Without reservation, I would recommend this dental practice. Dr. Marks has been my dentist for the past 8 months. I have had extensive work done that allows me to evaluate more than a biannual check-up and teeth cleaning. Dr. Marks is gentle and thorough and is interested in my dental health, wellbeing, and expectations. The practice appears to use top-of-the-line digital technology to assist in innovative procedures and evaluations. Dr. Marks and staff make sure you feel welcome, cared for, and comfortable. The office is beautifully and serenely decorated. The greenery and open feel is warmly welcoming while maintaining privacy. This was my first experience with this dentist as I recently moved to the area and it couldnt have gone better. I went in for a checkup due to pressure in my jaw and because I was overdue for a cleaning. My hygienist was Morgan and I would recommend her to anyone she did a fantastic job all around, most pleasant cleaning experience I have ever had. Dr Marks quickly noted the pressure I was feeling was impacted wisdom teeth and noted a couple of issues that I might want to address in future appointments. Roxy the receptionist was juggling several issues at once and still made me a referral to an oral surgeon for my wisdom teeth verifying that they would accept my insurance and got me out in no time. Awesome team all around.

I broke a tooth one evening, called the practice and they were able to squeeze into a last minute cancelation the next day. Dr. Marks filed down the sharp fragments and we discussed treatment strategies. I appreciate his thorough explanations. I recommend him highly. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with financing as well.

From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Marks, Renee, Roxy, and Faith greeted me with such warmth and kindness. Their expertise was quickly illuminated as Dr. Marks assessed and provided a plan of action. I am grateful to have connected with this amazing team.

Been coming to this office for years now. Have unfortunately, seen some great hygienist come and go. Mostly due to retirement and moved away. But, they are always thorough and do a great job. Don’t ever feel rushed and always provide full attentive service. Dr. Marks is always full of good advice and always does a thorough check after the hygienist.

NOTE: I am not a current patient of theirs, as I only work temporarily in State College.My crown fell out and I was trying to speak with someone when they opened, which was at 8am. I called a few times and figured the phones werent letting calls through yet, but when I got ahold of someone at 8:10am (10 mins after they open) she basically said I dont have time to talk to you right now after I explained my situation because they were in their morning meeting.I dont remember the entire call, but the gist was I dont have time, we probably cant get you in, call other places, well get back to you when we can. All while being short, flustered, and in my mind rude as I wasnt an existing patient.UPDATE: I received a call today from the woman I spoke with as my review enticed her to do better. She started apologetic, but then said she listened to the call recording and didnt think she was rude. The call evolved into excuse making and basically felt like arguing with me over what happened. I realized the call wasnt to apologize, but only in hopes to save face and for me to remove my review. Updated to 3 stars for the effort, I guess.

They were extremely careful, safe, and made me feel extremely comfortable going in and out of the office during the visit. Only one person enters at a time, they clean the room in between each person, they have you rinse with a 1% H2O2 rinse, and do a solid travel/health questionnaire before you arrive. Thank you for such a great job!

I just want to say that I dont think this office could do any more to protect their patients and staff from Covid. They meet you at the door, take your temp, have you disinfect your hands and put belongings in a bag, take you right back to a thoroughly sterilized office and are aware of the need to be cautious and of course masked at all times. Covid-wise I felt safer there than just about anywhere else.Dr. Marks is thorough, gentle and answers questions with patience. His entire staff is caring and friendly. I especially appreciate their tolerance when I have to move my appointments around and their knowledge when working with insurance companies. Its just a great place if you are looking for an excellent dental office.

Upon entering Dr. Marks office I was personally greeted and taken directly to my room. They are doing a great job at keeping everything clean and tidy, yet very personable and attentive. I also am a working mother that sometimes has to take my 3 year old in to the office and they are very good at accommodating my crazy schedule and needs while he is with me. They have always informed me of what is going on in my mouth, what I can be doing and what to look for. Lindsey is my dental hygienist there as well and she does amazing! Thank you all!

I recently moved the the area and needed a dentist. Dental Care was amazing and very accommodating. They are following the COVID precautions and the office is very clean! Dr. Marks was very thorough and also gave me information on what I need to look for in my teeth and how to take care of them. I will be going back!!

I needed to establish a new dentist the other day -- been needing to for some time, but I put it off until I started feeling pain in one of my bicuspids and all procrastination disappeared. I chose to go with Dr. Marks because he is close to my house and came highly recommended.The new patient form process was very smooth, handled online securely, and definitely preferable to having to complete in-office.Everyone was super COVID-19 professional from the moment I arrived -- masks, sanitizer, protocols, etc. The staff are really quite good -- and theyre pretty funny! Office is spotless and classy, but still down to earth. All in all, a pretty warm and inviting facility with lots of plants and good energy.Examination rooms are modern and comfortable. My examination went great and Dr. Marks was quite personable. He carefully explained what was going on after the digital x-rays became available, and he was very thorough. The technology here is state-of-the-art, and it is appreciated. In comparison, my last dentist was clearly a ways behind what Dr. Marks can offer. Im impressed with this dentist and the entire office/staff. My entire family will be coming here.

By far the best dentist Ive ever had. Dr. Marks and his staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. Dr. Marks is the only dentist Ive had who takes the extra time to explain every procedure in full detail. He treated my TMJ one year ago and I havent had ANY sleepless nights since! I fully trust Dr. Marks to treat all of my family members and we have only positive things to say about Dr. Marks and all of his staff.

