I brought my car to Carfix Center because I received a coupon for an oil change and 77 point inspection. After about 15 minutes I was asked to look at my car and I thought, on no, they want to get me for something. What they showed me was a huge surprise. I had cords and steel sticking out on the inside of both of my rear tires. I couldn’t believe that this was overlooked just 2 weeks ago by another shop that did my state inspection. The service manager explained to me that many shops that do the state inspection just simply collect the fee without even looking at the car. I then recalled that during the state inspection, the other shop never even lifted my car to look at anything underneath. I just want to let people know that it is better to take your car to a reputable shop instead of an in and out shop. Don’t depend on that kind of place, they are not doing their job.
This is the first time I felt compelled to ever write a review. This is the worst “customer service” that I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Clearly, the manager needs training on how to respect people, especially women. I will never go back to this place of business, and I strongly advise that people take their business somewhere else.
Very bad, 1 tire pressure sensor and oil change 3 hours later on Mercedes GL450 2014 $440 had to bring a car home and reset tire pressure my self because they couldnt handle, and when owner i guess Fred say Honda and Toyota are the best cars i knew right away what Im working with my car is not going there anymore, pressure sensor maybe 15 min. oil change, lot of shops advertising in 10 min 3 hours), and i know you gonna try to answer me and tell me how Im bad person and i brought you junk car,
There’s a reason why they need to do free and discounted promotions. The manager’s chauvinistic and condescending attitude towards me and my mother greatly disappointed us as it was our first visit to this supposedly “place of business”. There is absolutely no reason to yell and disrespectfully ask “when did you get your license?” If you want recurring customers, check your attitude. No one should be treated this way, and I pity your employees who have to deal with this bull.Do yourself a favor and go to NTB.
Super clean, very informative and caring. I had my tires rotated yesterday and car was pulling a lot to right, we couldnt find any place that were able to do the alignment Saturday afternoon, they changed our air filters, now I can feel the air working better.
My first time being so compelled to write a Google review. Absolutely abhorrent. They tried to scam me out of almost $1000 in fixes that were irrelevant to the STATE INSPECTION that I brought it in for. (Failed 3 tires and insisted that the drive belts needed to be replaced in order to pass) Its also worth mentioning that I took it to Auto Check who then passed the car with no replacements necessary. When I asked them explain the failed inspection (with the state inspection guidelines presented to him on my phone), he replied with a scowl Im not going to spell it out for you. I do it so many times and I already told you what was wrong. 30 seconds later he then had the audacity to turn around, smile, and say alright, so we can knock it all out for you for ~$800.Garbage service, horrible attitude, and honestly a comical philosophy in regards to service. If I could give negative stars, I would.
I had 4 new tires put on and my truck alignment. The service was great and their knowledge is very professional. They corrected some alignment problems that another shop couldn’t fix.
Great place for car service. I took my car in for their $19.77 oil change special, and they really took care of my car. During the oil change they looked over my car and found that I had 2 tires in the front that were badly worn on the inside. The tire prices that were offered were good and I bought 2 tires. I’m so happy that these guys took the effort to look over my car, as I was leaving out of state the next day and could have had tire problems during my family’s trip. Thanks for everything, my husband and I will be repeat customers.
