Arrogant lady working there. Made full of bad attitude. There was an accident in t hw highway and we are delayed to reach for our passport appointment. I explained that to her very politely, but her response is very rude. Not sure why these kinda rude, low minded, helpless persons are working in a people facing environment. Hate that office to the core. Waste of time and energy with them.
Lazy mail carrier Amazon, FedEx,&UPS have no problem delivering our packages but our mail person just leaves a slip saying bad road( Our road has been graded and rerocked twice in the past month)Whats the point of driving a 4 wheel drive vehicle I deliver to roads far worse than mine everyday for my job Start doing your job so that I m not having to be late for mine or rework my entire day just because of a lazy mail person. This is becoming a problem with people working and NOT doing their job then hiding behind the fact that they work for the Federal Government

Today, I went to get my mail at P.O. BOX. I obtained my mail from a blonde headed clerk, who gave me all of my mail and left the front desk. Then, I went to my physical P.O. BOX and saw another yellow slip. I went back inside to ask if there was more mail or just a reminder. She had not returned to the front, and there was only one gentleman in line who allowed me to get in front of him since I had just left. The older hispanic female clerk, finished with a customer and loudly stated he was in line so wait until she comes back since she was dealing with you. Okay, mind you, she didnt know what I needed because that was never asked or told to her. SHE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! The nice clerk beside her who witnessed what was happening, intervened and asked what I needed. She then proceeded to assist me, even though she was also assisting another customer. Now that is an example of EXCELLENCE AT ITS FINEST AND TEAMWORK. WHEN ONE OF THE CLERKS/HER COLLEGUES (THE ORIGINAL CLERK THAT ASSISTED ME WAS NOT PRESENT), SHE STEPPED UP AND HANDLED THE SITUATION TO STEP IN AND HELP WHEN HER COLLEAGUE WAS NOT PRESENT. Unlike the Hispanic clerk, who was RUDE AND DID NOT ASSISTANT or go out of her way to provide good customer service or effectively communicate to see what I even needed. As a result of her actions, she demonstrated a poor performance as an employee representing USPS in STATESVILLE, NC.However, I am SO HAPPY THAT I WAS ASSISTED BY THE NICE YOUNG WOMAN TODAY AT THE THIRD REGISTER (I WISH I KNEW HER NAME), BECAUSE SHE IS A REPRESENTATION OF EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.THANKS TO HER THAT I DEPARTED KNOWING THAT THE USPS in my home town is still FILLED WITH GOOD MEMORIES from my childhood that remain as an adult.GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE IS STILL ALIVE!!!!!!THANKS!!!!!!
I’m so tired of not getting my mail. It seems like half the time I’m expecting packages they sit at the post office for a week or two before being delivered . On one occasion a few weeks ago a package made it to the post office and then it was sent across the state then sent back to Statesville then finally made it to my house.. I really wish they could do a better job delivering mail and packages .. from now on I’m paying more for shipping so it’s delivered by Fedex or UPS..
I would give this place no stars if that was possible! The person I spoke to was extremely rude. She stated that USPS is not redelivering any packages that are not priority. However, I have been receiving my packages just fine until now. On top of which there is an amazon hub available for package drop off. When I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager the woman stated she didnt know who her manager was? I asked her to put me on hold and find out for me. She put me on hold and never came back to the phone. This is pure laziness!!! I would recommend If you are able to, specify UPS or FedEx for package delivery OR YOU MAY NEVER SEE YOUR PACKAGE!
Ive never had a problem with my mail until now. So far the post office has lost my mortgage payment, electric payment, donation to the firemans and my cable payment. Ive tried to get ahold of someone but everything is automated and can never get a human. Im scared to mail off my bills in great they wont reach they destination
Passport service is horrible. After waiting 40 minutes after appointment time for the 2nd time, they still refused to process with forms in hand. 0 stars if I could. Customer service as dry as my Aunt Lucys 1st attempt at biscuits without lard, then air fried for 30 minutes and put in oven to roast another hour.
Tried to ship two packages and cash a US Postal money order this morning but couldn’t because they didn’t have change. WHAT?? What kind of business doesn’t start the day with enough money to make change?

