Had speaker issues with my iPhone. Set up an appointment and Joe the lead at the Genius Bar helped me. Turns out it was just dust build up but Joe cleaned it up and works like new. Super personable guy. Thanks Joe!!

I get that its a busy mall. But if i order a phone online to pickup in store when Im right there the. I would expect to be able to just get it. No we had to wait almost 2 hrs to pickup the phone when I ordered it online in front of the sales guy helping me. And for nothing. Its not like they activate it or do anything, they put it in a bag and hand it to you. But ordering online is the only way you get a military discount. Overall they could fix that to become more consumer friendly.

Bernard was a tech genius who had incredible patience. I am not great at tech, and he kept saying take your time. He not only knew what he was doing, he is the king of customer service. His attitude never wavered, and he was incredible. I would give him 6 stars if they were there. He should be the trainer for both tech support and customer service. Whatever they are paying him, its not enough.

Very poor customer service two days in a row! Went in for a scheduled appointment to get screen replaced . When I arrived they said they wouldn’t be able to repair the phone today because my appointment was too late. Well I schedule an appointment for a task if you already know you won’t have time for it. Came back the next day to get phone screen replaced and they quoted me twice the price from the day before because I have a very small crack on the back of the phone. They said I would have to replace the glass on the back of the phone which would cost an additional $200 because it would completely shatter when they took the screen off . I said I just want the phone screen replaced and I can deal with a shattered back . They said they can’t do that and I would have to get both replaced. I asked why I was not informed about this the day before because I would have found someone else to repair my phone . The guy stated I never came in the day before and that I had only called . I told him I had came in and he looked me in the eyes and said I did not and said I had called . This place has terrible customer service! Who tells their customers they are lying . Got my phone fixed at a shop in the mall for $125 .and they did not shatter the back of the phone when making the repair . Apple is just trying to scam people. They need to further train there customers in this store .

Terrible customer experience (there is no service at all, so can’t use that word). Dropped off daughter’s laptop for warranty service. They got my email address and emailed me service receipt. It was ready in couple days. Went to the store to pick it up at 8:15 pm on a Saturday (store closes at 9 pm). When signing me in, was told “since it’s under your daughters name, we can’t release the equipment”, which made sense to me. So, I asked how can she authorize me for pickup. This is where things went downhill quickly.“An” the store manager walked in and said, “she needs to call the store to authorize..BUT, DO NOT CALL NOW AS ITS CLOSING TIME AND NO ONE WILL ANSWER YOUR CALL..”. It was 8:18pm. Those were his exact words and I was furious to hear him say that. I didn’t reply or escalate. He continued to shut me out, with his fake politeness of “sorry… thank you”. That was it. I was appalled by his audacity to treat a customer like this.After I notified my daughter, she added me as an authorized person in the next 10 mins. The call went to a call center and not to the local store. I went back to the store around 8:45 pm and picked up the laptop without a fuss. The irony is, it was by the same manager, who sent me packing rudely the first time. After receiving the laptop, I took him aside and gave him a piece of my mind. He was unapologetic, didn’t own his words, shifted blame on his team for not creating ticket correctly and even tried to blame me. I got his card, to verify I was talking to the store manager.I can’t remember the last time, experiencing such a terrible attitude and inept skills from a business rep. Made me feel sorry for his crew and no wonder there are so many poor reviews for customer service. Looks like they care only about sales at this location and service is just a drag for them. Upper management better take note and re-train the store manager quickly and others hired/trained by him, before sales start going down.

This store gets a lot of traffic therefore it should be a little more organized. Some of the workers have a ton of knowledge about the Apple products which is great. I’ve learned a lot from a few of them. They also offer free workshops sometimes to teach you more about how to work your Apple devices. The wait times can be really long for an appointment due to the high volume so keep that in mind. Any Apple product you need will usually be in stock.

Dont know if it was because of the weather, but I was assigned a service representative the moment I walked in. Ms. Gladys was extremely helpful, now mind you, Im not an Apple fan but need an iPad for my business. But Ms. Gladys calmed all of my fears, answered all of my nervous questions. Because this is a big step for me Ms. Gladys gave me some questions to ask my business support team before I make purchase. I truly appreciated that concern. 100 percent satisfaction

This store has the worst customer service. It seems the only thing the techs know how to do is ask do you have an appointment or try to sell you merchandise you dont need or asked for. Now the store in Highland Village, the techs are welcoming and empathic towards your needs, especially if its an emergency. The techs at the First Colony store need to do better, plus more training is needed for them.