Jeremy assisted with my tire needing to be patched. Quick and efficiently done!No issues and straight up with labor/prices.Customer service was phenomenal
I arrived to Discount Car Clinic about 10 after 10. Before arriving, I called and asked to speak to a manager (because of a prior phone conversation) and the front desk associate insisted he could help me. Within the midst of Jeremy and Is conversation, I stated what kind of services I wanted to receive and asked was I going to receive an estimate of the labor. He responded yes with a condescending tone, and proceeded to book an appointment the same day I called.I arrive, greet Jeremy, and we become acclimated. Moments pass, Im then greeted by the man who Ive had a prior phone conversation with, Fred. I could tell by the voice. The three of us then go over what I want done, which was to have my spark plugs and cabin filter replaced. I brought my own parts and began showing them. I also mentioned how I had been experiencing some shaking as Im braking at an accelerated rate, and if they could help me understand why the vehicle was doing that.Within this particular conversation, both of the gentleman disapproved of the spark plugs. I questioned them on their reasoning, they explained as best as they could, and I took their advice into consideration. As a result, I decided I was just going to get the cabin filter changed and get a second opinion on switching them out.The intake of my vehicle was at about 10:30 AM, I didnt receive my vehicle back until 12:40-45 PM. Throughout my 2 1/2hr wait, Fred is periodically coming to tell me what may be going on with my vehicle while also suggesting *again* I go exchange my spark plugs. I gently declined and my response was reciprocated, seemingly. Then, a few more minutes pass, and he gestures me to go outside to take a look at what he found on my vehicle. As we walked back inside, I tried to ensure Fred and I were on the same page by asking for confirmation on the information I needed a detailed estimate, for the labor only, of 4 spark plug changes and a brake and rotor change. He said yes and he would get with Jeremy. For a final time, Fred strongly suggests I go exchange my spark plugs, then confirms with me if I want to get my cabin filter replaced. They finally switch out the filter. They bring the car around; I pay. After the staff misplaced my keys, I inquired about the estimate and Jeremy suggests I go retrieve the receipt he had just given me so he could presumably write down the labor price(s). When I returned back inside Fred is at the front desk, and he begins explaining to me how he did a lot of work and how he would normally charge people 200-250 for all the stuff [he] did. Then proceeds to say, I dont know. What is the issue you have? What, you want discount? What is it? We just put a filter on. What do you want?Throughout my entire experience, I was pleased with the interior setup, how they had two spacious waiting rooms; how polite, thorough, and gentle I thought Fred was. But with a snap of a finger, my experience here went from ambitious to disheartening. He went on and elaborated about how he did free work-when he attempted to identify an answer to my question-and finally stated, I cant go on like this, and proceeded to walk away from me in the middle of my statement. All I could say was Wow. I was so disappointed in this being the result of Fred and Is conversation. In my defense, if Fred wouldve explained to me how he needed to charge labor to help find my problem, then another conversation wouldve taken place. But he never mentioned that, and for him to throw it back in my face the way he did; I wasnt pleased. And it wasnt that I didnt want to do business at DCC, but I hated how I felt rushed to do repair work and how my thoughts were being dismissed before I could finish them.In addition to Fred being gentle, thorough, and polite, he was also overbearing, rude, and controlling. I wanted to inform someone else about my experience, in case you ever thought about stopping into Discount Car Clinic.
Very polite and professional. Nice and clean establishment!
Great place for oil change! These guys changed my oil and filter, 77 point check on my car, rotated my tires and even tested my battery for a total of $19.77 after taxes. They only offered this special on Tuesday thru Thursday, so I will have to switch cars with my wife next week since she can’t go in the middle of the week.
I had a very positive experience with this company they did not beat around the bush and they gave us the help we needed.
SCAMMERS!!!!! Everyone has to watch out for this place. My father in law went for oil change for his Nissan Rouge, and expecting about cost for $70. He doesnt understand English at all, and they robbed him. They claimed that they did other services for the car such as tire alignment and transmission flush. The car is less than 30K miles, and need transmission flush? They replaced the two front tires while it can last at least another 15K miles. They charged him more than $1,400 for services that he didnt request for. Who would expect more than $1,400 one time regular maintenance cost for a Nissan Rouge.I know he is not the first victim for this place, but I really want others to be aware the way they do business there so there will be no more victims.
They did a great job of diagnosing my check engine light and lost power issue in my Ford F-250 diesel truck. In and out same day, saved me time and money. I was going to the dealer, but every time there it takes days to get my truck back. I will recommend Carfix to my friends.
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I came in for a state inspection. It was quick and a painless experience.
Check engine light came on a few weeks ago. I took my car to dealer. After engine light was checked, they said catalytic converter and oxygen sensors need to be replaced. Dealer wanted to charge me $2,250. I declined the repair and I took my car to CarFix center “Magic Muffler”. They did all the work while I waited for just under $1,429. Thank you Jeremy. You earn a customer for life.
My boyfriend bought his 1996 For Ranger to Car Fix Center in Sugarland on March 3, 2021 for an oil leak and to find out why it was hard to start on a cold crank. After two days he was notified that the truck needed $1300.00 worth of work which he agreed. to. When he picked up the truck, it was still leaking and hard to start, so he took the truck back and was told that he needed more work which was $1465.05. He agreed to have the repairs done. After returning two times the oil leak was resolved but the truck is still hard to start on a cold crank. He returned a third and was told that it would cost $2,237.81. Guess what? still having a problem starting, He returned on March 31,2021 (FOURTH TIME) He was told that a diagnostic was done each time he returned the truck. He refused to deal with Jeremy and asked to speak to his Manager. Jeremy told him that Fred was his manager and the owner of the shop. Fred called my boyfriend and informed him that the head gasket was cracked. After my boyfriend explained he hadnt driven the truck because he couldnt get it started, Fred said that it was caused by the hard freeze and he should file a claim on his homeowners insurance. No ever mentioned a cracked head after any of their diagnostic testing. He spent over $5000.00 with this establishment and the truck is still not fixed. Total unacceptable!
