Upscale apartment complex in a desirable location. This property has fantastic amenities, and the apartments are well designed. The staff was also very friendly and upbeat. This complex is definitely worth checking out.
We love living at 111 Harbor Point. We just renewed. The staff is very professional. Maintenance issues are handled quickly and efficiently. The atmosphere is very positive and friendly and we love our apartment and the accoutrements ie, beautiful pool and outdoor facilities as well as indoor gym and lounge area for tenants. We have had a very positive experience.
The good: Nice building, nice staff. Clean, good amenities and great view. The bad: Walls are paper thin, construction did terrible job insulating us from each other and street noise. Tiny closets. The ugly: Hefty rent increases every year, even during pandemic, not cool.
Active, vibrant community thats near everything (restaurant, shops, I95, train station, downtown, etc.) Maintenance is very friendly & responds quickly.
The 2 gentlemen were efficient, knowledgeable, professional and pleasant
I recently moved out due to poor living conditions. I loved my apartment for the first two years, and in the last year, the building management staff has been unresponsive. If you are looking for a new place, avoid this building, especially avoid the 8th floor. In the past year, we have been disturbed by drilling at 2 am, and 3 am for the span of 2 weeks, witnessed domestic violence from 3 different apartments, and the constant smell of marijuana fills the hallways. Not to mention the occasional appearance of drug mules hiding behind hallway walls. This is not a safe place to move and is currently undergoing serious issues.I would AVOID.
The front desk grace is great. The leasing office Especially Shakira is horrible
We have been living here since September. We love it so far, the staff is great, building are clean & well maintained. Always some sort of fun activities going on (always Covid friendly) currently sitting at a holiday concert in our lobby! Definitely recommend moving here!
Recently moved out from 111 Harbor Point. Super dog friendly and a staff that loved him too. Grace and Renel are terrific and Kathy has always been helpful.Maintenance is friendly and responsive. It’s a shame that Fairway closed.Moved out to buy a home now that I’m not going to the city anymore.I recommend it.
Quick and effective!
I just moved to harbor point a mouth ago and I can say that I had a great experience with the move in I had a women name shakira that help me in leasing and she made the process easy for me she was very professional and keep me updated through the whole process i would recommend this place to anyone.
He was very kind, quickly handled the problem, and professional.
111 Harbor Point is a great place to live. The management, staff, amenities and living space are top notch and it has the best pool in town! We love it here!
The most incompetent management and leasing staff I’ve ever dealt with in my life.
After living across the other side of Stamford, Shakira helped me get acquainted into our new apartment. This community is beautiful, a walk to a couple of bars and restaurants - and will only be a matter of time before wegmans or whole foods moves into the fairway that just left with the covid hit.Amenities are here, the train station is close, and the community is pleasant. Thanks Shakira for getting us in quickly and efficiently.
111 Harbor point Staff was excellent - I had a excellent experience living.Rudy Armstrong - 111 Harbor point resident
Beautiful building with lovely apartments. I just signed on for my 3rd year. We moved here for what was supposed to be a temporary stay after selling our family home and decided that we loved apartment living. I highly recommend 111 Harbor Point. BL
My husband and I have lived at 111 Harbor Point for nearly three years and have thoroughly enjoyed being here. Life doesnt get much easier or more convenient. We walk to the grocery store (1 block) and multiple excellent restaurants. Its a 5 min walk to the train station or we hop on the free trolley to the station if its too cold or raining. Theres also a free trolley that takes us to downtown Stamford, the mall area and Target. Our dogs have loved being here as well. From the groom room where we can wash the dogs in a stainless steel tub (the kind professionals use) to multiple parks and an enclosed play area all within a short walk, life is easy and fun for dogs. The staff here at 111 has been great too, whether working with the front office or maintenance. Our concierge staff is amazing! Marleen, Paul, Kate, Will and Shelly (to name a few) are so friendly and helpful. Its nice to know our packages, dry cleaning and grocery deliveries are safely kept in a climate-controlled and locked room until we are ready to pick them up. The amenities are outstanding. A fully-equipped exercise room, game room and community room with a fireplace and large TVs allow us to get out of the apartment and meet other tenants. A huge pool and pool deck area with fire pits and large gas grills with bar seating on the 5th floor level get us outdoors. To top things off, we enjoy a remarkable view of the Long Island Sound and the Manhattan skyline. We could not be happier!
