Authentic service with fair price. I went there for a check up prior to my travel. I feel they treated my car fairly and give me good recommendation instead of trying to rip me off (I certainly feel that from another big chain autocare mxxxx so I am grateful I could find this autocare in my neighborhood!

I limped in with a disconnected gear cable, driving without a couple gears. They had me sorted within an hour. Awesome service, real problem solvers.

I had a complex issue with my car that happened intermittently. I took it to a local shop in Stamford and they diagnosed the issue and repaired it along with some other misc repairs. Only to find out that they did not resolve the issue. I took it back to them and they were frustrated and rude about it as it were not their problem after spending ~$500 with them.A friend recommended Scottys, so thats where I took it next. They were extremely accommodating and friendly. They understood my situation and were willing to work with me to ensure that I ended up happy with the result. After diagnosing the issue by using their high tech computer diagnostics along with their network for identifying complex issues, they called me to give me a quote which was very fair and competitive.They finished the work in the time they estimated and were more than accommodating to my schedule to pick it up. These guys are top notch!The next day they called me to make sure the issue was resolved and genuinely cared. Unlike the other guys who just took my money. My issue was finally resolved and the car is running like new again.Everybody should go to Scottys, they are a great local business and very hard working, they earn their living in an honest way and I will be going here for all my repairs and maintenance moving forward.

If you dont know where to bring your car this is the place to go!! My truck had what I thought was transmission issues and with Christmas and so many other expenses that had unexpectedly came up I can barely afford an oil change at this time so I searched all Google reviews asked everyone I knew and still it was a shot in the dark.. my truck had what I thought at the time was transmission issues. I ended up calling Scottys at 3 on a Thursday they said they most likely could not get to my car until Monday I dropped it off they said they would do their best at least diagnose the issue ASAP but most likely wont be in till Monday. they called me Friday before lunch and said they diagnosed it and it was not a major issue, they also made me aware of another issue with my car that I was already aware of but had forgotten about the second repair could have Been expensive and most places would have solicited the work for themselves Scottys made me aware of a place that specializes in fixing the part that I need done for a quarter of what it would cost anyone else and gave me their name and number and said that is my best bet, they diagnosed and fixed my truck immediately save me money on a forgotten about repair that was needed and dealt with my second party warranty company all without issues or complaints( my second party warranty company is not the easiest to deal with) as I mentioned I am on a very very tight budget this was a shot in the dark but now at least I have a place that I know I can trust and have a long relationship with just wanted to pass on this information to anybody who was in the position I am there are tons of choices out there and most of them you wont know it was the wrong choice until its too late so I would recommend making the right choice and going to Scottys

Scottys was everything you want out of your mechanic! They have a flexible schedule and will go out of their way to come in early/stay late if you work long hours.They were knowledgeable, quick, and the price was more than fair. Scotty took the time to explain to me the issue my car was having and then followed up to make sure I was satisfied and the issue was fixed.The dealership wanted double what I paid just to take a look at my car. I will be going to Scottys for all my car repair needs in the future.

I have been to Scottys multiple times, and they are always great at tracking down and fixing mysterious noises. They always explain what needs to be fixed and why. Honest, quality work, with the best price. As long as I live in the area, I will take my car to Scottys.

I just moved here and needed someone to look at my car due to leaking oil. I had just had work done before driving it from Texas for the move. My husband is still in Texas and wanted to find someone here we could trust. Scotty was thorough, patient, fair and helpful treating me like one of his own family. Found my local mechanic!

I was on a trip with a friend my engine light came on driving down to New York. We took it into Scottys to get it checked out. It was New Years Eve and they drove an hour and a half to get the part. He took care of it same day and took us to the train station so we could make it into New York. He came into the shop on New years day so we could pay him and pick up the car so we could drive back to Wisconsin. Amazing service! We wanted to take this mechanic shop home with us here in Milwaukee because I have never had such great service.

On a scale of 1-5 (5 being best) Scottys is a bonafide 100. I cannot speak highly enough of the service and hospitality Scotty provides--not to mention he is trustworthy. He tells it to you straight, without trying to up-sell you. I found Scotty when I was living in Stamford, I recently moved to Weston and will never hesitate to make the trip to Scottys.

By far the best auto mechanics that Ive dealt with ever!

I had an issue with my transmission in Ford Focus 2005. Scotty, took care of the problem nicely, took care time to explain. He tried couple of things to fix broken transmission before actually replacing. He was really trying to keep my repair cost low. I recommend this repair facility to anyone.

Scotty has become my go to mechanic, his pricing is very competitive when compared to dealers and has assisted on last minute.

I am thrilled with the service Scotty himself delivered for me this week. I received a quote from the Midas in downtown Stamford for brakes for my 2003 Altima, and Scotty replaced my brakes (rotors and pads), rack and pinion, lower motor mount, tie rods, and changed my oil and filters for less money! He also got all of the work done in less than two days, which was mighty impressive. My car is like new again.I cant recommend Scottys enough!
