Azalea Square Massage Envy has several of the BEST massage therapists! My last trip to the spa was absolutely amazing. I received a ninety-minute massage with a facial afterwards, and it was a fabulous experience. I would even go as far to say that my visit was spiritually uplifting. Carolyn has a special gift of soothing the soul and relaxing the mind. I would highly recommend a visit to Massage Envy at Azalea Square. The receptionists are also always friendly and helpful!

Always a wonderful and relaxing experience here. Tre has been my massage therapist at this location for a few years now, and he is fantastic! I have chronic back and neck pain, and Tre always fixes me up so Im good for another month. Terrific staff at the front desk, too! Everyone is just super nice, polite and friendly.

Won’t honor a $25 promo gift card that I received during COVID times. While I realize it’s an expired promo card, again this was during COVID. We literally just got word from the governor to lift masks orders so I thought they’d do the right thing by honoring it. Sad and disappointing to say the least.

My wife scheduled a massage for her and myself. Prior to the appointment my wife had a headache and minor cough which we believe was due to sinuses. We both felt well enough to go but called the location in an over abundance of caution so that the facility and therapists didnt think we were wandering in without being responsible. We had no objections to wearing masks during the massage as an extra precaution, but the receptionist informed us that they would have to cancel both appointments just to make sure that it wasnt a COVID concern, even mine although I felt fine and had no symptoms. Additionally, they were going to charge both of us 50% of the cost since the appointment had to be cancelled, even though IT WAS NOT at our request.I understand and support wanting to protect your employees, but I fail to see the fairness in charging us for cancellations that Massage Envy implemented. The truly sad part is the lesson learned that if you have a appointment with Massage Envy, you are better served by not being upfront about your health. Unfortunately I suspect this actually will create a higher risk for the therapists.

Extremely expensive, not professional whatsoever and poor customer service. Paid for a one hour session and received a 40 minute session. They also make you specify the type of pressure youd like over 3 times for them to turn around and do whatever they want because thats their expertise Rip off! Do not go here!Edit: I already contacted the locations site and they didnt even bother to contact me back.

My friend came to our appointment on time. However, she was not instructed to arrive earlier than 12:15. She was only given 35 minutes for her massage instead of 60 minutes. When booking, she asked for three appointments to be at the exact same time, just to be told one person has to come at 12:45 at the last minute. Because our other friend was instructed to come at 12:45 she was able to have a 1.15 hr session instead of 60 minutes. This was not only unfair but the level of disrespect (eye rolling, turning heads) was terrible. I will NOT book with this place again after the treatment we received today.

I throughly enjoyed my full body massage. This was a birthday present from my boyfriend. My masseuse Christina did an excellent job. Although I live in Columbia SC, I will be making the trip to Summerville to book with Christina. She deserves a raise 🙂.

I scheduled a 90 minute massage a week after my husband and I went through a miscarriage for some physical and mental healing. My therapist Sherry had a presence about her that made me open up and she took such good care of me and gave me the healing I needed. Would highly recommend this location and Sherry to anyone.

This is not this franchises fault, but Massage Envy WILL NOT allow the customer to switch locations within the state. So no matter where live, you are locked into system you begin with. This is supposed to be seamless, but it isnt and it is annoying whenever you are faced with some issue or some problem. Massage Envys policies are not user friendly and do not take into consideration the wishes of the actual customer.

I WILL NEVER BOOK HERE AGAIN! WORST MASSAGE EVER!!! Communication and Customer Service Skills are less than Satisfactory at this establishment. I booked an hour-long full body massage appointment for three people at 12:15pm, the day before this appointment they call and said that one of the appointments had a scheduled time of 12:45pm. I spoke to the manager because that wasn’t communicated when I first called them to schedule. The manager couldn’t help at all and we were forced to attend appointments that conflicted with our personal schedules that day. My friend and I attended our appointments at 12:15pm and only received 35mins of hands on massage time while our other friend that attended her appointment at 12:45pm received a full hour. I asked why, and the receptionist said our appointments were scheduled for 12pm and not 12:15pm. While I sat in my car waiting for my friend to finish her massage I realized the staff kept coming outside to watch me, roll their eyes and necks, and laugh which I found to be very unprofessional. After enduring enough of their unprofessionalism, I walked back in the store to speak to managers Jessica and Cassidy who told me that they would give me a call to schedule another hour-long full body massage for me and my friend that only received 35min massages. Unfortunately, I never received that call after a week of waiting and I was forced to reach out to corporate, after doing so the managers finally reached out to schedule a new appointment. To put the icing on the cake when I went in for my new appointment they booked me with an elderly lady that sat down to do my massage, she talked to me the entire time about my stressful job, and literally tapped on my body for an hour. I’ve had enough massages in my life to know that this was the worst massage I’ve ever received, and I believe wholeheartedly that they booked me with their worst masseuse to be vindictive because I went to corporate on them! I’ve been to other Massage Envy’s in the area, and I feel as though the Summerville Azalea Square location is the worst in the Tri-county area and should definitely consider closing their doors during this time.

