Took my truck in for an alignment, when they got done I drove away and the steering wheel was pointed left to go straight. So I took it right back the manager drove it, came back with computer printouts and showed me that everything was straight. I told him I understand that the truck drives straight and the wheels are straight, but the steering wheel was not. He told me it was right their was nothing else they could do, and moved on to the next customer. The next day I took it to Firestone on Shaw AFB and they immediately saw the problem and set up an appointment to fix it. The manager at the Broad St location should know better. They have wasted a tremendous amount of my time for an alignment though I know heavy duty trucks are harder, wrong is wrong and right is right.

We got a flat on i95 at 5pm on a Friday and called all over to find a place that had the right size tire. They had the tires we needed and were willing to stay open until we could get there. Really great customer service and extremely helpful!

If youre having car troubles in Sumter, GO TO TIRE CHOICE! I repeat GO TO TIRE CHOICE! They fixed my car for HALF, YES HALF the price I was quoted at Firestone. Firestone told me to come in on Tuesday at 9 and when I got there, they said I didnt have an appointment. They are so incredibly rude that its unbelievable. I know its hard work and I know its stressful but so many of their customers are stressed too, having car issues is not fun the least you could do is TRY to show empathy and kindness! I cannot shout enough praise for tire choice, please go there. They are polite, professional, and much much much CHEAPER! I will NEVER go to Firestone again and will commit my life to turning customers away from this scam.

Excellent service!!!! Had a flat on the interstate, called AAA for a tow, called this location was surprised They had the tire needed. ( BMW), but we arrived around 4:30 pm and they closed at 5:00 pm. The staff stayed over just to help us get back on the road. Thank You!!!! Would highly recommend this location.

They broke an alignment bolt in lr and they have to replace the lower rear control and want me to pay labor for their mistake. UPDATE!!! Was able through corporate office to rectify the situation, paid for bolt and $50 towards labor was corrected in a timely manner with excellent feelings all around. Thank you Firestone and the wonderful staff in Sumter.

Took car in to have tires replaced with nothing wrong with the car except worn tires. Had 4 tires and an alignment done drove off and noticed the tire light on. I have a 2009 Lexus so I assumed it might be the spare. I checked all air pressure and it wasnt that. They were closing when I picked the car up so I call the next day and reported the problem and dropped the car off to figure out what was wrong. I suspected the tech had broken a sensor while installing the tires. No problem I managed a Sear and a NTB before and we would replace the sensor and keep the customer happy. By the way no Sears or NTB in my town. The manager kept the car all day and called 20 minutes before the close the following day and said that the sensor battery may have gone out but the sensor wasnt broken and wanted me to pay again to replace the battery. Needless to say I wasnt happy with that. I will be taking it to a separate dealership to double check. I got the district managers name and number. No one answered and unable to leave a message. You may want to consider another place. I will follow up after I get a second place to check this.

Brought my company truck to them to patch a tire and find out why the front end was popping and FIX IT. The sheer amount of unparalleled incompetence is astounding. I received a phone call that said in short, hey we fixed the tire and didnt find anything wrong with the front end your good to go. Only to receive a list of recommendations to fix the front end. THATS WHY I TOOK THE TRUCK THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! This truck goes over the road! Do you understand what will happen if that rod breaks?!?! The amount of money it will cost to fix PLUS THE TIME THE TRUCK ISNT WORKING? Pure unbridled incompetence. No excuse. Scumter strikes again.

Loved the manner in which they replied as I came in late in the afternoon with a nail in my tire. They checked everything over, found my tires were dry rotted, which I suspected. I then bought 4 new Firestones and had the oil changed while they had it. Charlie was a great help

I went to have a Rim replaced and a 4-wheel alignment. That was done fine. The courtesy check suggested that I have my Cabin Air Filter replaced. I declined. When I turned the air on dust and debris went flying into my car and my eyes which I wear contact lenses. I had never had a problem like this before and I seriously feel they made my cabin air filter dirty on purpose because I refused to have it replaced.

Understand that staffing can make times delayed from appt. however I don’t appreciate being held hostage while my truck is in the work bay for 1.25hrs and the only thing done is replacing the air filter. I came in to have 4tires replaced.Now at 3 hrs and still no truck. Never come to Broad street Firestone.

Expensive and charged me for stuff I didnt need. But, it was Sunday! Mostly everywhere I looked in the area was closed. Walmarts werent answering calls. I called Firestone Sumter, Broad St. Chris was cordial. My tire mechanic was professional and fast. The lobby area was comfy enough. They came through for me in a Sunday clinch thats where the extra star comes from.

Highly recommend Nathan for any of your needs. Overall great customer service and will go out of their way to make sure you get what you need.

Never in my life have I seen such poor customer service or such slow work. I had an appointment and still waited 30 minutes to be checked in. It’s been 2 hours and I’m still waiting. Will not waste my time with this place again. I’d give zero stars if possible. Angry doesn’t sufficiently describe me. Save yourself the time and head to Valvoline for better and faster service for an extra $20.

What a horrible experience. These people have hack mechanics who have no idea what is going on. My wife took a chance on even coming to this shop because she was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Normally I only service at the dealership, but my wife wanted to give them a try. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! She went in for an oil and filter change, and was recommended brakes, rotors, and a timing belt. Our car has a timing chain!! They tried to take advantage of her and thought they were going to make a quick buck. Little did they know that she is car savvy and knew better. After getting a second opinion (brakes nor rotors needed replacement any time soon), she will never be back. What a sad way to make money off of hard working people. Shame on the management for their predatory sales tactics!!!!

