With a car shortage and all I came to this location to look around without any real intent to buy. I’ve been to a few other Toyota dealerships and they just could not do what this specific location was able to deliver on. Brad was very helpful with getting me to a price point that was fair and within my budget. I would definitely recommend coming to this dealership.

I heard different stories about the customer services bad behaviors. It might be the sometime customer check in and without buying they left and spend much more time of sale consultant or possible could be the price differences. But I didnt see anything related to that. Manoj was really helping and decent person. I was at Elgin Toyota to buy Camry Hybrid LE but the way, he guides me after my disappointment with car sold, which I was come so far to Camry SE Hybrid model. That was impressive. Went to Elgin Toyota to check out what looked like a great deal on a used Honda Civic advertised on a separate vehicle website. We were very happy to find the car was still available. Features of the car were accurately described (with the exception of some minor body blemishes not mentioned in the ad) and the car was well detailed. Very poor customer I purchased rav4 2021 limited edition on 9/21/21 they delivered the car memory seat was not working on top of it there were some other issues too they didnt even bothered to fix service appointment untill I called TOYOTA and raised a complaint. I feel like there is a too much of noise in the car I gave to service on 9/25/21 still I dont feel that car comfortable enough used car manger spoke to me on 9/25/21 and asked me to come back on 9/27/21 but I went thinking he will fix something for me simply wasted my 2 hours of time and told my boss is not approving for anything after purchasing the car I made 2 trips to elgin toyota and wasted so many hours.Its a gross dont trust them

I was hesitant to purchase, I had many concerns, questions and doubts. Bob the sales manager and Brad the sales consultant answered questions, broke down pricing, worked with my financial wants and provided future insight on my purchase. I myself am in sales and they did a great job truly understanding and selling to my needs. Here I am walking out with a 2017 rav 4 as my first big purchase ever at 25 and I feel good about shopping with them! Would recommend.

Sales person was wonderful but the management for sales was horrible. Their manager asked me, what amount of payment I’ll be satisfied to buy the car, I said 4% interest rate and he agreed to that deal. When I went into the financial office they gave me more than 6% interest rate when I walked out with the papers. They didn’t communicate with the financial guy and the financial guy was telling me he never heard of a 4% as well mentioned that the sales management is nobody and they don’t make the deals. I’m satisfied with the car I got but the service for management was awful and highly recommended to view all papers thoroughly and confirm everything with the financial guy so you guys won’t get screwed over with the total amount you guys owe for your vehicle.

The FIRST thing you have to do when you enter the dealership is ask for Pete Molina. He is the best dealer you will ever find. He went above and beyond to get me my car and on top of that he treats you like his own family. I was surprised by how fast the entire process was to get a new car. Basically I went in looking for a certain truck that literally no other dealer had on the lot in a color that was insanely hard to find (army green). Elgin of course did have it and they even had the limited version which has all the bells and whistles. My salesman Umair Ibrar and my finance guy Imran Aneesuddin were amazing. They treated us like family and were ultimately able to find me a better deal than anywhere else. They even stayed well after midnight just to make sure the truck was perfectly clean, had a full tank of gas, and was ready to go. So happy I made the drive down from Rockford. It was well worth it considering our Toyota dealer only has bottom of the line models in generic colors…

I went to another dealer to get my car serviced since I purchased Toyota Care. Tne clerk told me that my Toyota Care coverage is not in the system. He then called Elgin Toyota and apparently my Toyota Care is not in their system either. I paid $995 for this. The clerk at the dealer told me to ask them why I was charged $995 when it only costs less than $500. Please do not go to this dealer. I paid additional $6000 for my car’s warranty only to find out that they did not even bother to update my file.Update- we went there the following day and Mr Solo made sure that our warranty was entered in the system and answered our questions. Our car was taken cared of right away.

My experience seemed to be good while my car was under warranty, the minute that expired, that all changed, I felt like I was getting the ole switcheroo with the services I asked for vs. what I got, I submitted some less than stellar surveys and none of my concerns were ever addressed. Finally, shortly after a tire rotation I had stopped at a local tire shop for a nail I had picked up and they showed me that the interior sides of all 4 tires were not only bald, but down to the steel wires! How could the techs have missed this and in any good conscious sent me on my way? Be Wary! or better yet do what maintenance you can by yourself!

BewareI drove a long way to get a good deal on a car. Clean car fax, pictures looked great. When I got there this car has clearly been in an accident. Cracks in bumper, the door was shifted several centimeters off, new welding done inside door to cover things up. This was never posted on the website. Please inspect your vehicle before you buy. I would have never thought this would happen at an actual Toyota dealer.

Dont waste your time. THOUSANDS OVER MSRP on every vehicle for a fake protection package. It was a horrible experience.Prior to going to the dealership I called to confirm the car was available and the advertised price was accurate because I was driving over an hour to take a look at it.Before we even set eyes on the car Mike (sales consultant) was confrontational and says Were charging at least $4000 over MSRP on everything. He was not knowledgeable on the vehicle specifics and proceeded to lie about options, prices, and features. I mentioned wanting a lease, he said it was not possible because they cant approve such a high surcharge on a lease. After a test drive, I wanted to get some numbers and get out. Mike put this customer worksheet in front of me and said sign here to say youll buy the car today if we get your payment right.I guess I wasted my time so you dont have to.