This Post Office seems to have some of the nicest people that I know working for them. I was there today and was surprised to find that I was the only person there at just the time I walked in. Every time that I have been there to mail things that I needed to have weighed in order to get the right postage. Each time I have done this, the person that was helping me, always offers me options and tries to get me the lowest price available for what I am mailing. I am also asked if there is anything else that I need. I am truly fortunate to have this location as my Post Office. All of the different mail carriers that I have met are also part of the place that I think has some of the nicest people that I know
Called twice to arrange to get a key to my mailbox. They said they couldnt get in touch with the carrier. I flagged down the carrier and he said he had heard nothing about it. Somebody is lying. They said I had to come in and bring proof that I live here like a utility bill and identification. How can I bring a bill if they wont give me my mail? I had ordered some things and a large item was delivered to my home without me proving I lived there. They are so worried about security but will deliver packages but not mail. Makes no sense. My mail was forwarded from my former address.
Id give them 5 stars if it werent for the 3 packages delivered to the wrong house in the first place BUT Mandy at this office is the most helpful person I have ever met at ANY post office. She tracked the packages down to the wrong place, had someone go get them, and delivered to my front door in a few hours. If you need help, call her!
USPS lies and then you wait forever on a freaking phone, longer than they said, and cant get any help. Packages are not being left, no note, and needed things will be gotten too late to use. I will NEVER use USPS for shipping again.
The incompetence of the Passport office is mind numbing. February 28th I had a 1030am appt. which the lady from the passport office was late for. And because of the bumbling of my documentation, from this acceptance facility. They screwed my passport application, because they dont understand that your MARRIED NAME, is what should be processed. I did my due diligence in ensuring my end was done correctly. Unfortunately the passport office at the post office can not. Just a FYI I filed a complaint with U.S. Passport Agency about the delay that you caused me, because your team is not trained correctly. Hopefully I get my Passport in time for my trip.Do not use this facility just because its near by, they will screw you over royally!
Totally unreliable mail delivery. An important $950.00 rent check I mailed AT THE LOBBY MAIL SLOT at this Oakland station 9 days ago still hasnt been delivered to my landlord! Just imagine: I sent my envelope to another person and address IN THE SAME TOWN of Statesville!! The landlord was now entitled to punish me with a late fine costing me $35.00. I was LIVID! So with steam blasting out of both of my ears, I got control of myself and drove the 14 mile round trip to Oakland Post Office. But MIKE MORGAN the Mgr. lacks the temperament to be a manager. He kept cutting me off in mid-sentence while I tactfully explained my problem. Im cool headed - even when violated - since shouting and profanity do not accomplish anything in life. I told him about all the wasted time (2 hours), gas money, and late fees that their poor service had cost me. But HE repeatedly PASSED THE BUCK by saying, IF YOU DONT LIKE THE SERVICE, TAKE IT UP WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT since that is my boss. Now theres a true answer man for you, America. Way to take ownership of your screw up there, buddy. Way to comfort a disgruntled customer you screwed with a promise to investigate. NOT!! Mike Morgan does not know the word, APOLOGIZE.Its little wonder why postal employees can go mad and dangerous on the job with a Mgr. like Morgan. Morgan: you must be so proud of your exemplary management skills.When I asked this idiot why my mailed check had yet to arrive after 9 days, MORGAN said this: I recommend in the future that you bring your letter here to the counter and give it to a clerk to send. When you drop it in that mail slot out in the lobby over the weekend, it gets automatically sent to Greensboro FIRST to be sorted. Then Greensboro P.O. sends it back to our post office. So I said, Thats efficiency at its best. Why dont you let us customers in on that little trick you just told me? You should put up a giant sign near your front counter that says FOR FASTER MAILING SERVICE, avoid dropping your letters in the lobby mail slot. His answer? Management wont let us.So this is a dirty little secret that the postal service bosses WANT TO HIDE FROM POSTAL CUSTOMERS!!! Does EVERYONE in Federal Government have to play secret games like Hillary Clinton? Hiding things,.....passing the buck.....lying????Mr. Morgan is PROOF that the INMATES ARE RUNNING THE ASYLUM!!! An important mailed check to another business in my own town has been lost or delayed 6 times in the past year. The average time to deliver those letters was 2 weeks. Since I send out 5 bills with checks every month, that means the Statesville POST OFFICE LOSES 10% OF EVERYTHING I MAIL!!!! (Update: Mike Morgan was transferred 2 days later and this is why he literally told me I dont care anymore about your problem!
Twice in the last month a package that was supposed to have 2 day delivery was not delivered although my USPS App showed it was delivered at a certain time the day it was to arrive. Got the the following day. It just happens on weekends. I think someone is marking them delivered and not doing their job on weekends and delivering the following Monday. Lazy, disrespectful people!!
Worst customer service from the supervisor named Alexandra. Refused to look for a package marked to pick up in office. Then threw it in my face that she handed my my mail and that she talked to you before didnt I listen unacceptable

Went here to get passports done for family of 4. They were quick, got us in right at our appointment time, and the staff was so nice!
I just spent 6 minutes on the phone listening to menus. Then I was told the wait time to speak to someone is over an hour. Our delivery service is awful; nearly every day we receive neighbors’ mail, which I assume means our own mail is going elsewhere.
We’re is the ZERO stars option? The USPS carriers at this location can not deliver mail or packages to the correct address. I’ve called several times trying to track down mail/packages that were supposedly delivered. It’s very frustrating to finally get your mail/packages marked “wrong address” by whom ever it was delivered to instead of you. It’s anywhere from 3 or 4 days later and sometimes weeks later before its delivered and in some case never delivered.The wait time is over an hour to speak to an agent that sounds like they have a mouth full of marbles. They take info/tracking numbers and are apologetic but the end result is that time after time you’re left at the mercy of incompetent and irresponsible mail carriers. How difficult is it to keep track of the street/road that you’re on and check the that the house number matches.
Over the phone contacting them and speaking with a representative SUCKS! I mean, its like talking to a brick wall and youre telling them how to do their job. The craziest, weirdest post office experience Ive ever had!

Horrible service. Illegal practices at this location. They will not deliver my mail unless I show photo ID and they verify the mail is addressed to my legal name AND street address. They ALSO tear open my mail and go through it before they will deliver it. horribly Transphobic as well.
If I can give no stars I would ppl delivering mail will not get off to deliver mail so lazy and rude plenty of space to drive up and deliver my wife’s car is a small Honda Fit 15 feet away from mail box but for some reason that is still not enough space to drive up and deliver my mail and when confronting the mail lady she is very rude about it very much out of shape if she can not even get out of vehicle. Even worse calling in to talk to a supervisor rude as whell besides the fact when I do happen to get my mail it’s from a nother address very poor service and badly trained even up the chain of command
Terrible service,they will lie to you because they lied to me. I have tracking information on my packages and it will notify me when its delivered but when I go to my PO box its not there hours later it will finally be there. I hate this PO.

Apparently this place doesnt cash legit money orders. we have tried 2 different times after 3pm, and none of the clerks have any the funds.. EVER.
I have a box at the end of our rd.,I lost my key.I went into the office and purchased a new lock and key.This was last monday.It has been a week I still can not get to my mail.They have not came and changed my lock.I paid 45 dollars and they still have yet to fix the issue.
