Im a 26 y/o with thick hair who has never had anyone cut my hair the way I want it- even when I show them photos. Only been three times and have yet to be disappointed. Ive had two different women cut my hair here (cant recall their names) but they never let me down. I highly recommend especially if you have always struggled to find someone to cut your hair correctly. And i believe its STILL CASH ONLY. Worth it.

I had an appointment with Sue and I explained I wanted about 2-3 inches of hair cut of. She ended up chopping off over 5 inches of hair. My hair is significantly shorter than what I asked for it to be. I did not ask for it to be cut to shoulder length. Also, while she was washing my hair she was digging her nails into my scalp where I now have scabs. My hair looks awful. Now I have to pay over $500+ to get extensions to get it fixed. I’ll never come here again.

Sue is absolutely incredible and so gifted in her craft. She has provided the most valuable education and insight to manage and style my hair. My hair is completely changed. The cut, color, and highlights are absolutely beautiful. I am getting sooooo many compliments. Thanks, Sue!!! You’re an artist and a hair genius!

Followed my fabulous nail tech, Tina, to this location & found the best hair stylist/shop owner, Sue! I love the way she styles my short, wavy hair so much that I wish she could come to Kentucky in the summer to give me my cuts there too!!! Not only does the cut look great when she does it, but it still maintains its style as it grows out. Such a bonus to have a great nail tech & stylist at the same location 😊❤️

The salon is very clean and is following all social distancing recommendations. The took my temperature and gave me hand sanitizer. All the stylists wore mask and there was only two clients in the building. Love this place. Veronica always does a fantastic job on my hair.

Four the past 9 years, Sue has been cutting and coloring my hair so I have plenty of experience with her to say that she is THE BEST! She not only does beautiful work (and my hair is not beautiful) but she explains the intricacies of coloring in such an understandable way that its easier to understand what will work for you. Her biggest problem is that she NEVER says no and she has gone out of her way to work me in in a crunch but she doesnt complain. Good for the customer but hard on her. And an added plus is that shes so funny and interesting to talk to. Dont take my word for it...call and make an appointment with her. You will come out of her shop feeling better than when you went in!!!

I am very, very happy with Tina, my nail technician at Shear Perfection. She not only does an outstanding job, but she is also just a lovely, lovely person. My nails have never held up better, and they look great even at three weeks. Tina also gives a very thorough and relaxing pedicure. Its my treat to myself.Sue, the owner of Shear Perfection, is by far the best hair stylist I have ever used. My hair (color/highlighting/cut) always brings me many compliments from friends and strangers, and I proudly refer them to Shear Perfection. The shop is relaxed and friendly, and I always feel like I am a valued customer.

The wax specialist Olivia is AMAZING. If you are ever afraid of getting a Brazilian wax, GO TO OLIVIA. I am overweight (which is sometimes an issue for waxing) AND it was my first time in a LONG time but Olivia didnt bat an eye. She is sweet and will wax quick, as painless as possible, and will speak to you about how to care for your skin. She is AMAZING. I cannot say how happy I am. Everyone here was very friendly, even when I had to reschedule twice in the same day. The atmosphere is calm, soothing, and just right. If you are afraid of getting your first Brazilian wax, dont be. Olivia has got your back. I cant recommend her enough.

Im so glad I read other reviews and found Sue. She gives me the best haircuts Ive had in years. I can actually style it myself, not as well as Sue can, but my hair has more shape and doesnt require a lot of time. Often I can just blow it dry and go. Other times I use a flat iron or Velcro rollers. I do my own manicures but always see Marie and Tina for pedicures which they do very well and are reasonably priced.

Sue colors and cuts my hair and I love her!!! She also taught me how to style my hair between cuts so it always looks great. This is a full service salon ... from nails to hair... and everyone at the salon is excellent.! I highly recommend this place!!!

Her fix exceeded my expectations, after two years in southern Florida, I finally found my go to hair stylist! Olivia waxed my eyebrows and I couldnt be happier. Thank you so very much ladies :)

Not at all happy with my hair color. Went in as a blonde. Expected to come out as one but instead my hair is brown.. wish I had done it myself.

They did a horrible job. I simplely asked for a blow dry with flips in my hair since I was getting pictures done for graduation. They lady didn’t do what I wanted at all. She had no idea how to deal with my hair. So I left. If you’re a person with semi thick hair don’t go there since they don’t understand how to do a simple blow dry for that type of hair.

From the color Sue selected for me to blend my natural color with my graying hair, the the cut which is easy for me to maintain to the friendly staff, this is by far the best salon I have ever gone to. Moving to Florida, and finding a new salon was not easy, but finding Sue and Shear Perfection was one of the best things to make relocating easier.

It was my first time and the haircut was great. I think I found my hair salon for life.

I had the worst eyebrows waxing appointment!I will not be coming backAt first she waxed them great but then decided for almost 20 minutes to pull the hair out 1 by 1!! I was clearly in pain and she continued on!I was almost at the point to tell her to stopI was almost in tears in hurt so badI suggested for her to use hard wax a month ago which hurts less and gets the job done but she refused!!! It took almost an 1 and a half hours for the pain to stopI will not come back!!!

An update! Almost a year after my initial review, I have to say I am still truly pleased with Shear Perfection! We relocated to Tradition and although there are a multiplicity of salons in that area, I will happily drive the distance to have Sue do my hair! Schwarzkopf color is so natural and long lasting, and I get so many compliments on my haircut and the condition of my hair. I have highly recommended this salon to several people and I know of at least one who shares my opinion.I am totally in love with the Matrix Biolage Detangler! My whole family uses it! Two other products that I have come to love are Schwarzkopf Bonacure Repair Rescue Sealed Ends and Schwarzkopf Bonacure Repair Rescue Conditioner! A little of these products goes a LONG way! If Sue recommends something, it is because she truly believes it will help your hair...not for her bottom line!While the amazing Debra is not there except on Saturdays, I have always had excellent results with whomever Sue hires as a wax/skin specialist. I am currently enjoying Olivias expertise! Sue is very picky about who she employs and it shows!I have been having Sue color and style my hair for over 4 years. She is truly gifted and very patient with a person who has no patience in doing her own hair...me!Sue uses Schwarzkopf color on me and I have never had a richer, longer lasting, natural color! I get a lot of compliments on the color and the cut as well.The salon is incredibly clean and well organized.Debra does a great job tinting my brows to match my hair and on waxing.Mai is a true perfectionist on her acrylic nails and pedicures.Love this place!

The salon itself is ok but the receptionist is terrible! Nasty, condescending and gets too confused if changing an appt. unfortunately a bad receptionist makes this entire experience unfavorable! I would never go back there!!
