Terrible experience.They gave me poor advice, oversold me on the equipment and did not stand behind. The wi-fi card went out on the LG tv after it was barely out of warranty and they would do nothing.Most disappointing customer service experience I have ever had.Don’t waste your money go to Best Buy.

Wanted to purchase and have them install a decent radio into my little pickup. They were priced better than anyone in town, and did an exceptional job at it even after having some difficulty getting everything to work. Took the extra effort to figure out the problem and fix it. Customer service was top notch. On top of this, their showroom/store is very clean, nice and comfortable. Definitely would go back.

I went in at a prearranged appointment. Was treated coutesly and was treaded professionaly. They then went to work. Everything was done as expected and done well. I got amps and subs and door speakers. All done while i waited. Checkout thei tvs also. Well done. 👍

I just bought my 2nd TV from Audio Midwest. They again met my expectations in what a business is supposed to do for their customers. Rob is friendly to work with and explained everything that I needed to know about the TV I bought. Price wise, Audio Midwest beat the big Box store. I received knowledgeable, friendly and helpful service from everyone at Audio Midwest. Rob was patient while outlining a number of options I could pursue within my desired budget range and provided me with upfront purchase and installation quotes for each. The install looks clean and flawless and the sound results were better than anticipated. Service after the sale/installation is top-notch also, as Rob followed up with me a couple of weeks later to make sure everything was to my liking and problem-free. Ill certainly be a repeat customer.

I went here looking for an amp, I didnt really know what was needed for my application. The sells man was really knowledgeable and helpful, they even diagnosed my ride and gave me a couple of reasonable amp to chose from, he even took the time to explain ohm loads to me. I have had several things installed at this audio store. I have not had good experiences with businesses in the Stillwater area, so my first comment to the owner was Im not concerned about price I just want the work to be done correctly the first time. His response was well we work on Ferraris.Its been about 6 months now since they installed my rearview camera on my Silverado. I just discovered a piece of electrical tape over the optic sensor in the dash that tells the truck when to turn the headlights on. After some investigation, I found that the rear-view camera was wired into headlight power. So the camera would only come on whenever it was dark essentially. The way that they fixed it was to make it dark all the time by putting electrical tape over the optical sensor.Maybe if I had a Ferrari they would have done the job right the first time.

Audio Midwest installed two subwoofers for me this past weekend and it couldn’t have gone better! They were by far the cheapest saved me $450 and they were extremely fast and just have wonderful customer service! I will definitely come back and recommend to others!

Besides being LOCAL and NOT a big box store, they have 30 YEARS of experience and it shows!! I have been taking my vehicles to Rob for years now. Anytime I have needed something he always gets me in ASAP and they are fast as well. They always explain things throughly and give you all the different options up front too. My truck I brought to them and I gave them an amount I wanted to spend. After talking with Rob about what I wanted to do he actually suggested a system that was $100’s under my initial budget!! And it sounds and looks amazing! My car looks and sounds amazing too! I get compliments on its sound and the look of their custom made box! I DO recommend to everyone that this is the ONLY place to go for anything car audio, TV’s, and home entertainment. They do it all and they do it the best!

Little over priced for me trying to over sale! I was buying a kit not a CD player! Best buy has better selections and cheaper, cartoons has cheaper kits. I allowed you to sell me on the CD player that I wasnt trying to buy. And I feel as if I was being overly sold on what I didnt come in for. Oh Amazon has same CD players for $30.00 check there as well. Shop around before buying here.

Audio Midwest installed my backup camera today and could not have done a more fantastic job. They also installed in my 2010 Honda Insight a state of the art Apple Car Play device that perfectly syncs with my smart phone. It was all done for an extremely reasonable price with any potential complication covered on their end to eliminate the risk of further cost to me. Ive never been more impressed with a Stillwater business and will be sending everyone I can here. If I could give it 6/5 stars I would.

I have just made my third large purchase through Audio Midwest in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Excellent customer care, employees are helpful and knowledgeable about home and car audio. The 55 Television and surround sound i recently had installed in my home is amazing. I had trouble with my Harmony remote at first, but was relieved when someone came to my home to walk me through it twice in a two week period. The installers were fast and hard workers, meeting all my specific needs. I believe there is a reason they have been around since the 70s. Definitely HIGHLY recommended.

I brought my vehicle in for a new radio, they were willing to lower the price on the radio and got it installed in under 30 minutes but now nothing in my dash is sitting in the proper place. When I brought it back to have them fix it, it came out looking exactly the same.

Worse experience ever i took my truck for a amp/subwoofer instalation for the reason that work weekends even when their price was significantly higher than two more places that checked earlier that day and i had to go back THERE TIMES for they to get it right first time they said my amp no good i was in a hurry so i said Ill come back later but my truck died as soon as drove it one block from there second one unstoppable weird sound third one they were suggesting me to take it somewhere else cuz they ran out of time but finally got it righ at last but they made me lose half day which means more money i will never go back with them

Had a stereo installed a little over a year ago, then some components broke including the sub. Called the Boss in Stillwater and without much of explaining he booked me a special appointment where he had his tech take care of my stuff on his day off. Everything got repaired including the sub, free of charge replacement.Not only is the Owner an awesome individual but their customer service is the BEST and by far exceeded my expectations.I highly recommend Audio Midwest for all your audio needs.You guys are AWESOME !!!