Got a bolt in my tire right before they closed.They were already closing down but they opened a stall back up to take care of it. They had me in and out in about 20 mins!

Great Service

Chuck did a great job of getting me a great tire at a great price. He worked me in, even though I had to go back home and pick up the tire sensors. He treated me like a person, instead of a dollar sign. For this he gained my business and my respect.

Outstanding service! First time coming to Firestone, but I remember my dad would always go to a Firestone for anything to be done to his BMW or Cadillac. They were great, very knowledgeable, and explained issues very well. Also, didnt push & try to sell me on things. They just shot me straight.

Those guys at Firestone came through again for me. Customer service is great as always and I like the fact that they made sure that I know and understand what was going on with my vehicle and what needed to be done.

The service was bad waited all day for tire never came was suppose to call on monday never call.

Made an alignment appointment for 8AM a week ahead of time and was told I was the only appointment at the time I made it. Got there 10 minutes early to find theyd made 4 other appointments for 8. After an hour and a half wait I left and went to another business in town who got me in straight away. This place is a joke! Dont waste your time!

People are nice. They wait time is ridiculous. Everytime I take my vehicle here, it takes hours, for something that should take an hour. They eventually finish and do a good job. Just takes forever.

3 visits in 2 weeks, bad customer service.1. Waited at desk 8 min. No one came in. Employees in garage looking at me standing at desk. Went back to car, called and ask a question . Was told to come in after lunch next day..2. Went back next day, told there would be a 3 hour wait. Best to make an appointment. Made an appt.for 7:30 am.3. Arrived 7:15, there was 3 other customers. 8:30 overheard conversation with new arrival, they received 4 vehicles from Enterprise car rental and had to repair those cars first. The 4 scheduled customers, had to wait until they finished those vehicles. Very disappointed with this kind of service. I was the 4th appt for that morning, left at 9:15. So much for making an appt!!. Should have walked in wait time would have been better.

They said it would be 4 hours before they could patch our tire. We went to walmart and bought a patch kit and did it ourselves in minutes.

Only place Ive EVER been to with a appointment and I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment and Im still sitting with my car not being moved 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment......why are we REALLY making appointments or scheduling appointments if your gonna be in line with everyone that hasnt made a appointment. Ill NEVER return to this location and most definitely will inform my friends and family to keep it moving past this place!!!!!!

I took my car in due to a puncture in one of my run-flat tires, which I wanted repaired. I was told by the manager (who is apparently new) that I was next in line. I ended up waiting two hours for what ended up taking them two minutes to inspect. They told me they couldn’t fix the tire and that it would need to be replaced, basically that there was nothing they could do. I’m so lucky they didn’t have a replacement tire in stock because i could have ended up dropping hundreds of dollars. Instead, I drove to Tread Quarters Discount Tire, five minutes away. They were able to repair my tire within ten minutes for a nominal fee. Avoid Firestone, go elsewhere, you’ll probably end up saving money.

Took my vehicle in for brake service. Had to replace the two rear cylinders and front brake pads. I pre checked parts cost at multiple locations so I knew what they normally ran. The parts they are getting are beyond over priced! And labor is crazy expensive too. Took them over 5 hours to do these two minor things. Worst place to take your vehicle, just don’t do it.

Run away fast, luckily my daughter told me about the brake job they wanted to do. Dude says typically you replace the brake fluid when you replace the pads. Typically I put speed knots on your head if you rip off my kid.

Went into firestone with tires purchased from another store. They managed to find me a better deal and included road hazard. They also diagnosed a bad wheel bearing that other shops could not. Their Service Advisor and Technicians were on point. Thank you Paul and Nathan. You not only saved me hundreds of dollars. But you also solved issues on my car that others could not.

Wife took our vehicle to firestone to have the AC checked out. They wanted to replace the “ENTIRE AC SYSTEM” for a mere $3000.00!! The manager had an excuse/answer for any and all questions that I had, so we left and took the vehicle to the Ford dealership. They performed the same test and found nothing wrong with AC system except a couple of air flaps were not opening properly? They performed some courtesy work on those and problem solved for free! I truely believe that this business is without a doubt taking advantage of anyone they can! Be Aware!

I rented a truck from enterprise and they couldn’t get us in another truck or suv. Firestone keep a mechanic on to fix the tire and get us out moving. They are a class act.

If you have at least an hour and a half just to get an oil change its the place to go. I just cant understand stand it . the one in Myrtle Beach takes about 40 mins.

First let me say I love Firestone as a company, Ive had great experance with the company at another location and think there pricing is not to high for a chain. HOWEVERIve been to this location twice and had a bad experance twice both times related to alignment (BTW life time alignment is a good deal). Almost a year ago I had tires put on and alignment performed all seamed fine. Only now a year later when putting diffrent tires on did another tech at a diffrent location discover my custom locking alighment bolts were trashed by the last alignment and if they even un-tightened the bolt it wouldnt go back together.On a seperate ocasion had had my GF pring her Honda Fit in for tires and alignment. Shortly after leaving she said the car became almost undrivable, she limped along 378 at a thrid the speed limit to another firestone that found the alignment bolts to be on only had tight! The last Tech had not tightened down the bolts after finishing and her alignment was going crazy on the Highway im glad she was able to pull over and go slow and some horible didnt happen!In summary Firestone as a company, not bad at all. There lifetime alignment? Great value. This location? AVOID at all costs in my opinion, go somewhere that hires Technicians who car at all as based off my experance months apart they consistantly dont here.
