Found myself in an unfortunate situation and was unemployed in January 2021 (with no fault of my own). I had been shopping around for better quotes to try to save the last bit of money I had. I contacted Allstate and requested to cancel my policy. The associate informed me in order to cancel I would have to contact Sandra Rabon Agency directly to cancel. So in fear of having to pay more money for a deposit for a new insurance company, I decided to wait. In February I learned my policy had been canceled and my license had been suspended since July 2020 because Sandra Rabons agency did not update the DMV that I had active insurance. I contacted Trish, Tricia, and I was Informed she was not the DMV and that did I not notice my payment didn’t come out in January. I informed that I was unemployed at the time and a little distracted. She was very rude and difficult to talk with. The rest of my contact with them was with a manager, who answered the phone on speaker phone every time I called and sent me on a wild goose chase to get “a form filled out” at the DMV. Apparently, it was only a requisition number that was needed but maybe requisition is too big of a word for Trish to say. I was also informed they would not be able to write a new contract with me (as if I would want to) and even asked “how did you come to be our customer anyways? Did you sign up online?” I informed them that I was transferred to them. They treated me as if I was ignorant and a bother to them. I would not recommend Sandra Rabon Insurance Agency. Apparently, the staff there are immune to difficult, unfortunate situations.

Left a message and received a call back within 15 mins. Promptly answered my questions and reviewed my policy with me for proper coverage. Knowledgeable, kind and professional.

Very nice, professional and accommodating. Their quick turnaround time kept me from having to Uber back and forth to work during the Thanksgiving week. Im soooooo glad I switched to Allstate from Geico. I also really appreciate that they have a local office, but I havent been there yet because so far they can do everything over the phone with no in person contact (but its still very friendly and personal.) Very happy with them!

I was with this group for years. Then I switched insurance companies because I found a better rate. After 2 months, I noticed that Allstate was still drafting payments from my account. When I called them, they said that they could only cancel from the day that I called which is not accurate. I even have verification of insurance from the other carrier to show when that coverage was effective and they refused to refund me. They suggested I call the 1-800 Allstate number but wait until after hours to do so because I will just be routed back to an agent and they cannot assist.

Very happy with the customer service at this Allstate agency. Was involved in an accident for the first time in my 60 years of driving. The other driver was 100% at fault. Joann Welch personifies what a true insurance professional should be. Her knowledge, experience and ability to dig deep to find the answer and solutions to my concerns was very comforting and reassuring. I left my former insurance agency due to a lack of communication and care. It wasnt until Joann offered to review my former auto policies that I realized I was overpaying for my car insurance. My former broker never kept in touch with me, especially when my insurance premium was about to increase substantially. Dont put off calling Joann at Sandra Rabons Allstate Insurance Agency. I had some issues with billing around my policy renewal and in reaching out to the Sandra Rabon office today to try to figure out how to fix the problem for the third time, I was repeatedly told that I was lying by Janet and I also received some snide comments from Trisha about my financial situation. I was in shock at the complete disrespect, having been a customer in good standing for years. I was frustrated when I made the call today to begin with but by the time I got transferred from Janet to the manager Trisha, I was fuming (mostly because Janet told me she wasn’t going to sit and have me yell at her as if I was the one acting out of line when I was only upset because she was continually calling me a liar when I was telling the truth and saying over and over that I had done and said things that I most certainly did not) I’ve cancelled my policies and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

.We have been with Allstate many, many years and have never had a problem with Allstate in this area; however, we are having problems with the Allstate office in Nashville, Tn. presently. The Charleston office has tried to help, but to no avail.