So I went into Elgin Toyota with a scheduled appointment. The vehicle that I was planning on test driving was in the shop getting rear breaks done. At that point I thought it was a done deal and I wasnt going to test drive the car I wanted. I thought I would walk out immediately after finding this out. Sales manage Bob approached me and my family which at this point we were all very frustrated. You could tell Bob cares about his customers and offered to buy us lunch while we waited for the vehicle to get done. Bob worked with us the whole way he let me look at the car on the lift and was very patient with me. I ended up purchasing the vehicle which I should mention was very fairly priced. I have NEVER seen a sales manager care so much and give such great service. Bob is a people person and truly cares about his customers because he knows they can go somewhere else. Most sales managers think they are too good to talk to customers and have the mentality of if you don’t like it leave. All I can say is I couldnt be happier and Elgin Toyota received a life long customer even though it’s about an hour drive from me. You do not find this kind of service, especially at large dealerships like this. Everyone was very respectful, especially Bob. I know it is not an everyday thing purchasing a car and I will NOT forget this.

This dealer is horrible they lie about everythingI contacted them threw the Costco auto program which means they have to sell you the price at invoice price and what so everThe dealer contacted me right away and said they don’t have the car I wanted which was fineHowever I got a call few day later that they got a shipment and got scheduled for an appointment that day in the afternoon.Showed up to my appointment to be told that they just suspend the Costco program that morning and the price of the car is not gonna be honored I contacted Costco and was told that the information that the sales man gave me is no correct asked to speak to a managerHis answer to me was they did not suspend the program but they don’t have cars keep in mind I was called to come in for that car.So me bing a wise guy I called them from my wife’s phone and asked if they had the car and they informed me that they do.These are the kind of lies and sneakiness you would expect from this lousy dealer and if this is the management not much is expected from the rest of there staff

This place is pretty great! They had a pretty good selection of used cars and had several that I was hard put to choose between! Better than all the cars was the Sales Consultant that helped me: Monica Rosas. As a first time car buyer I was very anxious but Monica took the time to explain everything to me and gave me space to think without pressuring me into anything. She also jumped to answer all my questions and if she didnt happen to know something off the top of her head, she would immediately start researching the answer. Overall it was a great experience that was only made better by Monica!

Be careful with this service department. They charged us for services that were not reported to CarFax. We took our van in for maintenance and inspection prior to a family road trip. They changed transmission and power steering fluids. A day later, it is leaking multiple fluids and is in worse shape than we started. We’ve previously had to go back because they forgot to finish things. We assumed the first time was an innocent mistake. Now it’s a pattern of carelessness.

We drove to Elgin Toyota from Chicago because they were one of the few dealers that had the 2021 Rav4 XSE fully loaded in the color we wanted. Upon arrival, we were greeted and taken care of in a timely manner. Brad Amin was was our sales consultant and was extremely helpful and answered ALL our questions. Sales representative (Monica Rosas) was very nice and kind, but sales manager was rude. Monica had explained about signing a document about if terms were met, but we will get something today. Said no, wanted to see numbers first. Sales manager came out. Asked for ESTIMATED numbers to see potential monthly payments, came back with credit being a bit low and explaining that we can’t get it without presenting numbers/suggesting other vehicles to us when specifically asked to look at numbers first. After the sales manager left the first time, Monica had to apologize for his behavior. A sales representative is apologizing for the sales manager behaviors? Don’t think that’s right.

Went to look at a minivan listed online. Test drove & came back ready to purchase. They tried to force us to purchase a package deal which we declined! Asked for the out the door price after tax & title and manager came back to tell us they can’t sell us the car for their listed price because we aren’t purchasing their package deal which is where they make all their money. We walked out! How are you going to list a car for a price & then not honor your own listed price when a customer declines your ridiculous extra package deal?

We asked for a breakdown on the price and he kept saying he couldn’t provide anything until after we would sign the paperwork and agree for credit run.We asked for a Bill of Sale as we were getting financed through our bank, he refused to provide any information and kept saying that he couldn’t provide anything until we go through financing.When we kept asking for breakdown of the numbers, he kept repeating the same thing, what breakdown.This was the most uncomfortable and unwelcome experience we had at a car dealership. They kept changing the numbers on us and wouldn’t provide honest and clear numbers

Had maintenance work done today at Toyota Elgin on my Toyota RAV4 at which I had bought from here in 2019. I had to wait for service advisor to talk to me and after that was sent to another service advisor even though I had appointment for oil change. I agreed to go with 30K miles $373 maintenance service package as per the recommendation. I was surprised to see additional $35 added to the final bill for Shop Supplies which is a overcharge and service advisor conveniently decided not to inform me about it. I was told service would take 1 hour & 15 minutes to complete but had to wait more than 2 hours for it to complete. After this experience I have decided not to take my car for service at Elgin Toyota.

The car buying experience was exceptional. The best price and the best deal was a reason I travel so far to buy this Toyota Matrix. The thing I hate about buying cars is the games some dealerships play. I was able to purchase this vehicle without any pressure, on my own time and at the right price. My salesman JUN SUELLO was a great help even offered to go on a very long test drive.

The car salesmen are either not very knowledgable or they are intentionally trying to sell cars that are in bad conditions. Ali tried to convince us that rust would not spread on a 4runner, even though it was coming from under the paint and pertruding outward. He also tried to convince us that because an accident that was reported to carfax didnt have a picture, the accident didnt happen. Also, he said that a very blown speaker could be fixed by adjusting sound settings.
