The staff is always nice and accommodating. I walked in 10 minutes before closing and Grace was kind enough to take me. In addition she is great at what she does. Highly recommend them.

I accompanied a friend to his hair cut the other day and as an interior designer was really impressed by the design and color scheme of the salon. There was a roomy, seated island for waiting guests to work at which was super convenient. Its clear that the owner has great taste and a lot of care and thought was put into the environment. Most importantly though, my friend was really happy with haircut!

I have been a member of Kennedys for the last 4 years and continue to be extremely impressed with the service that I received from Sammy. So much so that I have driven from New Brunswick to all three of their locations just to continue to experience the service I have grown accustomed to. I relocated to the area from Miami a few years ago and struggled to find good barber. To be honest, I am extremely picky and specific when it comes to how my beard is maintained and the hot towel process. I was accustomed to amazing service from Miles and Lyles in Aventura, FL and suffered finding someplace comparable. I havent submitted negative reviews for other shops in NJ due to my understanding of my own specific expectations and because I understand that most may not be nearly as obsessed or involved with the treatment of their beards, but I digress. I always think back to my first encounter with Sam in which I wasnt intended to be his client but due to my expectations Sam decided to stay past his shift in order to shave/trim my beard.Sam, the shop Beard King modified his schedule in order to accommodate me shortly before closing. The shave was exactly what I needed!!!! He spent time speaking to me about what I ultimately desired and once again gave candid recommendations to allow it to grow out a little more before trimming it. He made sure that the hot towels were used at the right times, used a steamer throughout the process to ensure that the pores remained opened for the closest possible shave. He shaved once along the grain and once against all the while preventing any type of irritation. We finished as would be expected with a cold towel and I felt like a new man. While all the specifics may seem unimportant to most, this is what sets Kennedy apart from the 4 or 5 other self proclaimed beard shops in the area.I have been a member now for several years and now I have a luxury of just sitting in the chair and letting him work his magic. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for an amazing cut, shave, but most importantly - service.

Wow all I have to say is wow... This was not my normal barber shop. But I was in a rush and just came in and boy am I glad I did. I was approached by one of the other ladys who was very professional and made me feel at home. Than the star of the day was Candi... Not only was it probably the best hair cut Ive got in my entire life... She is so fun and classy to talk to it was a great experience. Especially the shampoo felt like heaven... All I can say if there was a way to give 10 stars instead of 5 I would. You get treated like a gentlemen by beautiful classy women who even offer you a drink while your waiting. I have already become a member and cant wait till my next visit to get am amazing hair cut, shave, ext Amazing atmosphere and experience. Theres just no other place like it around. Ask for Candi and you wont regret it she is the star of the show

Great haircuts amazing barbers, everyone is very friendly.I go to Sammy for my haircuts, Sammy has been doing my hair for 5 plus years and executes with an amazing job every single time. Whether you wanna talk about horrormovies or working out Sammy is the guy to go to. Another amazing perk about Kennedys is that I set up my appointment every single two weeks and i look veey presentable all the time. Whether you want a skin fade a really nice beard trim or a hot shave Sammy is the guy.

Started coming a few months ago, joined the monthly membership. Well worth it. Place is clean, staff is always friendly, Sammy does a great job with hair and beard. Would recommend to friends!

Great spot for a shave. Took my groomsmen there the morning of my wedding. The team ordered us in amazing breakfast sandwiches and we hung on the couches in front of 12 televisions. Nothing quite like getting a flat blade shave. Sammy and his team made us look fresh and clean!

I absolutely recommend Kennedy’s All-American to all ages. The Summit/Westfield locations have kid-friendly lounges, complimentary drinks/snacks, and an overall great atmosphere.Make sure to ask for Sammy - guy’s a pro.

Terrible haircut. Spoilt it. After hair cut, everyday I look into mirror and regret why I chose Kennedy’s. Problem is, it takes another 2-3 weeks to get your hairs back to normal before you go to another salon to fix it. Either they need more professionals (with better attitude) who really understand what to do or they should stop the service. Save money and go some where else. Wasted my money there and regretting every day.

Over the past year, I change six barbers, because I cannot find someone who will cut at least well, not perfect. but Luz - yes, she did perfect, was very attentive and sensitive. Kennedy’s Barber - the place where I will return.

The Summit location for Kennedys is just as great as the Westfield location. Atmosphere is perfect - good music and all the latest sports games on multiple TVs throughout the shop. The staff is very friendly and the haircuts are top notch. Ask for Sammy - he has been cutting my hair for years and is a surgeon when it comes to haircuts and beards. Highly recommended.

Oooh what a disappointing place.. lf you looking to work with professional go somewhere else.. the worst hair cut ever.. the guys messed up the haircut not only that they didnt pay attantion to what we were requesting and just kept on going without even understanding.When we complained they said I have to go ask someelse to fix or come later.. after spending close to $100/- we came out disappointed.Not only the money and disappointment at that time it will hurt until we go to someone who knows what they are doing..A strat NO for these people save your money choose a professional.Horrible 😔