I have been bringing my vehicles for years to this shop. They are honest, reasonable and trust worthy.
Excellent and friendly service and great prices on tires. Will definitely come back again.
I usually try to make an appt to get in and out but even if I dont, its still fast service! Good customer service!
Was really disappointed with last and FINAL trip to this shop. I ignored the reviews and took my car there. They tried to charge me a crazy amount just to look at my car with no info on what could be wrong or what to expect. I had to take my car somewhere else. Read ALL of the reviews on this shop before you take your car.
I like this place, convenient, close to home. Just dont like the wait time even tho the maintenance is minor.
People should absolutely avoid having work done at this establishment. Call for a quote before even making an appointment. You will see the prices are absurdly high, the customer service is nonexistent and the level of apathy is through the roof. Fred absolutely doesnt care if youre a customer or not. Ladies, dont even bring your car in for an inspection. As you can see by the many negative reviews this is not a place to go.
I had car service done here within two weeks ago and currently seeking correction on service the this business had done.
Ive have two of our cars serviced here and was very pleased with the quality of the work. What I appreciate most is the honesty of work needed. I found their pricing to be comparable for services performed.
I visited Car Fix first time a while ago to get my Chevy impala 2008 battery terminals replaced. The job was done right away without any delay and the charges were very reasonable. Also I was given discount being AAA member. Definitely recommend to my family and friends to visit them for any car issues.
I had an excellent experience, I called at 7am hoping someone would answer which they did!! I was in dire need of an alignment for my Cadillac. They assure me that wouldnt be an issue! It took as little longer then expected but the outcome was worth while! Thanks again!
Jeremy at Car Fix Center provides fantastic customer serviceJeremy at Car Fix Center is the best!! Hes honest, knowledgeable and very personable. I will absolutely return to Car Fix Center because of Jeremy!! I had two nails in my tires and Jeremy and his team responded quickly because I needed to catch a flight that day.Jeremy provides the type of customer service you would expect. Hes definitely build a loyal customer in me!
Horrible customer experience. Requested an afternoon appointment as my first choice because I live almost an hour away and figured it would be easier to stop by after work. I received an email back from Jeremy (manager) stating that they scheduled me for my backup time of 7:00am the following day. I wake up at 4:30 AM to ensure that I can prepare for work and arrive, on time, for my 7:00 AM appointment. I get there around 6:40 and there are no cars in sight. This alarms me, as the place is scheduled to open at 7:00 AM. I wait patiently waiting for someone to arrive. 7:00 AM comes and goes and nothing. Unfortunately, I had to leave in order to be on time for work. I write the manager, stating that I was disappointed that no one was at the center for the appointment that was an hour away from my home. He responded, a half hour later, that he was stuck in traffic due to an accident. This is unacceptable, as I (the customer) left my home early enough to be there on time (anticipating traffic issues). This is not a way to run a business and, based on your reviews, which I wish I had read prior to scheduling an appointment, you guys should seriously consider making changes or just closing your doors. I do not recommend this business to anyone.
Car Fix Center is the greatest and the largest family owned and operated facility I have ever seen. Their knowledge is beyond my high expectation and their workmanship is immaculate. Jeremy see you next time.
I am completely satisfied with Carfix Center. They were able to fix the problem with my BMW that another shop couldn’t resolve. I was referred by a neighbor and I will recommend them to others.
