I recently volunteer for this Salvation Army and Lt Simmons and his wife and the whole entire staff made me feel like home and welcoming it was a joy and inspiraration be there and experience the work they do for the community and everyone is welcome.Thank You Lt.Simmons

The Salvation Army is all about meeting human need without discrimination.

This office is nice, new, fresh and clean. The staff there is all great so far. I appreciate all they do. They are very helpful and knowledgable.

Prices are skyrocketed and discount went down. Prices are ridiculous. Too many competitors to have prices this high. Will not be back until they get back down to reality

Theres 1 lady that works here everyone says shes mean. The court is great. Gotta call your game, alot of the everyday people will run you off the court. Dont let them

Overall the staff at this location are friendly, compassionate and seem to really care about the community.

Not what it used to be. Very immature pastor stationed there now. Capt. Anthony is a very self indulged narcissistic person. Not really interested in helping the congregation. Doesnt make himself available to the people who may need a listening ear or to the pop people who may have complaints about issues in the church. Since theyve ( the new pastor and wife) been there many people have been let go from the staff. Leaving Keona in charge of the children . She tries but cannot do the job. Sometimes they just send everybody home because she gets angry . The kids come to youth group with expectations of having dinner, activities and worship. Shell be upset because she says she cant control them and just end everything. No food no fun no message. Its sad for the children.

Mrs. Al & the receptions is very unprofessional & have a nasty way of talking to people. They have favoritism to the Suffolk people only, although they provide services for other areas that gives least funding thats supposed to be treated equally. Theyre not considered of a person needs as if each day, year, minutes or seconds doesnt change but remains the same. Also that each person needs & living standard are different. They will help people if not refer you to other organizations but will also belittle you to organizations. Im sure people wouldnt come to them if they didnt really need their help or is trying to get out of their situation but everything is a process & everyone is trying to maintain their living & health. Every bit helps & its good to have resources to prevent situation from happening to people. You never know whos shoes you may have to walk in by mistreating people.

The love from this place is awesome. The services received are great. I am glad to be close by.

Many many years ago salvation army helped me and my family with food and money for gas while my husband was waiting for a long overdue unemployment check. Thank God for the salvation army!
