I’ve been dealing with an extremely stressful situation involving moving my items to storage. Bob and Cybil have been extremely helpful, understanding, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Life Storage for short or long term storage. Their containers are clean, well maintained and I’ve seen no evidence of bugs or rodents.

The manager Cybil is a mean, rude, not willing to help customers, etc. She really needs professional help. The storage unit has outlets, but she will not let you use them. Nice and easy process checking in. Very friendly, allowed me to tour the spaces and check things out prior to getting a space. MILITARY friendly. Was able to get a moving van to move my stuff which was super helpful. Cybil and Mary were very helpful and glad to have done business with them. The spaces were clean and the security is really good.

I called and spoke to the Manager Mary Friday with some questions. I’m moving from out of town and was not sure what size storage space I would need. She answered all my questions and She has the best customer service I have ever seen and went out of her way to help me with everything. I hope the company know what kind of employee they have working for them and how just her being there to help customers and her customer service will make people come back and recommend ethers to rent from life Storage in Summerville.

The staff here has gone above and beyond to make sure everything I own was safe and secure. This included putting a tag on my door so my ex couldn’t access my locker with me living out of state.

Great price and service. I used the truck to move a bed to the storage unit. When I pulled up to the unit the gentleman offered to help put the bed in the unit. That was greatly appreciated as my wife and I really struggled to get it in the truck.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR MILITARY PERSONNEL.I am currently out of the state, as I have recently joined the military. When I initially started my contract I signed up for a promotion with the Summerville location that lasted 6 months. After the promotion was over, my rent was increased 2 times (in less than 12 months).. At that point I asked to utilize my military discount as I would be a long term customer until moving out of the barracks. HOW EVER I WAS DENIED MY MILITARY DISCOUNT, because of the promotion I signed up with (that has now been expired for over 4 months.)I am very unsatisfied with my decision and unfortunately can not do anything about it until I can take leave and return to SC. This location/company clearly does not value their customers business or military personnel as a whole.

This place has been great in regards to customer service, which you never expect going in to rent a storage unit. The units and lots are clean and well maintained. I’ve ran into issues with fraud on my card, so when my auto-payment declined, they were very understanding. I would recommend them to anyone in the area if you need a place to store anything!

I’d like to see the customer service there is right on point Cybil and Patties we’re great answered every question so there’s two different units so we can figure out what size you needed they sat with us and explain everything have a gate code work and Patties went outside with me to make sure I could use it and it worked and she took me to the building so I can put my lock on it and make sure I had no problems getting into the building. I felt funny asking her questions over and over again because I didn’t think I understood them and she did not get mad she she was fine we even joked about it I definitely would recommend anybody and everybody to go there and it’s very clean. The best part though was when Patty want to take us out on the golf court it had Ricky and the seats were wet she went inside and got paper towels and dried the seat off for me I thought that was very very nice of her

My storage issues SOLVED! The cost of renting was lower than I expected. Cybil gave me a tour of unit sizes so I could visualize the amount of space I needed. She was professional & courteous as she helped me open an account. The facility was clean & spacious. I recommend Life Storage & would use them again in the future.

My post might be a little late but I’m renting from life storage I’ve been there about three weeks now and when I first went there I met with Patty and I must say she was amazing funny conscientious and very very helpful and I must say the place is very very clean I definitely will be here for a long time. Patty had walked me up to my unit showed me it and then went and swept it all out because it had a little debris dirt but she swept out the whole unit for me. And when she sees me pull her property she always waves asked me how I’m doing she’s very very polite she definitely belongs with customer service

I’m writing this review for a friend who just got a storage unit great price very clean and Patty was very helpful took her time She showed us a few different units At first we wanted an outside unit and she asked us what we were storing we told her furniture close couches mattresses and and a living room set she suggested an indoor that is climate controlled. And we would’ve never thought of that we were just gonna put everything outside unit we are glad we listen to Patty she definitely knows what she’s doing.

Had a storage unit here and cant say enough good things about this Storage place!!Temperature controlled, cameras, clean as a whistle, and a safe environment!

Looks great from the outside, their Customer service is horrible! I was waiting on my girlfriend while she unloaded some things, and the Manager CYBIL handed a girl next to us some papers. She said it was warning papers. Anyhow the young lady rolled her eyes and let out a very soft giggle. Honestly she wasnt rude. I hear the Cybil, the Store Manager, do a sarcastic giggle back to the patron. I have done customer service my entire life and immediately thought this person IS NOT management material is she cant maintain composure. Very disappointed. My girlfriend and I are taking our business elsewhere. I am a District Manager and that is somthing I dont tolerate.

I came into the office 20 minutes before closing and spoke with Cybil, i wasnt sure how big of a unit i needed and she walked me through a couple of units i was very indecisive but she remained patient and professional and provided me with feedback based on her experienceand i was able to get the best unit for my needs.If you are in need of a great storage place go see Cybil she is amazing!!!

Such a GREAT experience! Dealt with Mary, and she was so great. Short notice of deployment but they had the perfect indoor climate controlled storage for us. Ever since Life Storage bought out Cube Smart in Summerville, it has been one disaster after another with these people. They refuse to send bills and then charge late fees. I would never recommend them to anyone, ever.

Customer service was awesome!! They met me at the door. Associates made sure I understood the contract. Facility is very clean. Love how you can book reservations and view your account online. Would definitely rent from CubeSmart again.
