I accompanied a friend to Team Blue Car Wash to review the services offered through a “membership”. When we arrived during business hours, there was nobody to be found. Unfortunately, we couldn’t wait for someone to show up so we moved on. I recommend to my friend he get his money back and go to redline. Taking my advice, he went back the following day to get his money back as an unsatisfied customer. THEY WOULD NOT HONOR HIS REQUEST. The is poor customer service. If I could give less than one star, I would.

Great service with a fair price

Fairly put, the exterior quick wash plus hand wax is beyond my expectation. Wheels and tires cleanliness is top notch. And it’s very quick, less than 20mins and it’s done. However, the interior quick clean isn’t as good as ext does. The vacuum work on mat and seat is good enough tho. But some of the sunscreen stains are still on it. Can’t complain too much for a 9 bucks interior clean. I would definitely recommend a quick ext wash plus hand wax but I would not recommend the interior wash for 9 bucks based on my experience. U can save ur 9 bucks and vacuum urself just. Employees r very friendly and communicative. Resting area has plenty seats and cooled enough for hot summer.

I just purchased a new car and it white and they get dirty very easily so I signed up with there monthly service I can get my car washed 7 day s a week very happy 😁

It was amazing, they took my van and cleaned it soooo well. It was easily worth what I paid and much much more! They are fast and just great. I won definitely recommend them to everyone .

We had our car detailed here and they did such a horrible job there were still residue and crumbs in obvious spots. They didnt vacuum under the seats or in the cargo area besides what was easily accessible. The outside still had dirt spots all over it. So we complained to the manager and was given a coupon for a free in and out cleaning plus wax. When we used the coupon some 6 months later that cleaning job was even worse. Dont ever take your vehicle there to be detailed my teenage son can clean the car better than this disgrace of a company!

I dropped my car off at noon (with a scheduled appointment) for a full interior and exterior detail. I was told it would take 3-3.5 hours to complete when I booked over the phone, so I planned to retrieve my car about 2-3 hours before a meeting. Not only did it take them 7 hours to complete the job, I was over an hour late to my meeting. I was told they didnt even start my car until 4.5 hours after I dropped it off. In addition, I specifically asked an employee if they could remove some stickers on my window, and I was told that that specific employee would take care of it. No stickers were touched or even attempted to be removed. I can understand not being able to remove old stickers, but it is unacceptable that I was told it would be completed only to find 7 hours later that they hadnt been touched. Overall, my experience was unacceptable, and I will not be returning. The price is outrageous for the service I received, and no one should be treated this way. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! Only giving 2 stars because the rest of the work was decent and I will give credit where it is due.

Took both of our cars there the past two days. Simply blown away. Cars were externally filthy prior. Clay bar used - 30mins later the finish was smooth as glass with clean interior. Super nice staff as well. Wish I had started going sooner!

3 reasons I rate this place poorly: Unclean towels leaving swirls, then scratches in my new paint! No undercarriage cleaning needed in salty PA. Membership rules are shady. They made me pay full month at the end of the month and said that carries over. Its nice they accumulate, however after they scratched my truck up, I cancel, explain why, with no care nor request to see proof of scratches (perhaps this is a common complaint) The employer tells me the 4 accumulated washes need to be used by the end of the month = 12 calendar days not including holidays. Waste of $. They also have difficulty telling me how many remaining washes i have carried over every visit.Positive: nice waiting room, though you will wait 1 hour every visit. Free coffee and kids TV..Update. More swirling in paint and dirt left on the passanger door of the truck. A buddy that owns the S Atherton storage was compaing trucks right after and noticed right away. Not making this up.

Quoted $75 for the inside and outside cleaning. When I went to get in my car there were straw wrappers in the back, chocolate ice cream still in the door and nothing had been wiped down. They did not take the floor mats out and sweep. Very unimpressed for the price we had to pay. Would never recommend to anyone. Outside was ok but running boards were still dirty.