Good community within the building. Really nice pool, gym, good views on any floor, close and easy to get to cvs/fairway/nightlife.Current resident & happy with the building management. Excited for a summer here.
If you ever wish to be insulted, humiliated and experience how CUSTOMER SERVICE should NEVER BE, deal with the folks here.I wish i could give ZERO STARS.I had a very bad experience trying to rent out the apartment at these apartments. I paid the application fee and security deposit for an apartment to reserve it online since it was showing available immediately. Later I was called and told the existing tenant has decided to extend the lease on the apartment. Why would they allow to rent out the apartment if existing tenant can still extend it?My (security deposit + Application fee )went in one shot and then when i tried to follow up there was no response for 3-4 days from anyone on the status. I had to personally go to the leasing office to get things resolved(moving from out of state). They took 3-4 days to cancel my application and i havent still received the refund of which they said would take WEEKS since it comes from coporate. This is ridiculous. Also whenever you try to reach them on phone a lady called Grace from Concierge would answer the phone and never has she able to get the line to any of the leasing agents. On top of that she is very rude and would just hang up the phone on you and just say the leasing agents are busy with other customers or touring anytime of the day you call them. The agents say they would get back to you on the status of you application and you never hear back from them. Avoid these apartments. There are much better options on the other side of I95 close to or in downtown and closer to shopping dining and malls. These apartments are a rip off.
I have to agree with all of the recent comments. I moved out in January and I couldnt be happier. The location, maintenance team, and the apartment themselves are great but the fees and the management sucks. Leasing manager looks for increased $ at every opportunity, isnt reasonable in accommodating asks, and there havent been any improvements at the place even with the increased rent. Parking was switched around multiple times b/c people were in my spot and the office didnt have it straightened out. Dont bother talking to the leasing manager because he is rude, doesnt care about his clients, and incompetent. If they had a better leadership staff in place I have no doubts this would be one of, if not the, best place to rent in Stamford. Highly recommend looking at alternatives in the area as there are several others with probably a better staff and will be worth saving the frustration.
Mixed experiences here, but very disappointed in the surprise rent increases. They raised our rent over $200/mo after our first year, increased “amenity fees,” and added a $300/yr parking fee (they touted free parking in our contract as a reason to move in). There’s a water leak in the ceiling of our bathroom that we’ve asked to have fixed several times and they just sand and paint it but don’t fix it. Like that it’s close to Fairway market and walkable to the train station. Few really good restaurants in the area - plan to drive elsewhere most of the time. Also had a very insulting and off-putting experience with one of the leasing managers last time we were considering renewing. I’d definitely recommend checking out other options before settling on this one.
Ive lived here for over 2 years during BLTs reign, and now that Pinnacle owns this property its HORRRRRRIBLE!!!! Its so bad that when things go wrong in the apartment I question whether or not I should contact them immediately to prevent being talked down to. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, I had issues with my apartment and management was horrible! They spoke to me as if I was beneath them and uneducated! There was a manager by the name of Nancy and they unfortunately removed her, she was awesome and had great customer service! If youre black and are standing at the front door they hesitate opening the door for you! I CAN NOT WAIT for my lease to end, so I can spend my money elsewhere!!!! They make it seem like theyre doing you a favor by renting the apartment to you, as Jonathan (Pinnacle manager) said This isnt your apartment, its mine! Although Im the one paying rent!!
I did some Handyman work there... I have to say its spacious, clean and secure...Handy Herb
Nice Chill spot
Since BLT sold the building to Pinnicle it has been terrible. Was here 3 years and cant wait till my lease is up.
