Had an emergency septic tank overflow and Paul Kowalsky came and did and excellent service and a great PROfesional job and Mario the tank guy was an great employee and had a great personality as well ..love the service and the gentlemen did a wonderful job and was very explanatory

I called on a Saturday morning and was able to get a 1:00 PM appointment. Cookes office called 30 minutes before appointment and advised the tech would be there at 1:00 PM. The service tech Nick arrived on time, listened to my issue, and went right to work. Nick was very personable and new what the likely cause of the problem was. Nick had the problem resolved in no time. Nick is a great representative for the company, and is one of the reasons I will recommend Cookes.

We called Cookes when we had a bathroom leak and werent sure if it was a plumbing or septic issue, as their technicians are experienced in both. Brenda, who helped on the phone was great and sent Anthony out right away. HE WAS TERRIFIC! Great attitude, knowledgeable, went right to the source of the problem, explained our options, and ensured us wed be up and running before he left. He called Kevin who came out with the septic truck and the two of them fixed our problem quickly, professionally, and both had such great dispositions. We tried to tip Anthony, who refused it, knowing we had an expensive repair that day. They made a stressful situation so much easier and I will definitely use Cookes for any future plumbing & septic service.

Our kitchen sink was making a gurgling noise when the washing machine was running and we assumed it was related to our septic tank. I called Cookes in the morning and by the afternoon Nicholas and his partner arrived right on schedule. They both provided excellent service! Nick showed us everything throughout the process of pumping and cleaning our septic. He was exteremely knowledgeable and professional. Very positive experience.

Needed septic system pumped out and Anthony Z. was the Diagnostic Technician. He was fantastic!! Very professional and answered all of my questions. He explained things as he was trying to find my septic tank. Once found, I could tell that he knew exactly what he was doing. Milton F. came with the big truck to pump out the septic. Cookes Plumbing is our go to plumbing company! We have a few commercial properties and when we have needed a plumber, they have been so quick and reliable! We have worked with Anthony and request him when we call because he truly exceeds expectations when it comes to customer service. You can always count on him to call and explain the issue and also what he is going to do to repair it!

Fast response time, actually came a day early. Andrew is professional and knowledgeable. He showed up and was able to answer my hundreds of questions and repair all my indoor plumbing issues. Did not diagnose the problem. Did not clean out relevant waste correctly. Just water on top.thanks to another individual I now have TWO operational septic. The second cooked completely missed. The price for clearing the two septics and repairing same was less than half the price of that which they quoted me for one! All it took was someone who knew what they were doing.

I moved to Hobe Sound about a year and a half ago and purchased a home with a septic tank. I needed to have my septic tank serviced and called Cookes Plumbing. I have never dealt with a more professional plumbing company in my life. These guys did an outstanding job! Anthony, Ralph and Milton were incredibly professional, informative, understood my concerns and addressed them all without hesitation. Hiring any trade company is always scary because frankly you never know what to expect. Its all about hiring the right people and they got right with these guys. I would call them in heartbeat for anything related to plumbing or septic. Seriously, outstanding experience from start to finish!

Was told I would receive a free estimate for my septic issue- they could not give me a price without knowing tank size. In order to figure out tank size the plumber has to dig up area on top of septic tank. The plumber then proceeds to tell me it’s our drain field. Ok.. so in the city of PSL the county must take over once it’s drainfield related. The plumber tells me it would be over a year before they can hook up city sewer- so he says for $1600 he can clear my drainfield and get me by for the next year. My husband wanted to make sure we weren’t getting screwed so we declined services that day. They charge me $143 for “digging up the area on top of tank” which they would have had to do regardless to quote me a price.. and they told me it would be a free estimate. Come to find out almost 3/4 of my street is already on city sewer and it takes about 3-4 months for hookup- NOT a year. Thanks Crooke’s for trying to get over on us. I’m glad we’re only out $143 and not $1600. Would not recommend this company.

I have now used Andrew at Cookes three times. He is fabulous! Excellent workmanship and very informative. Cant say enough about the scheduling and office staff. Truly a remarkable experience start to finish.

