Great oil changes. Friendly staff

If I could give zero stars, I would.I decided to get my oil changed before I headed out on a 200+ mile road trip. Luckily, I got to where I was going, but then a low oil pressure light came onto my dash so I stopped off the road as soon as I could. When I popped the hood, there was oil splattered all over the engine bay, due to the oil filter not being tightened all the way. I had to drive the car nearly 20 miles before being able to pull over, without oil. After furthering my inspection I realized that the dipstick was bone dry and there was no oil in my engine. In addition, oil was sprayed all the way down my undercarriage and onto my back windshield and trunk. Would not recommend anyone to go here if the workers arent capable of doing something as simple as tightening a filter. Will not be returning.

Yes they were very professional, nice and knew exactly what they was doing. Give them a 20 if i could. Thank you guys i will be back my next change.

It seemed greta when I went. Fast, friendly, and good prices. But I ended up having to take my car to another mechanic a week later because I had an oil leak. They apparently broke the seal so I had to get a new one. So I ended up not saving time or money in the long run.

They make very fast yet very well done work of your vehicle. Nice, knowledgeable people, and give you recommendations of what to watch out for on your vehicle as well as offer to change your windshield wipers. Highly recommend if you find yourself in Sumter.

The first time going somewhere. My husband does it, but health probably he was not able to. They where very nice and explain all to me.

Excellent service. I bring my Mazda CX9 after the dealership in Sumter closed and they always make sure everything is taken care of and the price is really good. They even checked my cabin filter when I mentioned a ticking sound and to my surprise I had a visitor in the filter!

Came here because they always give good service with short wait. Regret the decision and will probably not come back after having to wait an hour and still waiting as I write this. The manager I am assuming comes up after the tech returns from getting a filter instead of notifying me that they had to go to another store to do that. Three cars went through the other bay without hesitation and no one offered to move me to the other bay while we wait on the tech. Not happy with this visit and I will just find a new place. Professionalism and common courtesy goes a long way.

I was heading out of town and wanted a quick, yet thorough oil change. Valvoline employees exceeded my expectations. I was updated on everything they did. My wait time was not long. I was in and out in no time. They informed me on everything they did, and recommended things needed. There was no push to do or purchase anything extra. I will be returning.

I always take my car here for years. They explain things to you they have quick service while you stay in your car. They are very professional and courteous.

Great customer service

I do not recommend this location. I went here last year to get an oil change and I noticed they didnt give me the correct change back. I told him right then and he still didnt give me the right change. I told him he owed me another $5.00 and he finally gave me the correct change after 3 times! It was over $20.00 that he was trying to short change me. During this whole process, another worker was commenting on my tattoo which distracted me. I will never go back to this location. Not a trusting atmosphere there.

Fast service. Didnt even get out of the car. It took about 10 min for an oil change. A bit more expensive than other places. I spent $42 for a conventional oil change .

This place is complete trash I was there for a hour the customer service is awful and they tried to charge me 100$ for a oil change??? It used to be good until they got new staff now I will never return after the last time I went I figured I’d give it one more chance and today was worse than last time.

Purchased my battery here, and wasnt sure how long its been. They checked and honored the warranty with no issues. They took care of it all, and I didnt even have to fix my radio.

Definitely fast, thats what the star is for. Its been about a week and there is a burning smell, popped the hood and the dip stick wasnt in all the way and looked like it had been slammed in the hood, couldnt even get it in without bending it with a pliers. There is WAY to much oil... there is literally oil all over the inside, looks like it was sprayed with a bottle. Never had problems with my vehicle before. Cant say Id recommend this place to anyone.

Quick oil change with piece of mind.Story time: I was in today waiting along side another man who was getting his oil changed in his truck. One of the mechanics came in and explained to the man that the engine cover that was over the oil filter had a small crack in it before it was removed, upon removing the cover to access the oil filter the crack extended. The mechanic contacted Ford (make of truck) and ordered a new cover (approx $80) and explained to the man that he can return on Monday to get the cover replaced at no cost for parts or maintenance.To see this done RIGHT and FAIR to the customer game me a piece of mind that my car is in good hands while it is in the shop. It would have been easier for the mechanic to just shut the hood and never say anything to the customer. He did the right thing and Valvoline gained me as a customer for a long time down the road.

Quick Service good customer service little pricey

Visited this establishment Saturday morning to have my oil changed in 2015 Prius while TDY at Shaw AFB. They pulled the car out of the bay when finished. When I got into my car I noticed they did not reset the maintenance light and observed the check engine light and check hybrid system display on as well. They also put a 3000 mile oil change sticker with a synthetic blend oil change.Pulling off the lot the car began jerking and immediately shut off. After no luck getting the car to start I walked back up to store to talk to manager. All I got was “all we did was change the oil and the nearest Toyota dealer is down the street”. No offer to help whatsoever. The asst manager did ask me to let them know what happened because they have had this happen before with hybrids.The car had to be towed to Toyota and awaiting diagnosis on what occurred. Will update. Warning : Stay away from Valvoline in the future.

Went there for an oil change several months ago, told the guy I wanted just a regular oil change nothing extra.... just like that. Come back to pay and it was over $50. I paid it but will never go back there again, they dont listen and will take advantage of you.They charged me for synthetic oil when i didnt ask for it and did a bunch extra useless things to my car like check tire pressures, air filter, serpentine belt and windshield wiper fluid. Simple stupid stuff I can do at home but they charged me extra for it when I didnt want it to begin with.Go somewhere else where they wont take advantage of you.

DO NOT GO TO THIS VALVOLINE! They stripped the oil pan of my grandmothers car and now they refuse to reimburse her, get her a tow truck or pay for the oil pan they tore up! They will never see our business again and I suggest never coming here! They take no responsibility for there mistakes. Ill update this if anything changes but I doubt it

Changed my Cummins oil in 10 minutes! Very fast friendly and professional service. Been coming here for 5 years and never had a problem!! Wouldnt reccommend any other oil change place in Sumter. Go here!!!!!

Wonderful fast service with highly competent technicians.

Usually go here to get my oil changed. They once didnt screw on the guard under my car when they changed my oil and it fell on the road. Called them to tell them they didnt screw it in right and the guy on the phone said i dont know what to tell you. Touché I suppose.
