I had some water damage restoration work completed in my basement. The work was completed, but not totally to what I asked/paid for. Instead of sealing the cleaned areas with a white coating of sealant, they used a clear coat product, leaving the area looking like nothing had been done. I had to go reseal the entire area myself, increasing my costs and time spent doing work I felt I had already paid for.The company is reputable, and I would probably use them again, but would make sure that all the specifics were in writing to ensure satisfaction for the cost of the work requested.

We have used Servpro several times, and they were always on time, professional and courteous. They did two large jobs while we went on vacation. I had no problem trusting them to be in our house alone. We came back and everything was in place, including a large island and new flooring. Everything looked good as new. Special thanks to Justin, who was in charge of the projects. We could not be more pleased.

UPDATE to review- We have had a few licensed contractors come to quote to fix the tile work that is even worse now. I will add more pictures. They have all been completely baffled that a company could get away with such HORRIBLE work. We took a grinder to a cracked area to see the work behind... Durock sheets not even taped and zero waterproofing. I have no idea how this is viewed as okay. Oh... and a price tag of 7k to fix their junk work. I will update again soon when we tear out the tile. We fully expect to find treasures behind the walls and on the floor.We purchased a residence that ServPro completed work on more than once. All of the work was initiated by the previous owner who never lived on site to see the work in progress or in person. My issue is with a bathroom leak that ServPro worked on more than once. They had to work on the bathroom a second time because it was still leaking. They cut out the flooring underlayment by the shower, did not fully replace it, and covered the area with vinyl flooring. The vinyl flooring was installed close to an inch under the shower tile (you can see from the pictures) and the area was sealed with trim. This caused area to remain moist, develop mold and degrade the subfloor even further. We discovered the issue when we were renting the house before purchasing. The previous owner provided proof of service and asked that ServPro fix the issue. The contractor that ServPro used for our house was working on a different house repair before we closed and we showed him the issue. He took pictures of the mold and said that he sent them to management and said that management would look at it when they came to look at the work that was occurring at the time. No one came to look at the bathroom or the recent repairs that were poorly completed. I began calling and e-mailing more frequently at the end of August to get this situation resolved. I have called the store many times with no call back. On 9/1/2020, I finally messaged the owner (after being told that he does not work on site and was not available to talk to on the phone). I sent him videos of the current situation of our bathroom along with my phone number and I have called to management or the owner with no call back. The pictures of my bathroom are proof enough that there was improper/incomplete work done. I am not a professional contractor, but I have owned multiple properties and what I see in the bathroom is an unfinished job. I have never owned a house where flooring was installed 1 inch under the shower. They also went through the master closet to look for leaks and mudded over the closet shelving support. That is not the quality of work any company should endorse. Regardless of who initiates a warranty repair, this issue should be fixed without me having to resort to negative reviews on the internet, a DPOR complaint and a BBB complaint.

Had SERVPRO of Suffolk come out for a dishwasher leak that had gone on for a while causing quite a bit of damage to my rental property. Their guys were out and had the situation under control within hours. Appreciate the timeliness and professionalism of your team.

We had a pipe burst in our home. Once insurance was called we were told ServPro would be there within a 4 hour window. They were there in less than that. They immediately got started, wasting no time. We live in another state at the moment and they were very informative and helpful with us and our tenants. Definitely would recommend them should you need this service.

I went online to set an appointment to check for a possible mold issue, and the follow up from Servpro of Suffolk/Smithfield/Franklin responded promptly, came quickly and could not have been more professional. I was left with the impression that this is a very honest, competent company, which is not always the case in this industry. Highly Recommended

Had a busted pipe that flooded the house while we were in town, called Servpro and they were there in 1 hour with all the proper equipment to start the drying process and mitigate the damage. Justin Shomaker was my Field representative and did a awesome job working with insurance adjuster and over seeing contractor support that completed all the work on the house from top to bottom. All I had to do was pick colors and sign the insurance checks... it was one of the smoothest operations Ive seen in a long time with respect to a disastrous situation.
