I have been using Elegant Jewelers for years and I have always been completely satisfied. They have made several pieces for me and they turned out exactly like I wanted. I do not live in Sugar Land but still go back to them for all my jewelry needs. They are very honest and trustworthy.

What a wonderful, local, custom jewelry store!! I had an idea in mind for an anniversary band that required just a little tweaking to ready made wedding bands - 3 blue sapphires to replace 3 of the diamonds. They had a wide selection of wedding bands to see in store and the perfect one for my vision. (I went to a store in town prior to visiting Elegant Jewelers, and their selection was not as good, and they didn’t have one that completely fit my idea.) They were very friendly, easy to communicate with, and had my ring ready on time. I highly recommend Elegant Jewelers.

We live in the neighborhood near this place. When my wife called and found out they replace battery for her Cartier watch, she was happy. We brought in her Cartier along with her Phillips Stein watch on last Saturday. The jeweler told us it won’t be done in the same day. We left both watches to them with trust. My wife waited until Wednesday after getting no phone call, she called the store and was told her Cartier was ready. When she asked the store why they didn’t call her, they told her that they did call and it went to a VM box not setup. We couldn’t believe how that happened cuz her VM box works perfectly. On Friday I went to the store to pick up my wife’s watches. The lady behind the counter took both watches out of a plastic bag. They were in the same bag without any protection. She took out the Cartier and put the watch face down. I was surprised to see what she did. I paid the service and they did not want to give me a receipt. I demanded a receipt, they were not happy at my request. I didn’t pay attention to the receipt and took both watches home. I was very unhappy with their attitude. My wife came home and looked at her Cartier, the watch isn’t moving. Then she noticed the receipt marked with a comment: Cartier does not work. We were so surprised and angry at what we saw. How can they not said a word about this?! They replaced the battery for the Phillips Stein but not the Cartier and said nothing. Not when my wife called, not when I was at the store. Before we came to this store we read online that this place is family owned, what kind of family people would conduct business in the way they did? We went online and found more reviews from others and regretted that we didn’t research enough before we chose to trust this place. We are practically neighbors, can’t believe they did what they did. Tomorrow we will go to the Cartier store in River Oaks. We are worried now. Who knows what they might have done to my wife’s watch. This place cannot be trusted.Update: After receiving owners response, I am 100% positive that this place is untrustworthy.Please open your eyes and look at the following photos is the evidence. Such dishonest business, makes us feel really disappointed.

The employees and persons who are inside the store DO NOT wear mask. One uses face shield without the mask. I felt very unsafe and scared while there. Tryvto go to other place. We need to hold people accountable. I am giving them busssines and they give us virus in return, no way!!!

$70 for a ring clean and polish. The ring was back to the same appearance after a month of being cleaned and polished. Normally, this service last a year or more. Also, the staff is not the friendliest.Thank you for replying. My name is not listed for privacy reasons, and i was visiting family while in Sugar Land. Id love to come by and have it polished again. Perhaps the next time i visit you can resolve this problem. I will call you to see how you might resolve this issue.

This is a very nice jeweler with friendly staff. Went there for first time to get watch band fixed. Very quick and reasonably priced service.

Ive used this jeweler for all of our needs..watch batteries, repairs, etc for the better part of 25 plus years...and always excellent work, they have an excellent reputation so no worries about the quality of work thats being done. If you need a jeweler this is where you should go. Their hours are what youd expect for a small business run by its owners..the work is worth the wait for your schedule.

They got my ring done within a day. They offer free jewelry cleaning in minutes and cleaned one of my rings that I didnt need service for. The prices were reasonable, Ill definitely be back.

Eligant Jewelers is an independent company with strong goof old fashion customer focused values. Every time I go into the store for any request including some off the wall request they are quick to handle my needs. Recently my wife was going through her deceased mother’s jewelry and found several pieces of old earrings that ere badly in need of repair. My wife asked if I could drop by and see if Eligant Jewelers could help. She sad she didn’t like the old styles and wished something different could be done other than to just repair and clean the various pieces. I sat down and in about 15 minutes of kicking around ideas we arrived at a new design that incorporates all the stones into one fantastic, one of a kind set of fabulous earrings. Five days later (for Valentines) the new jewelry had been built by onsight expert jewelers was ready.My wife was blown away! Any chain store jeweler would have freaked out and told me they couldn’t do the work or that they would have to send it to NYC or goodness knows where for a few months at ten prices.Having an independent expert jeweler in the area where I live is indeed priceless. From now on they’ve got all my business!

This company tried to steal over $400 from me. I ordered a watch and no followup, did not ship item, would not respond to emails or refund for item that they never shipped to me. I had to file a claim to get my money back. Stay away from this shady company.

Lesson learned never coming back to this place again .... they charged me $20 to remove a single link from my watch .... but never said anything about pricing when I called to ask if they remove watch links .....nor did they say how much it was going to be When they had my watch in their hands.......until the work was done and I asked them how much I owed them ....then they said $20 ........something didn’t feel right ...... from the looks of these reviews they needed it more than I did

Horrible customer service. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. I got to the shop at 5:57 PM to pick up my pearls for my wedding. They were closed, though the hours are from 9-6. The man who works there was in an SUV with his wife. He saw me approach the store (at 5:57)... So, yes, its almost closing time but not quite!!!!! After I rang the bell and noticed they were closed (still, not yet 6), my fiancé noticed the man in the SUV had looked at me ringing the bell and left!!!!!!! I saw him at the light and casually asked him if he worked at Elegant Jewelers. He said he did but he didnt own it. I told him it was my wedding day the next day and if he could possibly let me in (since they were not closed)!!!!!! He said no. I would need to call the owner.... With an attitude! I was very kind to him and pleaded with him to let me in and he insisted he didnt have a key.... OK. His wife was in the passenger seat laughing. SO....I cant say enough how irritating and completely unprofessional that was. Now dont get me wrong.... He maybe didnt have a key... But I seriously doubt it. Beyond this, the pearls were not ready when they were supposed to be originally (about a week ago), so, of course, we didnt have a choice but to give them more time. YOU FIRST DONT HAVE MY PURCHASE READY WHEB YOURE SUPPOSED TO, but on top of that, you tell me not to show up at 5:57 when they close at 6:00...????? Yes, he actually had the audacity to tell me this. OK. Well, heres some advice for you-if your hours are from 9-6, that actually means that you dont lock your doors UNTIL 6. Imagine that. I know common sense is not all that common, but come on!!!! He simply didnt want to help a customer who had already paid for their service because he wanted to leave a couple of minutes early. Horrible customer service. I am the kind of person who appreciates good customer service.... You know-the golden rule; do unto others. Just take my advice and go somewhere else.