I just bought a house, and I wanted to swap out the old rubber hoses on my washing machine with new, no burst hoses. This was purely preventative. I wasn’t having any problems with the machine; I just wanted peace of mind. The plumbers from Cooke’s came out on a Friday (after leaving me waiting around until 4pm, but that’s another story). The following Sunday, I did a load of laundry, the first since the service. My laundry room and garage started filling with water because a hose had come loose from the washing machine. I called Cooke’s to come fix their shoddy work, and the lady I spoke to refused to dispatch anyone unless I agreed to pay a $180 “emergency service fee.” She told me that if the plumber came out and determined they were at fault, we wouldn’t be charged. I agreed, and the new plumber came out. He took one look at the machine and said it was clearly their fault. He said the previous technician was a trainee, and had failed to reattach the hose properly. He went back in his van to call his manager, Carlos. When he came back, he told me that Carlos insisted he still charge us the emergency fee, even though the plumber said he disagreed with charging us. This place is such a scam. They do lousy work and then extort you for “emergency fees” to fix what they broke. If I could give negative stars, I would.

I cannot speak highly enough about this company. We were stood up by another company and they came out to pump our septic tank the same day. Michael our technician was absolutely amazing he was super friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable. I would recommend anyone who needs anything septic related definitely use them!

Michael and Dustin were out early to address our septic drain issues. Michael was very thorough in explaining what was happening and why we needed a new drain field. Florida Man Strikes again! (Unfortunately with the character limit I cannot include our previous experience and how wonderful and honest Michael C. has been during numerous service calls. He’s gone so far out of his way to help us with an on-going issue that I felt compelled to insist “Florida Man” be reinvented to properly reflect people like Michael who really go above and beyond!)__I recently had to followup with Michael C. about an ongoing situation that he has been so gracious in helping us tackle! With our “weird plumbing” as it has been dubbed by many people, we knew we had to keep an eye on it and be diligent about maintenance for our septic system. When our usual solutions weren’t working, I reached out to Michael about a warranty certificate that I had come across from early 2019 that was showing as still valid until Feb 2021. He spoke with his manager Carlos and they were wonderful in working together to honor the warranty that was given before the companies merged last year. Michael and Carlos showed up the next morning to Harben Jet all of the vent stacks in our home in a very efficient timeline. They were careful with our shake shingle roof and were in and out in no time. Michael also suggested some products that they carry and produce themselves at Cookes that could help address the problem. Michael and Carlos were wonderful as always, helping us with our ongoing issues, offering great suggestions of available company made products, and saving us a ton of money in the process. Reinvented Florida man strikes again! :)

We had a another very complicated situation and Andrew planned and executed a precise plan with great results! He was very professional, friendly and reassuring throughout the whole process. Andrew was extremely patient, having to dedicate a lot of time to cleaning concrete out of our water pipes; I am sure others would have walked away! He cut and repaired the pipes and restored our sewer system!

Justin and Nick were sent out to repair our leaking toilet in our office and they were very professional and explained in detail what needed to be done. Michael and Frank came out to my home to check on my septic system. I had not had it serviced since moving here and had only had sewers in my previous homes. Had a sump pump in my septic replaced. Will did a fast and thorough job to replace my lift pump that a previous contractor installed incorrectly and it burnt up. They were able to come with 16 hours of being called unlike many others who were 10-14 days out for a service call.

Tech Stephen Holbrook was extremely courteous. Explained everything thoroughly both to myself and to my husband over the phone. When everything was done and put back in place he again explained what had been done.

Called at 6PM on a Saturday and the very competent and friendly woman who answered was able to schedule next day service on a Sunday for a blocked sewer pipe.Technician Robbie B. arrived on time and carefully explained what needed to be done and proceeded to get to the issue and clean out the root blockage in the sewer line. He worked very professionally and deliberately and stuck with the job despite several setbacks requiring heavier cable machines. Overall very satisfied and would recommend this company to anyone.