This place is a good place to take your vehicle I have a nice truck and they did a good job on the tire change as well as break flush also alignment. If something isn’t right they will also fix there mistakes Fred (the owner) he’s a funny guy but sticks by his word so thank you car fix and we will be seeing you next time around
At 1:46p I called Car Clinic to inquire a email address so that I could send a photo of the current problem with the car. Reason being the cars fuel pump was modified and exposed to 3 pieces of electrical cables soldered together and electrical tape that was peeling or had came off. Furthermore, they took a part that is primarily mounted at the bottom and re-directed it up into the cabin by drilling a hole through the floor board and running a rubber hose with the part right next to the pump. Finally, the hose is secured by zip ties, the fuel pump was tapped with an additional hose, the hose was not not secured on the pump, and the cables consisted of Work or home Orange, yellow electrical power cables that finished off with a thin black cigarette liter cable car plug. That being said now! Most feed was call first to see if they would even touch it.At Car Clinic a Rep by the name Fred answered the phone with a informal greeting then said hold. It sounded like he was busy and winded. After finally being able to ask for email, I was going to explain why and then reference conversation I had with another guy ( tall white guy w/ glasses and brown hair. Answer my all questions at that time and when I came back in town get back with him when I was ready or more questions. Instead, interrupts me just in be insulting and ask what is a pic going to do for me. He then adds with all his years being a mechanic and can work on anything, how do I even know the problem is the fuel pump. I would go on to get interrupted by 10 times with his vast amount of years being a mechanic, he can’t work on a picture, what knowledge do I have to indicate it is the fuel pump, do I own the pressure meter that would have told me it was the fuel pump, do I know what a fuel pump is and where it’s located. Fred’s consistent and condescending interruptions kept me from trying to explain why I just wanted to see if they could or couldn’t touch a car that is consider a fire hazard towed to there garage. Saving money, towing drive and work time.I urge the management to delegate phone duty to a more professional rep makes sure the client has had all questions answered and ensures repeat business going forward. An keep Fred in the auto-bay. Putting that vast mechanic experience to work for y’all.
I was just berated by the owner/manager for not buying windshield wipers as part of my state inspection. I thought he was joking at first when he said, Are you trying to prevent me from putting food on the table for my kids?. But then he continued, Why wont you buy the windshield wipers. Just eat cheaper food! Youre going to spend it on something anyways! Eat cheaper food and just buy the wipers. Look at all of this here. The guy who did your inspection is makes $30 an hour. Why wont you just buy the wipers here? Just eat cheaper food!. Are you kidding me?!! Your business is not my problem. If I could have given zero stars, I would have. Is there an option of negative one stars? Go to this place at your own risk, and be prepared to spend in order to feed the owners kids. Im never coming back.
Very pleased. Everyone is extremely polite, courteous, and quick to make you feel like you are their 1st priority. I have been going to Car Fix Center in Sugar Land for approx 6 years and would never think to go anywhere else. 95% of the time, I get my car back the same day!, They even provide shuttle service so you can get back home safely, or if you need to get to work in a hurry. I have never experienced anything less than top-notch service from Car Fix Center.
Wonderful customer service and knowledgeable repairs on my vehicle. Price quoted to me was better than the dealer and the larger competitor in the area that originally had my vehicle. I felt comfortable leaving my car with them, and actually had my car moved from where the diagnostic was done to this repair shop. They are also recommended by AAA car service and I was able to take advantage of the discounts afforded to me by having AAA.
Worst place of business. horrible customer service and the owners are very rude. you end up paying way over reasonable amount for their services.
I have been using car fix center to service both my cars - oil change and repair. They do quality work and are very reliable, have brought potential problems in the car to my attention and have helped prioritize the most pressing repair. I feel uncomfortable taking my cars for service, anywhere else!
I hate to give negative review. But I think I need to give a negative review at this time.My car need alignment since I replaced the tires. When I called this shop to request a quote, they gave me a quote that seemed to be reasonable. But when they started their checkup, they charged me additional 10+ dollars misc fees that was not on the original quote. In addition, they started to charge more on the rear wheel alignment because they claimed that the first quote was for front wheel alignment only. Eventually they charged me way more than the same service in other shops when I finally called a couple of other shops to compare.I think they are pretty deceptive and try to milk customers whenever possible. I hate to say bad words, but it is important to let others know what was going now for this experience.
Just so in love with Jeremy. Only trust him under my hood.
I truly love the crew, they are so courteous, so professional, and so honest. They are above 5 star!
This is by far the best place to have your car or truck repaired. Master Automobile Technician. ASE certified. They can do all factory warranty work. Gives you a free estimate upfront. They have been in the auto repair business for over 35 years. They are Honest, smart and reliable. They have worked on all my cars and trucks. Give them a call next time you need a repair.