We went to the appointment to change the iphone chargers as they stopped working. and they told us that we had to bring the purchase receipts, please save your receipts when you buy a cable charger for your iphone so these people have no excuse to help you change them when they are ruined. (And the wires dont have to be broken.)

Brought my phone in to fix the keyboard issue, couldnt find the problem so the technician did reset my phone and told me if if happen again, just bring in and they will replace a new phone for me. I did bring it back when the keyboard was acting up but the wait is too long; so today, waiting until the issue is producing again to bring it in but they couldnt replace my phone after doing all kind of test/diagnostic. They found the issue but cant re-produce the problem for them to see (what? you found the error after the test dude). Ending up calling Apple Store and just cost me $30 for shipping and they are replacing my phone that way. Why giving a customer a difficult time like that Apple Store @ First Colony Mall? Wasting so much of my time .......

Read the bad experience, they were right about this store and I should have been more cautious.To elaborate, I visited this store a week ago to have my phone checked and they told me the cellular/connectivity isnt working and to fix it, they would need to replace the back so I had to wait for the part to arrive at the store. So I waited.Today, I visited them and waited for 20 minutes until someone actually helped. They gave me a paper with a code and said it will be done in 2 hours.At the exact time they said the phone would be completed, I came in and gave them the code to scan, the person told me, 𝐈𝐭𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐭, 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝟓 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬. So I waited a little more but it was taking WAY too long so I asked another person and he managed to bring my phone out just to tell me the technician wasnt able to fix it.He showed me a picture saying that the screw inside was replaced. I got my brand new sealed phone in April, and have never brought it to any technician so I was really shocked/confused because no one has opened this phone at all, its been with me 24/24.He continued saying that the when the technician opened it, they immediately concluded that this phone cannot be fixed because the screw was replaced.First of all, the sheet they gave me earlier said that they would start fixing my phone at 4:30 (I was there at 3PM). If he said the technician wasnt able to fix it when they just opened the phone, 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗢𝗥 𝗘𝗠𝗔𝗜𝗟 𝗠𝗘 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝗠𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗜𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗥 (𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲)?Secondly, then why the other guy told me to wait another 5 minutes+ if the phone was already determined unfixable way before that?Continue with this horrible experience, he suggested I could have the phone fixed at $499.99 which was annoying because I already paid for this phone and now I have to pay extra for a part that was somehow already there?The associate said since theres no way they could help me at the store (unless I pay), he recommended I should call Apple to fix this issue and to me, that is some bs because I was already at an Apple Store, talking to an Apple associate in-person and they want me to call Apple AGAIN? I did not waste 4 hours and gas just for you to tell me to talk to Apple.He then said I should try contacting my carrier, in which I did and they told me to visit Apple and now Apple wants me to contact my carrier. This is a very fun experience so far. Since I just want to know every possible solutions, I asked him what should I do if the carrier refers me back to Apple, and he told me pretty much nothing can be done (except paying the $499.99 or just buy a new phone that would be less frustrating than waiting for 4 hours for absolutely nothing). He then told me I could try talking to the manager so I agreed.The manager then came and just repeated exactly what the other person said to me, and though I already know nobody is going to help me unless I agree to pay the money. ZERO stars!!8/10/2021: My daughter visited this Apple Store because she could not connect to Sprint. She was informed that the internal antenna stopped working on its own.8/11/2021: My daughter and I went to this store and purchased another I-phone. Taaron initially met with us and in the end provide me with a damage report, but Shannon helped us choose the phone and complete the transaction because she was more experienced. I spent $843.44. We also stayed to transfer the data from the old phone. We were in the store for at least 2hours. Shannon was very nice and helpful. No issues.8/12/2021: We returned to this store to ask about the $100 Mastercard rebate and Taaron was already defensive and rude when he came from the back. He asked for help and another rep, lady with tattooed arms, came to explain the process, but it was in a very loud tone. Taaron said I was rude yesterday, but we did not have much interaction with him and there were no issues he day before. When I asked her to lower her tone, she put her hand in my face and at that time I cursed her. We were then threatened and told to leave the store and security was called on us. When I asked for the store manager (George) contact, they would not give the info to me. Another lady who didn’t introduce herself in the beginning, quickly told us to leave again without inquiring about the issue. When the constable came, she changed her tone, informed us she was a manager (Monica), and finally gave me her card. I have this on video. We left the store.My 18yr old daughter and I have NEVER been treated like this. My daughter was very confused and crying.

