Have tried working with both the Stephenville and Decatur service departments and have had nothing but issues. Being completely rude over the phone, laughing off any question I may have, and also not willing to help me find part #’s due to “how busy they are”. And last but definitely not least, if you call they’re service department they will send you to voicemail every time, even if you are calling them back from missing a return call.Trying to use Hendershot Service Department is like pulling teeth!Would not recommend to ANYONE!

Good guys takin care of business. First machine on site two weeks and had a mechanical/electrical issue . One phone call and replacement machine delivered same day. No long delay, no problem . Cant ask for much better service than that. We will continue to rent from Hendershot!

They repaired a problem with our piece of equipment but there customer service leaves a bit to be desired. What should have taken only a day or so was more than 10 days, although it may have been less than 10 days as they never called to say the equipment was ready. We called to inquire and was told, yes its ready. I would use them again but am aware of this now and might try a different repair service first, not sure.

I had a good experience renting equipment from Hendershot and working with Fransisco. Equipment performed fine, and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would have zero hesitation to do further business or recommend them.

Have rented from Hendershot many times, mostly renting a small excavator. Every time service is quick and friendly. Machines are new and function excellent. Trailers are new and light behind truck. Prices are cheaper than any other place I have rented, especially since equipment is new.

Francisco provided white-glove treatment and was awesome! I highly recommend him and the company.

Rented a machine, and had a couple personal problems that impaired my job. Hendershot was more than generous on assisting me with those issues. With their prices and service I will not be using anyone else in Stephenville.

We came three hours to rent a skid steer and tree puller from Hendershot in Stephenville because they were the only place that rented out the tree pulled we wanted to try.Francisco was great in getting us all set up and answered any questions that we had.Unfortunately, we had a hydraulic hose bust on the tree puller the first day that we used it. We called Francisco and let him know, and sent pictures to show the hose had wear marks before we even used it. Francisco went above and beyond to find a hydraulic company near us instead of us having to drive 3 hours back to Stephenville. With him finding this, we were back up and running in a few hours instead of spending that time driving.We had planned on renting it for a month but had a change of plans, and there was no problem to return it after a week instead. Definitely recommend dealing with Francisco in the rental department.A word to the wise: take “before” pictures of equipment when renting it. It can save you a lot of argument down the road. 😂

I shopped for a new tractor at 10 dealerships from Tyler to DeLeon Texas and was very lucky to have found Hendershot. The 2019 Case 75 C model tractor I purchased is hands down the best value compared to comparable John Deere, Kubota, Mahindra and New Holland machines.I compared specs and test drove them all and found the 75 C cab larger than even the new model Kubota. Way larger than the John Deere comparable model. John Deere “nickel and dimes” you. Want both doors to open? Buy a door handle. Instructor seat? Add $500. Also like the Fiat Italian built engine that runs so clean that no expensive “not covered under warranty” particulate filter or regeneration cycle is needed like with Kubota and John Deere. Other than the actual tractor and equipment, dealer longevity, reputation and service quality was a big deal for me. Having a dealer that will be there when needed for service weighed heavy on my purchase decision and Hendershot was top notch. Jared Huckabee in sales is extremely knowledgeable, professional and worked hard to earn my business. He took time to be with the tractor when it was delivered and he knows his product inside and out. Service manager Kevin Fore is taking care of a very minor tear on back side of one arm rest under warranty. Definitely above and beyond customer care. I could not be happier with my new tractor and dealer.

Talked to Jarred about new mahindra tractor in Nov. Wasnt able to buy until February. Now he is telling me I need a much larger tractor because the smaller units have motor issues. After talking to other dealers and along with his service department I figured out he was only wanting to sell what was on the lot. Also the jarred in the mower side was no help when asking about a new zero turn. So I ended up buying the tractor I wanted and zero turn from a closer dealer and got 1500. more for my trade.

Decatur facility: while the people are nice, the prices for repairs are outrageously high. Over $50 to put some anti flat goo in two tiny front mower tires, $60 to clean contacts on battery. Total bill over $500 for tune up and blades for zero turn. Then 2 weeks later they charged my card without authorization for fees they forgot. Get EVERYTHING in a written quote. A lesson I learned the hard way

I usually don’t ever do any reviews but this one I couldn’t pass up.Jared Huckabee and the service Tech David Wiese at the Stephenville Hendershot went above and beyond what I was expecting this weekend. I bought a new Vermeer 504R Signature baler from Jared and it was delivered Wednesday 11/07/2018. Jared and the tech came out installed the monitor and everything was working fine. I went to bale hay Saturday, hooked the baler up, went to power up the monitor and I didn’t work. Jared sent the tech out about 430 p.m to try and figure out what was wrong with this brand new monitor. The tech said the monitor is bad but he found out they have one at the Decatur store and he would leave at 600 Sunday morning and pick it up and come install it when he returns. At 9:40 a.m the tech was at my house installing the new replacement monitor and it was working great. Now that dosent say much for a brand new monitor not working but anyways. I have bought a lot of equipment from Jared and he has always helped and treated me very well.

Renting equipment from Hendershot is a very professional experience. The staff goes the extra mile to work out the kinks that you may encounter. Even driving way out in the country just to help change attachments. Thanks Hendershot.

I would not waste my time. I took my grapple bucket in to be serviced on hydraulics...I specifically said needs just connections. No they took off the whole good lines and tried to charge me $660 I called bs and the police as they tried to not let me get my bucket. Police came they let me have my bucket due to theft...I agreed to pay $300 for the lines I didnt need because I felt bad after calling the law. Bucket still not fixed I took to McMaster in Decatur $17 and they made connector right there. Do NOT go here for anything other than purchase. The service tech in Decatur is an absolute joke. The help desk person had to basically cattle prod him to come help me in the first place.

After they they worked on my mxu 125 nothing worked, $ 10000, repair bill, were supposed to replace parking brake, has to b done while trans is out, didnt do it, there was supposed to b 1 year warranty, never fixed nothing, they r well known for bad Repair all over texas!

Wish I could put a negative star service manager is a complete inconsiderate ass. works on engines but only certain types. Doesnt want to spend time looking for correct parts. Absolutely worthless