Great New TireI went to Car Fix Center with a flat tire and a bad attitude. I left with a great new tire a big smile. I went to the Car Fix Center in Sugar Land, I was helped by Jeremy. He went above and beyond cordial help; he was an absolute delight and saved my day! He helped me get a brand-new tire at a discount price ($60 instead of $100!!!) and treated me better than any salesperson I have ever met. Now, I will never go anywhere else! Thanks Car Fix Center, especially Jeremy!
Welcome to the world of fake news and fake reviews that is damaging the fabric of our society today. I have been going to this repair shop for over 15 years. I have never had a negative experience, never been given bad service. They always fix my car right, are very professional and courteous. I have recommended this shop to my family and friends, and none of them have ever told me about a bad experience at Carfix Center. I just dont believe these 1 star nonsense lies about a good and honest repair shop.
Highly Satisfied. This place is a one of a kind auto repair shop, I mean its immaculately clean, inside and out. The customer service is the best I ever had at an auto shop, and the work is superior. I love these guys, they actually care about my time and my cars needs.
This was my first time using their service. I am a satisfied customer. And will definitely utilize their service again. As well as, refer my family and friends.
This place is willing to go above and beyond to satisfy the customer. I took my car in for an alignment after two other shops were unable to correct a right-hand pull, and the manager use all his experience to diagnose and correct the problem, even though it took at least 3 separate alignment adjustments. I would recommend taking your car here if you have a problem that no one else can fix, or just start here from the beginning.
1/18/2021 reply to owner claiming you guys fixed it at charge and the bent wiper happened because of the opened hood.First of all, no it was not replaced!! I had to get it fixed elsewhere. Also, it did not happen because of the hood. I was literally driving in the rain, and it randomly bent. And YES I still remember when this happened, so please don’t say otherwise. Terrible service and 3 years later you want to reply and claim it was fixed at no charge??Completely appalled with the manager Jeremy. I got my wipers done a month ago, and one of them went out a week later while I was driving. I just came to get it replaced and he wanted me to pay for when it wasnt my fault. Hes tried explaining how it wasnt a company defect and that someone bent it.Like who would bend my wiper? Seriously. He continued to mention how it wasnt his problem and wind doesnt bend metal. Well yes I know this. So explain to me how it was bent a week after I had it done?
I just moved to Sugar Land and I am so happy I found a auto place like Car Fix (Jeremy). Really nice people and you can tell that they care and appreciate your business. I definitely be back.
I went to replace oil on my car and the service was timely and professional. I recommend Car Fix Center highly!!!!
In my way to a graduation a few weeks ago, my tire went real low. Stopped here and they inspected and patched it up for next to nothing. Super nice inside to wait in too. Jeremy was pro - Great customer service. I told him Id oost the good review so here I am. If I lived in the area, Id go here for my car problems.
THE AUTOMOTIVE SHOP IS ONE OF A KIND. IT IS IMMACULATE INSIDE AND OUT. IT IS THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE SERVICE ADVISOR WAS POLITE. I WAS QUOTED FAIR PRICES AND THE QUALITY OF THE REPAIR WAS OUTSTANDING. I WILL RETURN FOR ALL OF MY REPAIRS.
I went in for a free AC check. Jeremy was very honest and upfront that my car didnt need any service and that the AC was working fine.I recommend these guys.
Great Service Fair Prices!!!
Last time I came to car fix centre I found the work was done honestly and perfect and person on reception named Jeremy was nice guy has reviewed and followed up very wellI was satisfied with their work so have come again for oil change with oil filter the mileage I got 5000 @ $ 37 for synthetic blend
Take all my cars here for anything I need! Excellent service! Good pricing!
When you need service or tires this is the place to go. I needed tires that others do not stock. These guys had them and mounted them right away. The customer service is GREAT
Took in my BMW. Jeremy was a great to work with. He took great care in fixing my BMW and I have no issues with it at all. Thanks so much
My husband Benito Garcia and I always have a pleasant experience here. The staff is well informed.Jeremy is a delight.
Great customer service and good quality work
Wait a $150 for just putting pads on my 2007 Handa Civic is outrageous. Called this other dealer they told me $50. Who you guys think you are at vhf the nash car 5000.