I do not recommend Cookes Plumbing, at least not by the present owner at this time- which is November 2020. Theyll give you a snow job.My advice to you is; If youre going to use Cookes plumbing, dont simply trust anything they say- and, stand there watching them do their job. Please heed the dozens of other reviews here mentioning the high-pressure sales tactics used by the technicians at Cookes (This should be a hint.). Wish I had read them prior. We too called for a simple pump out, but youll be sure to receive a couple of knocks on your door to hear about all the problems with your system, which will ultimately result in a quote for a complete system replacement. We declined. It didnt help that the techs were working in the dark (after arriving so late in the day) and ruptured my sprinkler line due to careless digging. When I noticed the damage a couple of weeks later, the service manager dispatched a couple of technicians to fix the sprinkler head, who only made matters worse by cross threading the sprinkler head cap, which then caused 20 minutes of flooding the drain field every night. Accident? Intentional? Suffice to say, there are a lot of apologies here on Google from the company, but its interesting to note the same complaints over and over again as time passes. I suppose if your tactics of taking advantage of folks (who can be pressured, scared, and duped into unnecessary services) are working, why change your business model? Make no mistake - this is a sales company; not a service one.

When I called Cookes they answered the call promptly and courteously. They called me the next day to make sure the time was convenient. My service pro was Justin Toth. He was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. He came first to inspect my septic (free of charge) and offered me 3 options for taking care of my problem. He had another truck here quickly and they took care of the job quickly, but very efficiently. He did an excellent job and when the job was complete, he showed me pictures of the inside of my tanks. He is a definite asset to Cookes. I also have to add that since a new company has taken over, I see a vast improvement in the service.

Yesterday my water pressure in my home was very low and the dial on my water meter was spinning out of control. There were no other visible signs of a leak. No one I called had the equipment to search for such a leak.Cooke’s plumbing was the 3rd company I called. Andrew arrived and was the first person to actually hunt around for the leak with a leak detector. He found it which turned out to be a leaking water main underneath my pool cool deck. He was mindful and relatively certain how to approach repairing with minimal damage. He arrived this morning...dug under the cool deck and repaired the pipe without disturbing the cool deck or surrounding plants. Thank you for your help Andrew, it was a pleasure working with you.

This is the septic company to use! I was between accurate septic and Cooke’s(due to all the reviews I read)but definitely made the right choice. Accurate might be cheaper but doesn’t provide the quality this company does!Will was very informative,honest and hard-working. This was beyond a fantastic service. I called Friday mid afternoon and they were able to send someone out that same day as well as give us a 30 minute window. Our technician Justin came to our house and I explained to him what was going on and right of the bat he told us what we going to be looking for. Technician works with a sense of urgency from the time the van pulled in. Robert Foley was an expert and effective in his knowledge and skills combined. I never leave reviews but this service and particularly this guy deserves it and some. Highly recommended. Call these guys if you want it done right and fast on the first time around.

I tried 2 different Angies List recommended companies and got zero response. I saw a Cookes truck on the road and called them. The operator was really nice and helpful and asked if I would like someone sent right away. (It was after 2pm on a Friday). I said Saturday morning was fine instead. Justin came out that next day and replaced my septic lid in under an hour. He was was nice and professional. Thank you to Justin and the Cookes team for making this as quick and painless as possible. We called Cookes Plumbing and they came out right away. Andrew did a great job. He was very knowledgeable and very professional. We called at 8:00 in the morning and he was done by lunchtime. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing or septic work you need done.

Service was top notch from start to finish. Andrew Watson and Rob were incredibly professional, explained every step, and answered all of my questions with a smile. They were out within a couple hours of me calling, and had everything wrapped up by the next morning. They gave me great information about my system and its condition. They went over all of the options available including some very inexpensive things to try, and werent pushy trying to sell me on any particular option.I also met the gentlemen who operated the pump truck, and the gentleman who operated the line blasting truck. Its always refreshing to find people who enjoy and take pride in their work, and rare when you see this extend throughout the company.Shout out to the dispatcher who was also very professional and courteous when I had phone problems that prevented me from getting her calls. She kept calling and left multiple messages until she got through.My father lives nearby, and he and I have been going from company to company for septic maintenance for the past 15 years, never using the same company twice because of our poor experience. Ive never experienced such superior Customer Service from a plumbing company before. We live in MI and have a condo in the Jensen Beach area. We had a leak situation that originated from a faulty new washer and dryer installation from a shipping/delivery company. Cookes plumbing has come to our long distance rescue at least 4 times during this process and they continue to amaze me with their dedication, professionalism, friendliness and efficiency. Coleman, Tori, Marie and Katherine have all been so wonderful through this leak situation. They deserve to be recognized for their abilities and level of service they extend to customers like me each day. My journey is still not completed with Cookes and I will recommend them for any plumbing job to friends and family. Justin, Marie and Catherine were both again very helpful yesterday in executing an installation of a washer and dryer. It’s a very confined space, and it did not go well yet again yesterday. Justin, tried everything he could think of to complete the installation.They probably set up a return date, for early in the morning which worked best for my schedule and I appreciate them for that. Step-by-step, the situation continues and is less frustrating due to this great team at Cooke’s.