The young men here are professional and very kind, it is clear they take pride in their work and are diligent; unfortunately it seems that I was an unlucky case. I took my sedan in to get an interior detail, I am impressed with how clean my car is; sadly my carpets and seats were soaked upon return.For the amount of money spent to get this detail I should receive dry seats and dry carpet but these things happen from time to time.Simple solution would be to leave the heat on for an ententes period of time to dry the seats and carpet but I do not have anywhere to leave my car safety do this which is why I am a little irked.I fear I will have to get it re-cleaned in an attempt to get out the inevitable mildew smell that will eventually set in.Great people, good service, but an unhappy customer.

Had scratches on truck from riding in the woods. Got 99% out with just hand buffing and waxing. Truck looks great.

Edit: When they washed my car they created micro abrasions over the entire vehicle. After contacting the location multiple times of the course of a year it is still not resolved and I have heard nothing back from them. It ended up costing $300 to have the paint repaired. The owner, Joe, was informed multiple times of my situation by his employees. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I added photos of the driver side door to their google page.I was not very impressed with the level of cleaning done for the basic washes, it says bug removal but there were still bugs on my front end. Wipe down of dashboard, door panels, instrument panel and center console are VERY brief as on my console there was still leftover loose dirt. The shifter boot had not been touched at all.Team Blue no longer offers any discounts.I went in on a VERY slow day and I was the only customer. I waited at the counter for 2-3 minutes while the guys hung out in the wash bays. When I asked about an interior detailing, i was told they were only by appointment. Maybe there is a specific crew/individual that does detailing, but to read the online ad and it says just ask or by appointment, and then to be told appointment only is quite conflicting...

We took our 2 Mercedes there. They did an outstanding job washing and waxing our cars.

Paid for inside and out. Parked in the handicap spot so my husband could stay in our truck where its warm was told 45 min. Waited over an hour and no one came to let us know it was our turn. Went inside to see whats the hold up after 2 vehicles went in to the bay that arrived AFTER us. And he says our slip got misplaced and no offer to compensate us. Highly doubt we will ever come back here.

Over promise and under deliver. Roll up your sleeves and prepare to do the cleaning yourself AFTER they have done their work. They couldn’t get things right even you point out the problems and ask them to do it for the second times.

Sry expensive price for bad service, they don’t really clean the car, they just makes it look like they are cleaning, the guys answer is this the best service you get for your time and if you need really cleaning you need to pay $20 extra and I already paid $36 for the job.

Very disappointed in what I paid for. Doesnt look like they did much except vacuum the inside of the car. My seat was still wet after they shampooed it. Doesnt smell like they actually used shampoo either. Realized after I left that they didnt vacuum out the inside of my truck so I had to go back. However, very pleasant

First time I went to Team Blue, I get into my car after they were done and found two spray bottles and red towels in my car. Liquid was spilled on my seat and floor of my car. And there was dust all of the front of my dashboard! I called to complain and they gave me a free wax. The next time I went there were streaks on my windows! And it was a quick cleaning. Third time they told me I had to wait as they did my boyfriends car first even though I arrived and checked in before he did. And I told the girl that I had to leave before he did. Her response, we will do his car first and then yours. The FOURTH time they said a 45 minute wait. I checked in to see the status of my car. Another 30-45 minute wait. I would of came back different time. Explained to the manager what happened previously and he said that I never told the girl that I had to leave early. BS! When you have an argument with a customer in the waiting room and believe the employee over me, you lost my respect. The 20 something year old manager has no respect at all and needs to learn some. I told them to take my name out of their account and I will no longer be back. I went somewhere else to get my car clean, great customer service and my car was sparkling.

I drive for uber and lyft. I brought my car in for cleaning and what an excellent job! I would recommend!

We had interior detailing done and we were largely unimpressed by the quality of the service. The carpets and floors were very thoroughly cleaned (easy 5 stars there), but all the rest was mediocre. The door handles felt greasy (is it the price you need to pay for shiny?) and the ceiling was still dirty at multiple spots with dried fruit staines. We have had child in the car few weeks ago who created multiple small drops on the ceiling, but I would assume that if you offer detailing service, you would know how to deal with those. Its literally few drops of fruit, not some chemical stain. Worst of all, all seats were wet (enough to feel very uncomfortable), despite having the car there overnight. The towel they provided for the drivers seat didnt help. I could understand why backseats wouldnt be complete dry, but drivers seat? Come on! How hard is it to blow hot air on it for few minutes? We wont use this service again (although I must repeat again, the floors were done amazingly and exceeded all expectations).

