Terry altered my wedding dress for me and I could not imagine trusting my dress with anyone else! She is professional, trustworthy, kind, and very talented! My dress was not ideal for my body shape seeing as the bodice of the dress was short, and I have a long torso. It kept slipping down my chest no matter how tightly it was clipped onto me. I was so worried that I would be pulling my dress up every 2 minutes on my wedding day, but Terry was a miracle worker. She went into the bodice and added an elastic band that synched around my waist and made a few changes on the inside that ended up keeping my dress exactly in place. She had to do several alterations to get it perfect, but she kept at it and I could not have been more pleased (and relieved!) with how it all turned out. Considering the challenges that the dress posed, Terry booked me extra appointments to make sure it fit me perfectly for my big day. And it did! I could not have asked for a better experience with her as a tailor and would give her 6 stars if I could!

Terry is so wonderful to work with. She a skilled seamstress, and she also has the eye of a designer. In addition to making the fitting alterations I needed, she helped find other small changes to make the dress look even better. In addition to hemming the gown, for example, I wanted the skirt to fall more gracefully, so Terry removed some of the layers of tool underneath. She took in the bodice and shortened the dresss straps as well—even though it had intricate lace and beading, you wouldnt know shed made any changes. Finally, I loved how she bustled the dress; it looked so elegant for after the ceremony. All along the way, she asked tons of questions to understand the look I was hoping for and offered guidance where I needed it. She was meticulous about every detail and attentive to making sure my dress looked beautiful but was also comfortable to wear for both the ceremony and reception afterwards. I loved my gown when I picked it out, but Terry helped me make it absolutely perfect.

Terry is incredible! She altered my wedding dress and it came out beautifully. She is very reasonable and talented. Would highly recommend!