1. For starters, I left an honest review and they deleted immediately probably because they realized it was true. 2. When I called on the phone and asked simple questions about my car (makes sense considering I was about to take it to their shop and give them business, if I was an expert on audio in cars I could do it myself) they made me feel like an imbecile. The man on the phone thinks that he is superior to just about everyone. New flash you live in Stillwater, Oklahoma and you work at an audio shop. I’m not bashing on people who work in service jobs, but if I receive bad customer service and someone who is extremely arrogant, then sure. Just to clarify I’m not asking for everyone to be nice all the time, I’m aware that that is completely unrealistic and everyone has bad days. But if you work at a business where your success depends a lot on customer service, you should be able to at least fake common courtesy. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!!! side note I attend Oklahoma State University and am heavily involved in campus and you can guarantee that I will be telling everyone I know to NOT give you company business!! 😁 if you’re reading this and you’re the business owner I would recommend firing the guy you have who answers the phone because all of the negative reviews all start with him and is that uneducated piece of 💩 really worth losing business?

Weve purchased 3 TVs from Audio Midwest. We are very pleased with their knowledge and prompt service. We purchased our third TV from Audio Midwest recently and had an excellent experience. The new TV is technologically complex, but was installed well. We had a few minor problems, which I expected, but Rob sent a technician out the day I called and the problems were quickly resolved. We also purchased a universal remote which is working very well, thanks to tech support. Highly recommend!

I was excited to get a new system put in n they didn’t give a new one cuz they took it off the stand so it was a demo. The stereo they installed is the same size as the stock stereo but they butchered my console n I didn’t see or could tell why that was necessary. If u have to saw that much out u should at least inform the customer that ur about to cut their console n get an alright or no get a different stereo so not to destroy the console. They didn’t put all the bolts for the install In, no radio connector, no usb cord installed n all this came In the box cuz I looked it up on Pioneer sight. Three trips to get my stuff n install myself. The stereo sounds great in my car but those descrepancies got me upset n I wasn’t happy.I’m replying to your comment about having to cut the dash and I looked up the dash kit you put in n it clearly states that no cutting of dash is required. Your stating that u installed a large tv in my car but my factory radio is a 6” screen n the stereo u installed is also a 6” stereo. U never told me u were gonna cut my dash n I believe u never checked the work that was done. Don’t put words in my mouth that I didn’t say. You did sell me a demo n charged me full price but didn’t give me all the parts that were supposed to come with that stereo if it was new like u said. I do have photos of the damage that was done to my vehicle. While I was in there another customer was livid about the damage u guys did to his tool bag n installed the wrong speaker box. I’ve called you for support n you blew me off cuz of the review I posted so that tells me u don’t care about your customer satisfaction just how much u can get out of them. Thank you.

I recently had issues with my subwoofer in my truck. After hours of troubleshooting, I wasn’t able to find the issue. I went to Audio Midwest and the manager allowed me to use one of his subwoofers to test in my truck. The manager found the issue within minutes. I bought a new subwoofer and couldn’t be happier. It’s nice to see someone who is so knowledgeable in their profession.

Do not let them install anything. Make sure they dont install a demo unit and charge and tell you its new. Charging for install hardware and then cutting up your factory hardware to fit the radio without using the purchased hardware. I got scammed hard couple of years ago by audio Midwest dont let them scam you.

I just purchased my third TV from Audio Midwest. Great people that actually know what theyre talking about, not some high school kids reading aloud the information thats printed on the boxes.This is a locally owned and operated shop, selling quality goods and supporting with great service. Those things have value. If you want to price shop, get online or go to Walmart. This is a store for people that dont want to research or shop around. Go in, spend 5 minutes learning about the things that are important in making a decision, pay a 5% upcharge and leave satisfied.While I was there, an older gentleman came in with a television he purchased at Walmart and was asking for help. The manager hooked up his TV, helped him troubleshoot his problem and send him on his way, no charge. Thats pretty exceptional service considering he didnt even buy the TV from there in the first place. Its hard for me to believe anyone could have issue with the service received here.

I got referred to Audio Midwest through a close friend of mine who worked there previously and because they were one of the few retailers that was selling the specific brand of sound bar that I was looking for. I was, at first, dismayed because it took them an extra month just to get the sound bar that I ordered, but this was due to a manufacturer recall. After waiting a long time after having already paid for the sound bar, I finally received it. The only problem was that the sound bar was defective. Here is where Audio Midwests customer service really came through. They requested I send the sound bar to them in the original box, which was massive. Quite naturally I didnt have it anymore. Since that was not an option, they ordered the new sound bar and then shipped the box that the new one came in to me with instructions to send the defective unit to them. However, they only paid to ship the box to me and not for the return shipping. I had to pay to ship the defective unit back, nearly 90 dollars, which they refused to reimburse. Afterward, they requested that I ship them back the empty box they had just sent me. I told them were ridiculous and the manager hung up the phone on me. Overall, I spent nearly 1000 here and got what Id classify to be IHOPs service when you eat there at 4 in the morning. Take your money elsewhere, I will never come back here again.