Bad customer service, first of all you cant find anyone to help you. And second of all wanted to exchange my charger out because it was giving me a hard time. I upgraded my phone through my cell company a couple of months ago but still had to for some reason provide apple proof that the phone is from within a year mean while I’m hold the most recent model. Ha I don’t know apple seems to be getting more and more annoying. It might be time to consider android.

Having an apple product shouldn’t be this troublesome. I was told over the phone that it would take a day to have my MacBook Pro battery changed. When I get to the store, they tell me it’s a 48 hr diagnostic before they tell me whether they can fix my laptop in the store or have to send it off. What?! No.

Really disappointed. Dropped of an Apple Watch for repair and I was told that it will be mailed within 3 to 7 days. It’s been over 10 days and now they are saying that they are waiting for a part and don’t when it will be ready. Didn’t expect this from an Apple store. Very poor service.

Manbun assisting me stated that there was a box to ship it out in. Also stated it would arrive 2-3 business days at best and 3-4 business just in case of some or whatever at my location.Checked the Case 3 Business days later and lucky me the shipment to the repair center was pending.Chatted with Chat support told me to call the storeChatted with phone support when trying to call the store. Asked them what the status was on the repair. They called the store.Phone support stated that Store Customer Service stated that they did not have boxes to ship the device in.Tsk Tsk... This Apple location is literally the Bermuda Triangle for my devices. Every single time I go I’m waiting long periods of times even with an appointment. My phone and iPad have been knocked offline (no cell service) twice after visiting causing me to do a back and forth between the store and my cell providers store. I literally have to set aside 2-6 hours of time aside any time I come to this location. I get it...we’re still in a pandemic, but I just recently moved here from DFW and never had this occurrence at one of the two locations that I frequented for all my Apple needs. I will gladly drive further and out my way from here on out for more convenience and working devices when I leave the store. The staff is at least friendly and accommodating, but maybe it has something to do with First Colony mall and Hwy 6. I’m over it.

My family and I have visited this store and bought products on different occasions. So far, our experience has always been good. Friendly and helpful employees assisted us. I love the fact that we can see, touch, and examine a new product before we buy. And from our experience, they have what we want to buy 90% of the time. Once, they were out of what we wanted to buy, but it was one of those big holiday shopping event so it was understandable. I can’t wait till they reopen!

“Express Pick Up” took over an hour with a single digit number of people in front of me in line. The first woman managing the line during that time has no business interacting with customers. Anyone who has the audacity to say out loud to a group of customers “I’m gonna say this out loud so I don’t go off on nobody...” Go off? People are spending anywhere from $500-$5,000 on items at this store. Over the hour I stood in line a second woman took over that role and was significantly nicer. When people are waiting over an hour for “Express Pick Up” you are going to get people asking why and yet a customer is threatening to “Go Off” because people want to know why. Ultimately, this comes down to management. Get it together. This store is an absolute embarrassment to the Apple brand.

Too much employees and asking if there is anything they can do. Each time by different person, one time will be enough. They person that was helping us was checking his phone every second, very rude behavior. Other than that, the store was clean and nice looking like every apple store. Apple is fancy brand, and their logo is really cool. We were planning to buy macbook pro 256gb ssd 16gb ram; they didnt have it so we just did it online which wasnt so fun as buying from the store. Anyways, store is great but some employees are not needed for the store.

Visited Apple store today, seeking technical help to rectify mail issue which was cropping up. I stood in line but was told I had to have prior appointment. Requested her that I am after great difficulty I drove, just help me to see a technician to resolve but she just ignored my request. Apple is a reputable company but hate to say they have no empathy for senior citizens.Disappointed was walking back I dropped in AT & T store to see if someone one could help.Cynthia went out of her way to resolve the issue. That’s call humanity empathy for senior citizens. Apple failed miserably.

