She then attempted to “argue” with me about the work via Facebook messenger. The work I was promised was not done. She did eventually refund my money in full, but then quickly blocked me on facebook to avoid having me leave a bad review. Avoid butterfly creations at all costs please!!

I had a flower girl dress altered on short notice and all I can say is WOW! What a wonderful job, and so reasonable in cost! After our previous seamstress contact fell through (talk about freaking out!), and with only 4 days until we left for the out-of-state wedding, she cranked out the alterations to make a custom fit dress for my 5 year old in 48 hours! The work is amazing - she even preserved the original size of the dress so we can let it out in the future if ever needed - though you would never know! Her attention to detail is amazing and she was so great with my daughter. I will definitely be back, and refer all my friends for their custom fitting needs. Well done!

Poonam does AMAZING work!!! Do not hesitate to contact her for alterations. She was wonderful to work with, her prices were extremely reasonable, and she is incredibly skilled. I had a structured bridesmaids jumpsuit that was completely the wrong size and needed to be taken in everywhere. The bust and waist needed to be taken in approximately 4-5 inches, the length needed to be shortened by about 9 inches, and the straps needed to be shortened. To top it all off, the alterations needed to be done VERY quickly. I was so anxious about finding someone who could do the alterations, and I am sooo glad I found Poonam. The jumpsuit turned out beautifully. I will absolutely be contacting her again when I need clothing altered in the future (with much more time to do the alterations). Thank you again Poonam!!