I love this place! Weve never had a dentist so thorough and kind. He explains everything as he goes along and really brings in your total health, not just the state of your teeth. The staff members are very professional, and greet and assist you like they are genuinely happy for your business. He seems to hire only the best hygienists and we always have great experiences with them. Finally, I recommend bringing kids here too, as the doctor and hygienists are very good at engaging with the kids and the parent is allowed/encouraged to accompany the child into the exam room. (The big kids dentist in town does not allow parents to stay with their children during the cleaning or exam!)

I made an appointment for my husband to address his cavity BUT they refused to fill the cavity because they recommended a deep cleaning first! He was there for a cavity from a filling he had in the 70s & a deep cleaning for $1000 is his choice NOT theirs !! I can recommend you change your oil when you come for brakes but that doesnt mean I am going to refuse to repair your brakes because you dont want the oil in your car changed. So he went to my appointment in pain and left their office in pain because he refused their deep cleaning. This place is a joke & their dental practice is all about the money. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy and I will be making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau & the PA Board of Dentistry

The hygienists are really nice, but sadly I had to have multiple fillings and a crown put on here. While having my fillings done Dr Mark would leave the room for long periods of time, which once meant that my general anesthetic wore off so when he went to drill I felt all of it. When he was doing the fillings and the crown I felt like something wasn’t right but I’m not a dentist so tried to forget about it. When I moved and had to get another dentist it turned out that all the filling he had placed had to be replaced, along with the crown.

Dr. Marks and his whole staff are nothing but wonderful! They make me feel so welcome every time I visit the practice. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new dentist.

Just started going here recently. Staff is super friendly, very in depth with your first visit and everyone makes sure you are getting the best care. My old dentist did not do 90% of what was done here. Highly recommend!

Pathetic service! Will never return nor recommend. The dentist, donald, seems to have lost his mind. Cant trust him with me or my family again. theres a crazy lady in the office who keeps running around and has this ridiculous expression on her face. Looks like a mad house.

I started seeing Dr. Marks and his team when I had a dental emergency a few years ago. I have been coming back ever since. The care that I received from this office is nothing but amazing. They explain everything from the procedures to billing in great detail, and make sure all of my questions were answered. The office environment is amazing, I feel more like a friend to office then a patient, I look forward to my visits. Appointments are on time. I would recommend this office to anyone without hesitation. If you are new to the area or looking to find a new dentist Dr. Marks is the way to go!

Go to emergency room for your pain and antibiotics, then visit your regular family dentist Monday morning if I had done this it would have saved me a ton of money when you factor in his ridiculous fees plus lost wages for 2 days and the cost of having to still go to my regular family dentist.I would give 0 stars if possible.

I cannot recommend this dental clinic more wholeheartedly. 3 months ago, I had a cavity drilled incompletely and haphazardly overfilled by another dentist. It caused me great pain to chew on my left side, and pieces of filling would come out every time I flossed. 3 days ago, my entire filling and part of enamel came out. I decided to switch dentists and see Dr. Marks, who drilled my cavity completely, filled it so it was flush with my tooth surface, and checked my bite several times. Throughout the procedure, he talked me through what he was doing. After months of not being able to chew on my left side, after getting treated by Dr. Marks I have zero pain in my mouth and can chew on both sides again! I can floss without parts of my filling coming out! I’m very grateful to him and his staff for fixing my mouth. Very thorough, competent, and great staff. I cannot give a higher recommendation.

The service was fine.But expectations were different .I came here for consulting about teeth braces.They promised me to get braces after filling two of my cavities and charged me for X ray and everything.Afterward they introduced me their annual membership plan with HUGE savings on braces.It was really tempting, so I bought it.After filling two of my cavities, Dr.marks refused to get me braces and recommended me to another orthodontist.Maybe it is not a legally scam or fraud, however you guys made me felt like an idiot.My annual membership goes to dust after only one complimentary teeth cleaning.Good job on the marketing.Now one of my filled teeth got sensitive, and it hurts whenever I drink or eat cold stuff.Even though, Im not sure if the sensitivity is related to the filling, the terrible impression will never go away.Response :Plus, when I came and expilcitly asked for braces, you guys were supposed to state your limitations and incompetence for orthodontics services instead of referring me other services and tempting plan.Perhaps it was my fault to come to you guys without explaining my goal at the first place.Therefore, the responsibility is 50/50, stop covering our mistake with your acerbic apology.AND PLEASE STOP CALLING ME.I dont want any so-called FREE Dental Cleaning.Im with another dentist now, no need to worry about my dental health.

We love Dr. Marks and his entire staff! They are all so friendly that we actually look forward to going to the dentist. Dr. Marks will also go out of his way to help in an emergency. One day I picked my daughter up from school at 3pm to find out she had a broken tooth. He and his staff stayed late to fit her in that evening. We were very grateful. I highly recommend DMFD.

Just had my first examination with them and everyone was pleasant and nice. Dr. Marks was extremely thorough, asked me lots of questions about my background and explained, in detail, what I should be doing for my oral health. The dental hygienist was also very gentle and informative and had a great sense of humor. Im glad that I found them.

Best service you could ask for! I called the morning of and was able to be seen that same days afternoon: I misplaced my retainer that had 2 false teeth on it so I was extremely stressed out, they brought me in and were able to give me a temporary one in the meantime until my permanent one comes in. Staff was so kind. I would give it 10 stars if that was an option!

I came to Dr. Marks with a specific TMJ problem. He reviewed my problem thoroughly and carefully then fixed the problem and the underlying causes. He explains things so well he could easily be a teacher. The office staff and technicians are the very best. They are professional and friendly and treat everyone with respect and kindness.

When no other dentist, including my own, would even try to see me for a broken front tooth, Dr. Marks not only squeezed me in, but also fixed my tooth beautifully.