I occasionally get the interior and exterior cleaning combo. They run your mats through a quick but effective laundry cycle. They vacuum and wash large interior surfaces. They do a thorough job and check with you if youre satisfied. They offer detailing services but i have not tried them. Not sure if they get under the car to wash away salt, which is critical to prevent rust in PA.

I had a large can of motor oil spilled into my trunk with some detergent! These guys are pros, they did a great job cleaning it all up! Tough jobs like these takes professional tools and expertise, Team Blue delivered that! Dillon, who helped with the job, really went above and beyond cleaning out some of personal items that were soaked in oil.

I opt for the Unlimited Interior/Exterior Hand Wash plan which is $63 per month. This is a great deal in the winter if you like to keep the salt off your car. The regular interior/exterior wash is about $27 so if you wash more than twice a month, youre winning! I wash my car at least once a week so its cheaper than if I were to do it myself at the self-wash booth.Aside from the great prices, they work pretty quickly and do a great job cleaning the car. They are in a rush when its busy so they may miss a small spot but not a big deal (I drive a white car so its tough to tell).Would recommend to anyone who likes clean cars!

My feelings are mixed.... I am a very regular customer of Team Blue, and I don’t pay for a membership so they get about double the membership cost out of me, plus I tip them every time... In a whole they do an exceptional job. I understand most of their staff is younger as well... when I go in each time, I ask them to please be sure to look over something particular and it’s very frustrating each time they pull my car out, I have to ask “Can I use your towel” so I can taking care of what I asked them to look at the most. I don’t want anything for free, but take care of your regular clients, especially ones that pay.. All in all they do a great job, and I still do recommend them, just please listen to the customers request of what they want, they are your best marketing resource... it’s how i became a customer myself, WORD OF MOUTH

I have been coming to Team Blue for years, I actually do not remember my first visit it was so many years ago. I recommend getting a membership if you get your car washed a lot, defiantly worth the cost. They staff there is great, very friendly and happy to help; and they do a great job at cleaning the car. They amaze me how they can get all the dog hair out of my mats.

DON’T bring your car here. They left all the trash inside and didn’t even bother to throw open bottles and used napkin. I had to come back and tell them what and where to clean. Good place to waste your money

Been coming here for about 3 years to just get a basic exterior and interior cleaning. They do a good job for a pretty decent price. I have no complaints.

The people who work there are friendly and fun to talk to. I love the fact they hand wash my car and hand dry it. I always get both the outside and inside of my car. Since I do Uber a lot my car get dirty pretty quickly on weekends. I clean it Fri and Mon. The people I pick up always complement me on how clean my car which is bc of Team Blue. I also enjoy when they pull it outside they go over it again checking for possible wet areas. They make sure they hit all the spots where water has run out of areas. I enjoy going there and recommend to everyone.

I have gone to this car wash on and off for the last several years. I am really disappointed as I feel the quality of service has gone down and the while the wait for service has gone up. It used to be good when Sean was the GM, but since he and Jen have left, it is like the management does not even care. The later in the day you go the worse it is. Sad because it used to be a good place to go to get your car done. Just really disappointed that the ownership does not care more about their business.

This is the worst experience Ive had in my 50 years of getting cars detailed. I have a 2007 Avalanche (kept in pristine condition) that was brought in for a full detail ($229+tax). I would have been better off having the car washed and vacuumed for $30. The lack of follow through and follow up my the manager were completely unprofessional. The number of things wrong and not completed were numerous...I will mention a few.1. Wheels far from being detailed, dirt still in between spokes of wheel.2. Spot on carpet on passenger side from some cleaning solution.3. Car mats not cleaned, laid on back seat, never cleaned or put back into place.4. Dash mat not put back properly, haphazardly thrown back on dash.5. Door sills not cleaned or detailed (or waxed) on both sides of vehicle.6. Console not cleaned out, still visible dirt, obvious not cleaned.The list goes on...for the amount that was paid this is robbery. Dont ever use this company, they are terrible!!!