It was time for our maintenance and Justin came look our system over. His diligence and knowledge found a couple of things that were not yet severe, but moving in that direction. After explaining numerous options of what can be done, we made a decision and he was off to work! Knowing that Justin treated our house like it was his own, from start to finish. After 60 years in our area, Cookes is still the best to call!

Gary G and his crew came out and installed a new drain field for us. Not only were they on time and very friendly but They were professional and worked fast. Gary is very experienced at his job and it shows. They left my yard looking better than when they came in. They truly went above and beyond our expectations. We definitely will be recommending Cooke’s to everyone for their plumbing and septic needs!

We needed our septic tank pumped out since buying our house. I called Cookes for someone to come out to give me a quote. Andrew R. was sent out, he was professional and friendly. I had a lot of questions since this was my first time living in a home with a septic tank, he answered them all. We also had a guest house that needed pumping as well, I was given a fair quote and had a Service pumper out quickly. John A. came out to pump both tanks. He was also friendly and professional. John and Andrew got the job done quickly and efficiently. I highly reccommend Cookes for your septic needs.

I called Cookes yesterday Klate morning and they had a tech available by the end of the day! They were very good in giving me a 30 minute heads up before arriving. Justin T was my tech. I highly recommend Cookes Plumbing and Septic Service. Tyler arrived on time and explained everything he was doing and let me know what was wrong with my septic tank. He kept me informed of what would happen and stayed until the job was finished. Frank arrived to pump out the tank and the job was completed in a timely manner. Great customer service. Very informative, thorough and professional. Explained the process and what we might expect. Took time to ask what my concerns or question might be.

We had a plumbing issue at my Mothers house on Friday, I called Cookes and explained how the kitchen and bathroom were backing up. Justin T. arrived within an hour to help us out. Justin was extremely professional and familiar with my mothers lot and Septic tank history. I appreciated how he was willing to take the time to explain everything he was doing.Justin first removed the cap on the pipe which was a huge indication the septic tank was full and backed up. Justin went right to work, determined exactly where the septic tank was and realized it was a two part tank. He used his tarp to place the material he dug up from the yard and was able to access both lids. Once Justin was able to open the lid and determined what we needed to do we sat down with my mother and he explained and reviewed our various options and costs. He informed us my mother was eligible for a 10% senior discount.Once we determined what we wanted to do, Justin called for a driver to pump out the tank. John was a great help, he and Justin did an excellent job had to pressure clean pipe once tank and filter were cleaned. They both cleaned up the area when they were done and left the place as they found it.Thank you Justin and John for all your effort and great service. I appreciate the yearly reminder cards too that we filled out. I would recommend Cookes to anyone in the future with plumbing needs.

Honest. Fair. Trustworthy. Thorough. A problem solver. Great work ethics. Does not say the job is complete until the site is as clean as he found it. Courteous and professional. This is our 4 or 5th time to work with Andrew at Cooks. (Don’t panic - All for totally different reasons on different systems!) if the service continues as this, we will continue as customers.

Very positive and professional start to finish. Response time was exceptional. I called in the morning with questions and received a prompt courteous response. Within an hour a technician (Andrew) arrived at my residence, analyzed the situation and presented solutions.We selected the correct option and everything was complete that day, except for the installation of the alarm box which was completed early the next morning. Nothing but positive things to say ! Highly recommended !