I was visiting my parents over the weekend and had issues with my brakes. I went to this place to have them evaluated and potentially fixed there if it was bad. I knew the brakes were probably bad as I started to hear grinding. They openly express that there is a charge to see the vehicle. They then took over an hour to look at my brakes. For those not familiar, this is a process that takes literally minutes for a garage/shop. Without showing me the problem, they put the vehicle back together and ran a quote of over $700! This is outrageous as I drive a Honda Fit. After this I have no further desire to want to do business here. I ask for the vehicle and he then proceeds to tell me that no one will fix it for less, and stands by his pricing. But within min offers a discount of 10%. When I ask him what the new total would be, he said $670. Im not sure where my math falls short, but 10% of $700 to me would be a new total of $630. I no longer wish to even speak with anyone at this shop at this point.I take my car to the brake shop (Brake Check) right behind this place. The guys there say to pull it in the shop and they lift it and show me the brakes within 10 min. The store manager is telling me how he would fix it and quotes me for less than $350. He even gives me a fair understanding of why I shouldnt pay for the most expensive brake pad as it only provides additional warranty not performance. Im trying not to provide a biased account here, decide for yourself.
Excellent service and excellent people. From pre purchase inspections to any types of repairs, I’ll be taking all of my cars here from now on!
This place needs to give me 5 stars for just stopping by, they dont deserve 1 star. Todays date 10-29-17, Please READ ALL REVIEWS, YOUVE BEEN WARNED!The reviews here speak for themselves.First of all let me start out by saying that this place is a joke, trust me when I say that the only MAGIC these people do is make your money disappear!!!!!I dont want to tell you my whole story it would take to long seriously. Brake job that was suppose to be 1200 cost me 2500 and kept truck for 3 days, need I say more. When we went to pay Jeremy, we tried to pay with company check which he declined saying we were from out of town, OK Understandable, but then he said to take the check down cash it and give him cash LOL. Not good for the owners, sounds like a scam, he was really persistent on my guys doing this, we refused, so we paid with a credit card, but still felt as if we were getting scammed from all angles, UGH!Took his bill and truck down the street 1 mile away they said we had been scammed and they said they get there customers all the time.We were leaving, The mechanic in the back was really apologetic, he said this happens all the time. Ive been in business 26 years and have never been treated this way or felt so scammed. My advice is to turn your head even when you drive by!!!!!Peace
Beware of fake reviews! Forty 5 star reviews in the past month, preceded by a string of only 1 star ratings in the years before that, including a few from reputable local guides. Something doesnt smell right.
Excellent service and good price. Service Wrighter was very courteous and prompt.
This place is a rip-off and technically incompetent. I took my 2013 BMW 335i there for an alignment in July 2015. The service reps name is Ed. He charged me $240 total for an alignment saying that my car has some electronic steering bullsh*t that needs to be reset so it was $70 more than regular alignment. After the alignment the car was still pulling to the right. So naturally like many car shops they blamed it on my tires. Anyway they took the car back, swap the front tires and did more adjustments. The car was better but then it was still pulling to the right a little bit. Its not the road slope. I know this because it was quite obvious pull. To add insult to the injury I later learned that there is no electronic steering for 2013 BMW 335i. It is all hydraulic. The fact that Ed lied about this and they could not get the job done right made me not want to go back there again to fix the problem. I went to BMW of West Houston and paid $199 total and they got it right the first time. Dont go to this shop! Yes they have nice leather couches, free soda, and sales rep that talks big like he knows everything. Run for your life!
I filled-out a quote to get my car fixed. (A 24-hour wait before someone could answer me back) It went past that time and I still havent heard from them. It shouldve been answered way before the 24-hour time limit to be considered good customer service. I hate to see the type of service they do my vehicle. They must have a manager with no good customer service desire. They lost a customer.
No choice turn out the best choice! I was on my way from Houston to a business meeting in Missouri city when my tire warning light come on. The tire pressure came down suddenly and I saw Carfix Center and quickly turned into their driveway. The manager came out and looked at my tire and showed me that the tire was ruined by a utility knife that I have run over. The place was very busy and I was in a hurry to get to my meeting, so they gave me a ride to my meeting and picked me up when it was over. While I was at my meeting the mechanic had replaced my tire and the shop honored my road hazard. I was extremely impressed with their service and their help at getting me to an important meeting. I was truly grateful to have the good fortune of my tire failing at just the right place to get it replaced. I really think miracles do happen.
I have been dealing with this place for a while you can trust at this shop they no what there are doing and for a fare price.........Thank guys keep up the good work
I have been coming to Car fix for over 7 years. I always got the outmost service, respect and great value. I will never consider to go anywhere else.
Horrible service! Went in for a routine oil change and tire rotation on a fleet vehicle. Told them I was in a hurry and couldnt wait long. I was assured that it would be taken care of quickly. Got the keys back 3 hours later!!