I had my brand new 2 week old car of my dreams that cost me 80k that I had just driven from NY to State college taken here. It had a lot of dust on it. I detail my own car - but decided to go here because Ive seen other good cars here and was kinda feeling lazy. My bad. I told the manager that I had a lot of dust on the car - thinking she would know what to do. Next the guy cleaning it - I told him that again and TOLD him to use something to blow of the dust first. Just a gentle reminder. They then proceeded to rub it down with cloth -and all I did was feel helpless and cringe from across the glass. Needless to say they gave me countless dust scratches all over my new car. And even managed to miss a large dirty spot. When I pointed this out- I was told it was a stain in the paint. And then I had to reach down to it and scrub it with my finger nails to show them that is wasnt so. And then they cleaned it. Thanks a lot! Im never ever going back in there. Dont go in there if you expect expert detailing, or know anything about anything when it comes to cars. Its these high school - college kids mindlessly rubbing down cars. Do yourself a huge favor and clean your own car. Car washes are so much more cheaper, professional and so much careful everywhere else. Exterior wash is 20 dollars here wow! They lean heavily on advertisement to convey how very professional and good they are- I wish their actions spoke for them. I also wish I never went there and didnt have these marks on my new car.

Left a scratch across the entire trunk lid. Originally said they would cover it after finding a piece of plastic on a new sponge from the price tag. Owner then refused to cover the damages they caused.Ive been going here for years and often refer friends/family here. However, after this experience I would not recommend their services and will no longer be coming back.

Folks - Ive never written a review before, but feel compelled to, due to the horrible experience I had at the Lansdale location and lack of response from the headquarters of this company.I took my car in for a hand wash 2 months ago. I told the person that the car had a ceramic coating on the paint and the wheels and asked if that would be affected by any of the cleaners they use. He assured it would be no problem. Couldnt be further from the truth. The hand wash was poorly done; spots and streaks, etc. But the job done on the wheels ate away the ceramic protection and damaged the surface of the wheels. I had to return the car to the person who normally details my car and $400.00 later the wheels were about 95% back to where they were before the job at Blue Team. I called the owner, I stopped in and spoke to the owner and asked him to cover the cost of the repair. He declined. I called and email the corporate team and never got any response. Its been 2 months!! BOTTOM LINE: If you care about the appearance of your car; especially if its a high line vehicle; AVOID THIS COMPANY AT AT ALL COST!!! Or it may cost you as it did for me.

I had very high expectations for this place however I was thoroughly and utterly disappointed. The price for exterior and interior is $30 which is already absurdly expensive. And on top of that they did such a poor job cleaning my car. There was still trash, streak marks still on the windows. And worse of all, when I complained about certain scuff marks on the exterior, the guy said that they couldnt do anything about it despite the fact that I was scratching the marks off with my fingernail. Water marks were all over the windows and body of my car. The back seat was left wet, they didnt thoroughly vacuum the trunk, and the waxing I paid for wasnt even noticeable. Dont be fooled by their complimentary Starbucks coffee because its not worth the horrendous wash job. I never write reviews but I want to be able to warn everyone else that this place is a waste of time and money.

Staff was friendly and helpful. If you can stomach the prices ($20 for an exterior wash, up from there), it is the place to go. I would much rather pay that much for a hand wash than to save a few bucks and be disappointed at nearby Red Line.

For regular inside and outside wash costs 29.99 + tip. I dont think it is an inexpensive option when comes to washing your car. The washing process from beginning to end doesnt take that long. 10-15 max. It is the waiting until your car gets picked for the washing that takes about 30-45 mins. I went on a cloudy and rainy day on purpose to avoid the long wait and I still waited for about 30 mins. I have seen people/students to drop off their car to be picked up way later as they come with friends. I guess that could be an option if you dont want to wait in the lobby. Lobby itself is OK I guess, definitely not comfortable. Kind of reminded of airport seatings. I think there was a TV. and thats about it.Quality of wash is mediocre. They will definitely NOT DO a thorough job. Everything is washed but with minimum effort. So keep that in mind.

