I was a bit skeptical and scared before my first visit because I wasnt sure what to expect. After my initial consultation with Hillary, I felt completely at ease. Hillary was very kind and approachable. She is very knowledgeable in all things natural/holistic and truly has your best interest at heart. She is empathetic and goes above and beyond to make you feel at ease and comfortable during your treatment. The office and treatment areas are comfortably lit and cozy and the calming zen music relaxes you so much you almost forget you like a pincushion. With large cushy recliners, pillows and blankets, you just might fall asleep.The needles are so thin you barely feel them. I call it my meditation hour because its the only place I have found that lets me truly unplug from the outside world. Once the treatment is over you feel so relaxed, like you just got the best 8 hours sleep of your life. The best part, it works!!! Im happy to say that I am a regular now and although the office is a bit of a hike for me, (about 40-45 min) I wouldnt go anywhere else. The personalized service and sincere caring is worth the drive. Hillary truly goes out of her way to do what she can to make you feel better. I love Stuart Acupuncture!

AMAZING experience! I found Hillary and Ive never been more grateful. I was in a car accident in February. Compound that with just general life/ work stress and I was finding myself getting overwhelmed. I came to Hillary with a horrible case of Dyshidrotic Eczema which for those who dont know effect palms of hands and soles of feet. Crazy! After many doctors, drugs and no cure, a friend suggested Acupuncture and gave me Hillarys name. She listened and considered my problem carefully and looked at my issue from a whole body point of view. Whereas, the Dermatologist only looked at the skin and gave invasive drugs with bad side effects. I started on herbs to drink and herbs for soaking. I am happy to say my skin is heading back to a normal state and I am able to walk again. With no prior knowledge about Chinese medicine, I found this a positive experience. After 15 years of neuropathy which was greating worse all the time and not being able to get into REM sleep anytime in my 71 years, I am now free of all those problems. I started seeing Hillary 2 to 3 times a week October 2013 and within 5 visits I had relief and with only a few more had 100% relief. I had never experienced getting sleepy. I went to bed because I was tired then would toss and turn for 1/2 hour. I would wake up often in the night to repeat the process. Now I get sleepy and am asleep when my head hits the pillow and I seldom get up in the night. If I do I can get right back to sleep. I did not start seeing Hillary for the sleeping problem just the neuropathy and getting good sleep was a plus. I feel better, people say I look better and I have way more energy. Community acupuncture is a very positive experience. You rarely feel the very small needles and then it still is so slight Everyone seems for fall asleep and it seems to me there is a positive vibe from community acupunture.