Bad customer service. Went in and waited 30 minutes to be helped. No one even asked what I needed so I left. The guy at the counter was taking his time with another customer. Asking her about her private life while Im waiting in line to get an estimate on getting my truck fixed. Got tired of waiting and left. No wonder why there was no one else in the waiting room. How are they going to have business if they dont bother to ask if they can help you?
Honest and courteous . Services are provided in a Timely manner. Everyone has been a pleasure to do business with
I had been looking for a car place for awhile where I can take my vehiches to have work done without fear of being ripped off. I was referred to Carfix by someone. I my van in last week to have some work done on it and today I took my car in to have the oil changed. They are professional and friendly with great customer service. So far I dont have any complaints.
FRAUD ALERT!!! It is a big rip-off. I went for state inspection, two different ppl kept insisting me that I need a tire change. Asked $1100 for that. Obviously I said no. took almost 2 hours for oil change and state inspection. Eventually I took my car and it cleared state inspection easily as my car is fairly new and have less than 25000 miles on it.DO NOT EVER GO THERE, DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP, FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWTHIS SHOP IS A FRAUD. HE OWES ME $25 FOR FAKE STATE INSPECTION.
Did good job
Let me start by saying that I worked several years as a service advisor for a local dealership in the past. That being said, I am very particular on who I let work on my vehicle.Upon driving up to Discount Car Clinic I did see the $19.77 oil change sign. Not that I needed to know, but the service advisor did actually look up the recommended oil for my particular vehicle according to the manufacturers specifications. I have been to other shops before that just try to put in the bulk 10w30 oil, assuming that all customers are just cheap. I was actually able to watch them open brand new quarts of Mobil 1 Full Synthetic motor oil and put it into my vehicle. As for the shop itself, hands down, the most beautiful shop in the area. They have two lobbies with flat screen televisions, leather sofas and chairs, wi-fi access, gourmet coffee, free beverages and plenty of reading material. They even have a kids play area with toys. The bathrooms are extremely clean and spacious, and best of all they have four, not just that unisex closet that most shops call a restroom. The service was great. I know some people are turned off by sales people, but the crew here did their job. I did not feel any pressure and they did not force me to buy anything. They did advise me of services that were needed and the scheduled maintenance that was coming up. As for the prices, they are on par with other MAJOR shops in the area. I am not the kind of customer who will go to a LESSER shop just to save a buck. I prefer to deal with a shop with knowledgeable employees and state of the art equipment. My overall experience was great. I personally prefer to give my business to a local business man over a corporation or chain, so this shop was just what I was looking for. It is hard to find a small business owner who does things the right way. I am just glad I finally did. Thanks guys!!
Bad service, husband took my car for possible service. They “inspected” the car by driving it up & down, waste gas. Waste of time, nothing was done. $45 charge for absolutely NOTHING! Please don’t waste time with these people.
My mistake dint read the earlier reviews. Similar experience went to get the state inspection done and was told to change the windshield wipers on an almost brand new car. After refusing I received a response saying your going to drive back and come back its just more work for you do it now. These guys are here to just take your money, do your self a favor and stay away. The worst customer service.
Worst place to take your car. overpriced. makes promises they cant keeps. owners seemed to be under the influence and kept changing the prices of the services. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!
Did not like the fact that i was given a price for a tire and then it changed. Also just read a multitude of bad reviews. Hmmmm? I might need to rethink this, i thought i had found a reputable auto center. Hmmm?
Huge rip-off. My elderly mother noticed a nail in her tire, so she stopped on her way to work to get it taken out and plugged. One hour and $33 later, she was totally ripped off. They totally intimidated her when she asked why it was so much. They said they charged her for a plug and patch kit and and said they had to balance the tire. My father was furious and my elderly mom feel like an idiot. Horrible experience. She told everybody at work and they all took notice of the name of the establishment and are warning all their friends and clients.
Came here to get my rusted exhaust fixed, the guy welds like a machine. Exhaust looks better than factory and they were very friendly. Would definitely come back again.
Great State Inspection. Quick turn around.
They have the worst customer service, they lied, took my money and never fixed a thing. I hate to give them even 1 star.
I took my car in to determine the cause of my ac not working and they did a great job! I have ice cold air!! Thanks to all.
They always find something else wrong and service takes too long! 2 hours for an oil change!