Horrible customer service from the managers (Ms.Monica) to the techs (Mr.Gregg).Went in asking for help and left with so much stress and confusion as to why we spend over $1,000 on phones when the manufacturer allows people like the people who work at this store work and represent their company and allow them to speak to people in whatever way they want as to saying “I work for Apple, I’m better than you”At this point I’m just gonna switch to android I don’t have the time (constant visits to apple store) or the energy to stay with apple.All I want is for the employees that work at this location to receive proper training and customer service skills because by the way they talk and act it doesn’t seem they have any training at all.Long story short brought my phone in because of freezing issues, was told they can only replace the screen, I told them if I could just get it replaced I don’t want mix match parts from different phone, they said NO because they ran a diagnostic test and it came out that the phone is in perfect condition. I said ok that’s fine I’ll just leave as I’m grabbing my phone I try to unlock and it freezes! I turn the phone around to the tech (Gregg) and manager (Monica) to show them that my phone indeed does not work properly and as I’m telling them “do y’all see, I’m not lying” they respond “we didn’t see anything and we weren’t holding the phone” 😂🤷‍♂️ WHAT? Are u serious? I literally sat there like is this a joke? I advised them I would call apple care to get it resolved because it was obvious they weren’t trying to help me or nobody. But before I left I asked for corporate number and the manager (Ms.Monica) said and I quote “BYE we are done with you, BYE!”

(Before Pandemic) The store is very clean, but can get really crowded at times so I wish they could regulate this a bit. I went here to get my battery replaced. They were a little late, but Jamar did a good job. He entertained us a bit and thoroughly explained what he was going to do. I walked around the mall for a bit, and got the message that my phone was ready within a reasonable amount of time.

The place definitely is not like before the pandemic, no free walk-in. Apple has put in place a control point where associates will take your order and provide you with your goods. Social distancing is well practiced with sanitizer stands available.

I bought a tablet here about 2 years ago and it’s very laggy. It’s saying a 24 second video can take up 6 gigs. I literally did LONGER videos than this and IT DID NOT TAKE UP STORGE. And useing a tablet by its selfs is taking up storge. And plus this thing has freezes saying no Internet WHEN ITS A FULL.It get dirty VERY easy. And this just makes me sad and this was a present for my birthday. And stuff is very overd priced. I’m very mad and I think they can do better for real!

I had an iPhone 11 Max pro which was still under warranty. I had some vertical lines on the screen. First I was told that they could change the screen for no charge and that would fix the problem. Then the agent decided to go inside and confirm with the technician . He returns and says the phone can’t be fixed and I’d have to get a new phone which will cost me $599. I decide to leave. I take the same phone to Highland village location and they fix my phone for no charge in one hour, no questions asked.I am surprised at the first colony location and how they tried to make money out of me offering no further solution. Never going back!!!

An the manager was beyond expectations. I came into the store upset after being on hold with Apple support for over an hour. Apple support insisted I come into the store to replace my AirPods after they didn’t work within two days of purchasing them. An went out of his way apologized for the miscommunication and further assisted me. I was able to exchange my AirPods and even though I was upset and didn’t have the best tone An looked past my frustrations and still had a smile on his face and assisted me. I apologize for my frustration An and THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! This is why Apple selected you for this position. It takes a strong leader and I am so pleased with how I was treated! THANK YOU AN again! The best service I’ve ever received compared to every location I’ve been to between Texas and California! You rock!!!

Prepare yourself to wait. This location is always super busy. Staff is very friendly yet always overwhelmed with the amount of back to back customers. Apple should open a larger location to accommodate the growing need in my opinion. You definitely need an appointment to visit this location.

AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!! Save yourself the trouble and time. Staff is extremely unprofessional and lazy. The guys who helped me were chit chatting for a good 20 minutes to themselves before they approached me and I was kept waiting for an extra 20 minutes because of that. It doesnt matter if youre a walk in or appointment, all clients should be treated equally. Period!! Made me waste my time just to tell me they werent able to help me. The guys whom were helping didnt even have the courage to tell me themselves that they were unable to help so they sent their supervisor over to tell me. How do you expect your employees to learn great customer service when they run away from the problems? NEVER. AGAIN. NEVER. AGAIN.

Customer reps were the best of help. So nice and friendly. My watch was still updating in their store and they waited till it was complete even if they already closed. Thanks so much. I recommend this location. They know what theyre talking about and are very polite and helpful. Thank you for such great customer service Apple. Happy customer.

