It took while to wait for the parts, but they were straight with me. My computer was eventually fixed and it has been working perfectly.
I had a consultation, with one of the Geek Squad technicians, regarding a computer issue. They could have easily convinced me to spend a hundred dollars to repair my computer, but they recommended some software to cure my problem. About $35 for software, which I could run on my own. They said if it didnt work, they would gladly take a look at it at the standard rate. The software worked and my computer is back in service.
Mismanaged. You’re better off driving to Tulsa or Oklahoma City to get repair work done. I visited this location with an appointment SEVEN different times and each time there was not a tech available or their system was not working properly. Save you time and go elsewhere.
I was completely satisfied with the way my computer problem was handled. I was also very satisfied that the ones working on the computer were open and HONEST with what was needed and did not suggest something beyond what was really necessary. The work was done very professionally and on time and every notice was honored. THANK YOU
I booked an appointment for this Morning at 10 a.m. for an Auto Radio consultation. I have been hoping to find a new touch screen radio and backup camera system to add to my older 2013 Dodge Avenger (to keep me from wanting to get a new car lol).I arrived at the door in the back (as the email stated to do) and it was locked. I knocked and waited a minute with no answer. I then called the store and told them I was out back waiting. They told me they would get someone back there. Fifteen minutes pass by and I am still waiting at the back door sweating in the Oklahoma heat as I have been for 20 minutes. I finally give up and go inside to wait in the A/C and as soon as I walk in the Geek Squad technician was standing at the front door leaning on the greeters desk talking to him. I told him I have been waiting for 20 minutes and he replies “yea, I’m running late what do you want done”. I go to explain what I want and he cuts me off saying “yea, well what do you need me to do” in a sarcastic annoyed tone. I then told him I didn’t want to do business with him any longer. (I also want to add that when you make an appointment it has you fill out a description of what you want done and I filled it out... so if he had read it in the 20 minutes he wasted, he would have known what I wanted)! I found the manager, who was extremely professional but did state “he was here right at 10” so that proved the tech was not running late and just lied to me. The manager took him away to “talk to him and handle the situation” but I then asked if he was the only tech at that store. When the lady told me he was the only one I decided to leave as I didn’t want someone like that working on my vehicle. As of yet, I have not heard from the store to try and make things right. But I will update if things change. I’m not saying Best Buy isn’t a great place to get these things done at.... I am just saying I WOULD NOT recommend getting it done at the Stillwater location. It’s just a bummer as I was really excited to get this done! I was fully ready to spend money (as I’m sure they were aware since I’m an Elite Plus Bestbuy customer).