I had a very bad experience recently. I got a white car. After the internal and external wash + wax, I can still see lots of dirt residues on my car doors, handles, windshield, headlights...My boyfriend was there with me, so he asked the guy of the store to come over. So my boyfriend had to take over the cloth and mob the dirt off by himself while the guy was watching. I dont think it is worthwhile to pay for 34 dollars for this. I dont think they pay enough attention on their work.. Not going to go there anymore.

Came here and the front desk agent told me its about 30mins wait so I just left for a lunch about 35 mins later I came back and just saw another car came after me has stepped over the lane. The agent said sorry I thought you would come back 1 hour later so I just let others before you. besudes, the service was good but just would not come again.

I have been living here for the last five years and this is the BEST carwash in town. (Better than the other red wash.) Team blue service is outstanding as the results always are... more importantly, they have free starbucks coffee while you wait for your car!!! Honestly dont understand why some people complain about this place.. try it you will not regret it!

Went for an exterior & interior cleaning today (usually just get the exterior). The place was empty so figured maybe the staff would take a little extra time...what a joke! I couldnt believe how fast they were finished; driving home I noticed dirt/dust STILL on the interior doors, dashboard, steering column. They didnt even do such a great job on the exterior. I had been warned that Team Blue does a bad interior cleaning...no kidding! Never again, will do the inside myself which I usually do anyway.

This was my second and last time I ever use this place. My sunroof was broken when I picked up the car from a full $200 detail this last time. Manager completely denied it.Of course when I picked up my car when the sunroof was broken, no notes were left about it. When the manager called me, he said the staff tried to open the sunroof, but it didnt work, so they left it. Why wasnt I told this when I picked it up? Sunroof did open, but the clips were broken that keep it on the track. Sunroof was in perfect working order the day I dropped it off as I was using it all day.First full detail my rubber console mat and all my change was removed and lost. They also left someone elses car safety kit in my car. Giving them the benefit of the doubt it was an honest mistake the first time, I had another full detail done and this time my sunroof was broken when I picked up the car. Cup holders were not cleaned and again, someone elses CD collection was left in my car. Ridiculous!

Easy to get there and they clean your as like Cristal and also clear like snow...

Ive used Team Blue Hand Car Wash for a number of years now, and I recommend them to anyone looking for a superior detailing job. I was a head detailer of motorhomes, coaches, and trailers for a large motorhome detailer in Ohio for about 4 years in my youth, so I think I have a pretty good idea of what good detailing looks like. These folks do a very, very good job, and while not everything is always perfect, the more you go back, the cleaner theyll keep your vehicle. It seems like all the really nice cars in the area have visited here, and they keep coming back. People who own Porsches, Bentleys, Jaguars, Ferraris, BMWs, Mercs, McLarens, and Lambos are pretty particular about the care of their vehicles, and Team Blue has their respect and business.

I have lived in State College for 23 years and until now have been a repeat customer. Brought my car in to have the upholstery cleaned as I do every year, which I confirmed via text. When I returned 1.5 hours later, they had cleaned the carpets instead. They subsequently shampooed the seats but refused to offer any discount whatsoever for the fact that I had to sit for an *additional* 1.5 hours (3 hours total) while they fixed their mistake. The manager was unaccommodating and rude.While I was in the lobby, two other customers had issues that the manager made zero effort to remedy. One hadnt been told that there were three cars in front of him and had been waiting well over an hour before he asked for his money back, and the second requested a Penn State discount, which Team Blue hasnt offered for years, despite it being listed on the Penn State affiliate website (the manager refused to honor it).I dont know whats happened to this place but its gone to hell when it comes to customer service. Ill happily pay $30 more at my dealer for my annual upholstery cleaning, because Ill never support this place again. I hope the $65 they charged me was worth the loss of a lifelong customer, and the business of my family and friends. I used to even buy gift cards for Christmas gifts, but those days are over. Customer service here is dead.