Why offer something which you cannot or do not want to provide? I and currently at the Apple store using, one of their laptops at the First Colony Mall, have been standing 3rd in a line for over an hour at least. this line is something new and is specially made for customers who want to trade in a device for a new one. Seems like Apple does not want to do the trade ins but then why are they offering it? The two gentlemen ahead on me also do not seem very excited to be here. Or maybe it could just be the staff or management here as I have felt them talking about us in groups, more than once in the past hr., and purposely making us wait. During the past hr there have been times when several of the staff members have not been attending anyone but still they do not want to help us. When we inquired for help, They are directing us to call Apple directly for trade in devices. They have also informed us the Sales without trade and sales which require activations have a priority over Trade ins and that Is the reason that every time someone comes in is helped immediately and we have pushed further and further.Apple has a great product I just wish they had more eager helping management at the First Colony Mall.

I was going to buy my daughter a MacBook Air at this Apple Store today. I came in, and was shown to an employee who explained a certain college student discount. I did not have my student ID with me at this time, nor the gift card I wanted to use. I asked if I could use a picture copy of said cards but was declined. The store rep did not check how many MacBook Airs they had in stock. With that, we decided to go back to Katy (since this was the closest Apple Store near us) to pick up the cards and then back to Sugar Land we were headed. We spent almost an hour and a half on the road from Sugar Land to Katy and then back. Both times, we had to wait around 15 minutes to get into the store. And the second time, when we told the employees that we were planning on buying a MacBook Air, none of them told us they were out of stock. And so, we were paired with the same employee as the previous time, and only after we told him what color we wanted did he tell us that they had no MacBooks left (even the colors we didn’t want). He then proceeded to tell us we could’ve ordered online even though we asked him if we could do that the first time we came. When we asked him if we could provide the student ID code online, he said yes but earlier, when we asked him if we could show him a picture of the ID, he said we would need physical proof. In conclusion, the employees should check what they have in stock as well as warn their customers about online options. e. I was expecting more competent employees at Apple store but was very disappointed with my experience today.

The staffs not professionally trained. Walked in and all the staffs seemed busy and no one was in the status of greeting to new customers. For a long time (about 5 min?) I looked around and no one wanted make eye contact. I did not know whom should I talk to and how long I supposed to wait. After a few minutes of wondering around a display table, I had to interrupt a guy who was chatting to a lady, his Apple coworker, in a tone of feeling guilty. “Can I ask you a quick question”. The guy said no because he was serving another customer. I started walking out and the lady said what was your quick question......

We went early on a Sat. Morning about 30 minutes after opening, we only waited 10 minutes they sign you in and text you. Our guy was so nice and patient, multitasking with another customer and helping others while our equipment uploaded. I was impressed, was thinking it would be a whole ordeal and it was pretty painless.

While I use the tablets and iPhones made by Apple, I do not like their Apple watches. A product should yield more longevity at such a high price. After taxes we purchased one of the original Apple watches several years ago at just a little less than $400. It sat unused for the last two years and ultimately the battery went bad I believe. I tried some trial and error to get it working again but my efforts availed only frustration. I took it in and surrendered it for refurbishment and recycling at the store yesterday. I walked in and expressed my disappointment with their watch product. The salesman in the store did not really want to hear it. He pushed a couple buttons on his screen, accepted the watch, and I walked out. I don’t think I will ever buy another Apple Watch. The store was busy when I visited despite it being a weekday before business hours had hit the 5 p.m. point. Overall, I don’t like visiting the store to buy new Apple products or repair those that are broken or malfunctioning. Apple Care is overpriced in my opinion. After already spending a great deal on the devices, applications, and subscriptions it is just too much to afford Apple Cares. It is also better to buy your Apple accessories elsewhere because you will find they are very marked up in-store and purchased through the Apple website.

We went here and was told the wait was an hour and thirty minutes. Luckily we were able to speak with a person there who told us a way to reset the phone at home. Considering the size of Apple why are there like 5 of these stores in the city? .....Fulshear/Katy is growing hint hint

I mean, an apple store is an apple store. Very clean and organized, the staff is friendly enough, but could use a bit more knowledge of products they are selling. Other than that a pretty cool place if youre an apple head. 4 overpriced accessories out of 5. ( as I type on my note 9)