Lynda is absolutely amazing. She listens so closely to your needs and make sure you are relaxed and feeling better in no time. The front staff are always so very friendly and nice. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing.

Very hit or miss. Ive gone a few dozen times over the last couple years and the experience has been inconsistent at best. Clearly good enough for me to keep going back but not good enough for me to refer other people there. Im sure there are better places in Summerville Im just too lazy to go and find them.

Massage itself was great, lady channeled areas I requested so overall was good massage. However just like I was afraid of after reading several reviews it wasnt a full hour maybe 40 min at best which is a bummer was actually looking forward to making this a monthy thing but I think Ill shop around for a place that actually does the time that was paid for.

I got my dad a gift card 6 years ago. He lost it and just found it the other day. Called to use it and they told us it expires after 5 years. I was never told that when we purchased it, nor does it say ANYWHERE on the gift card that it has an expiration date. We were also told bu the staff member that the manager would give us us a call, which we never recieved. We will not be going to this location, or any other Massage Envy location again.Edit: I contacted them with no resolution. They did not honor the card or refund the money.

I have been going here every month for years and I recommend it to anyone who feels like they could use some relaxation. They also have stretching offered now. I have not tried it yet, but will post an update when I do. See you there!

I have a warning for new clients of this SPA. Last year my wife and I visited and they offered my wife a free massage if I would start a membership. The young lady offered all the information EXCEPT the fine print which is YOU SIGN A ONE YEAR CONTRACT!!!!I am not a big fan of massages so I didnt go very often and I have a busy schedule plus live 45 miles from Summerville. About 4-6 months after the DEAL I called requesting to cancel my contract. Oh no I was told there is a 12 month minimum?????Also there was a requirement to have the monthly fee deducted from your bank account. I was aware of that at the beginning, but not the 12 month minimum contract About three weeks ago a young lady from Message Envy called and said I had 6 massages paid for and I needed to use them. I told her I wanted to go ahead and cancel my membership at that moment. You must come in and sign the paperwork and do itOF COURSE IT TAKES 30 DAYS TO STOP THE MEMBERSHIP- Ok one more month of payment deducted. I finally managed to go in today and cancel my membership. You have 30 days to use the 6 massages you have paid for WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! I couldnt get in in 6 months to use them how am I going to use 6 in 30 days- A REAL RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now the quality of massages was very good, the masseuse were all very friendly and professional no complaints there- BUT BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ASK ABOUT THE FINE PRINT!!!!!!!!

Staff is good overall great massages and have said so before. I do have membership but it is pointless unless you have no job and unlimited time to set up appointments. For the past 4 months now have not had been able to use the membership as they have very limited availability good for them horrible for the customer. Today finally found a time to try the stretch and booked online. It said submitted and confirmed however they have been having many issues with the site not working so i wasted time to come in just to be told to go away and now im out again. The cancel membership policy is to pay in full so basically its a huge rip off as service is not available while you are paying monthly and then you pay when you get there so even if you could use it it is barely a deal at all.

I have been extremely pleased with the services at Massage Envy. Over the years Ive had hundreds of massages at many places, and Massage Envy ranks very high in my estimation. Of course a lot depends on hooking up with the right therapist and communicating you likes and dislikes. I am very glad my husband and I signed up for monthly massages!

Every time I go there Im well satisfied! I promise ask for Jeff! He is the best! Last time I went I got only for one hour but today Im going to get 90 minutes massage! Try it please. Had the best deep tissue massage with Tre yesterday. Visiting from out of town. Tried to get another massage in before I leave but he was booked. That is how good he is. Highly recommend.

Great place to go and the masseuses know what they are doing. Originally went in for lower back pains from trying to play he-man. Granted I did what needed but suffered afterwards. Ended up getting a membership there. After awhile I stopped going once I felt much better. How ever if you dont go frequently or at all, the monthly fees end up getting ya for about 1k a year. If you go frequently though you do save a bit. Overall would go back, just not under membership.

I walked in stress, in pain and just plain tired. After a great massage to work out all the links and and a facial...Im feeling good so good I yawned until tears seeped out and the facial wound up the full body massage. I like medium to firm and Quaysia provided the right amount of presseur, yeah some feel good pain worked...and Chelsea gave great advice and home remedies to keep me cute....lol...Im glad I went and now a member....Thank you Chelsea (my daughter) and Matisse you guys rock!

The masseuse was an amature. The young girl bruised the back of my neck. She did not make me feel comfortable on the table. My son who was also getting one, also did not have a good experience. We will not be coming back.

5 stars because of my therapist Michelle!!! She has a tremendous memory and is able to go right to the pain points!!!

I will never do business with this company again. They are a complete waste of time and money. You have to schedule the appointments a month in advance and then the day of my massage they call and tell me my therapist had to take the day off so they just cancelled my massage. They also never start on time and still end at the time they would of ended had they started in time. Very disappointing!