Big ripoff, they advertise for 59.99 for wheel alignment but when you go there he charges hidden fees will ended up with more than dealership prices. I have two cars; one car Honda Accord I did with CarFix due to save some money compare to dealership were offering 79.99+tax while car fix 59.99+tax I send my wife to dealership for her car toyota prius alignmentWhen I dropped my Honda at carfix he called me after 10min and asked to get adjustment of rear wheels too which cost me 30 dollars so ended with 110 dollars plus in totalsame service with all four wheel alignment and same procedure at dealership 79.99+tax only which was under 84 dollarsbe careful of carfix scam
Never go here... Ever! Theyll just up sell you by breaking something or dumping sand into your airbox and say you need a new air filter. How do I know? I just changed my gfs air filter and the very next day... Less than 24 hours and 2 miles, magically a handful of dirt and sand ended up in the air box! This place operates by scamming customers. Just dont.....EDIT: and now I get a response a $15 air filter doesnt cover their cost. Lets just say my dad went there to get his car inspected and magically, he also needed a new air filter from their free inspection. My dad is a mechanical engineer and is very meticulous with every car my family owned. Since the inspection is something he couldnt do, he went to the closest place before consulting me. After my dad declined the air filter replacement, what do you know, theres now sand in the air box.... AND someone left a 10mm under the hood. Just because you have been in business for 15 years doesnt mean you dont take advantage of people or have poor management (example: Sears... Blockbuster). Either way, always decline the free inspection or youll be paying for a $15 air filter (actually my gf was quoted $30 and my dad $35) is just a scam. I feel pity for those that read these fake 4/5 star reviews.
I went here to do vehicle inslection and was told that I have to replace wiper balde first ! Dont go here and find another place! No wonder they have all 1 star, i would give them -5!
I went there to get my Ram 3500 dually truck aligned. They kept insisting that I was missing something for them to get it aligned. They then charged me $200 just to align by hand without the machines. A few months later I had to get all new ball joints and tie rods and front tires because they completely ruined my truck
Will never go back .. very bad experienceNo customer service and no skillsAre they a BBB member?
This place is a HUGE RIP OFF. Discount car clinic my ass. Go to a reputable chain. I paid $430 in labor for engine coil replacement, $251 for the 3 engine coils and $47 for the spark plugs $72.50 labor for pcv valve 101.50 fuel induction cleaner, some more things that were a little high but alot more reasonable than $430 for labor to remove a couple of nuts seems crazy stupid my bill ended at $1700 with all the so called disxounts that were d with little sneaky charges for small things that were never fully explained to me before being done. I wouldnt recommend this shop, and i wish I had seen the previous reviews smh keep driving.PS NOW HERE A WEEK LATER MY Ac has gone out and my car is misfiring and showing a bad reading from one of the coils supposedly replaced complete ripoff
Took my truck in for tire repair and right out of the shoot the floor manager argued with me about how much pressure should be in my tires. Once I clarified that on manufactor suggested PSI they took my truck in. When my truck was pulled around and after I paid I noticed that my gage said my tire was still 10lbs low. I pulled my truck back around and found the young man who had worked on my truck. I told him that I needed more air in my tire and that it was still low. The young man filled my tire and I asked him what he had found. The young man said there was nothing in the tire and that it was just low and he cleaned all the rocks out of the tread. The next morning my tire was down in pressure again. I took it to a different shop where I visually watch them take my tire off and found the leak, fixed the tire and only charged me $8.I do not recommend this business. They are in to big of a hurry to get you in and out wether the job is done correctly or not! Plus the floor manager is less than desirable to talk with!
Wish I would of looked at the reviews before I came here! I came here to get my check engine diagnosed and they failed to diagnose my car right after 3 times... And I had to pay for the cost everytime totaling $3800? For there screw up its not right! I tried to reason with the service manager and fred the owner overhearing jumped in and his attitude got so out of hand his own poor wife had to step in to calm him down, customers were stunned as much as I was and my kids were very scared, but I didnt feel the sense in arguing rather look as the role model i am in front of my kids and walked off while he was yelling at me! he was so ugly he reminded me of trump lol and wouldnt even budge he robbed me Im a hard working man with a family to support! Looks can be deceiving the shop looks like an a-1 shop but its far from that. I can say he cheated me bad very dishonest place I reported him bbb so check mate fred!I
Replaced the battery in our 350 RX in less than 3 hours.
