Though I’ve only been here twice, I’ve greatly enjoyed it both times! We were here as part of a birthday party, and the pool definitely had attractions for all ages. The lazy river is fun for adults and kids to go around, the in pool basket ball court is fun, though not many people were playing with the hoops while we were there. The slides were fantastic! Normally I’m kind of a one and done person with slides, but on these ones I kept going back for more! The pool was pretty empty on a Thursday evening- I would definitely go back, and recommend it to others!
Thank you SO much for organizing the doggy dive. What a fun experience it has been last year and this year. It was a fantastic decision for your city to allow it! If only the surrounding cities were so in touch with their citizens. Keep it up! My city doesn’t offer it sadly. I might just have to buy a membership even though I live south! Thanks again!
Phenomenal location and included a lot of cool amenities. One of my favorites was a swimming suit spinning device to dry it in 8 seconds. They have family bathrooms. They have separated pools for laps and family fun which is nice for those there to work out and a place for kids. They also have a 2 slides that are above par for a community pool. I was very impressed with this place and plan to be a regular here.
Great gym and childcare is nice ($2 per hour). The public pool is great and fun for children (has an indoor and outdoor option).
This relatively new rec center is a delight. It has fantastic swimming facilities and great exercise equipment, ball courts, and similar facilities. It is very family oriented. The only drawback is that they seem to struggle to keep a full staff and consequently close some facilities when people dont show up for their shifts.
We are new to the area and have done lessons with other rec centers with my older kids. My 11 year old is currently in beginning diving. The app worked well to sign him up and the class is a great fit for him. I like how the teacher runs things and it is exactly what I expected it to be. Thanks so much for offering this opportunity!
Got the family pass! Wish I would have done so sooner! Great time hanging in the pool with the kiddos! Excited to take advantage of the gym the too!
Went here to jump off the high dive and low dive but theyre only open on Saturdays. Which didnt make sense because all the swimming lanes were completely empty
We came for a birthday party and it was fun. Perfect for kids. Family setting! Slides open at noon as well as the outdoor pool. Fun place to swim!
I needed somewhere with a lap pool and spin bikes to train while in Springville for a few days. This facility is excellent and day passes are very reasonably priced. The 25m pool has lots of lanes so no waiting or sharing. The spin bikes are really nice and calculate speed from power output (very similar to Zwift). They have lots of other amenities too. Highly recommend !!!
Your instructors are inspiring and encouraging, your facility is spotless, the front desk staff are courteous, and the life guards are vigilant. 10/10 recommend!
The cleanliness of this facility is a joke. There is mold everywhere you look. Aside from how fifthly everything is the fitness music is beyond too loud and the instructors yell in the microphone over the top of it. It is earsplitting and very uncomfortable. I will not be coming back to this facility and I will make sure anyone I speak to knows what a horrible place this really is.
Awesome pool. Clean, fun, lots to do. Really fun slides and obstacle course
Its fun and enjoyable, dont like how pools are closed in the morning tho, also there isnt much gym equipment. But still a fun place to go with friends or family.
Its really nice here the family and I have been here almost twice a every month this summer its super clean and they have a good number of family changing rooms that get a little log jammed but all together a great place
I love that there are classes for my kids to join. My 9 year old loves the crc kids class and my 6 year old loves the yoga class. I can workout myself while they are in their classes. Their teachers are phenomenal!
Great pools for the family. Wonderful swimming lessons. Fun slides and diving boards. I just wish it wasnt sooo popular. It can get uncomfortably crowded (and a little dangerous for little swimmers) in the lazy River with the teenagers playing tag.
The staff here are young and poorly trained. They arent good about cleaning the center, and they arent focused. I do not blame this on them but rather the management, or lack of management. The management is terrible, they arent well trained either and are almost never present. Its extremely disappointing. Not only is the staff not great, the actual building isnt great either. You can tell its not very clean, and the staff dont work hard to keep the building facilities clean.
There are fun things to do here, but the communication could use some work. The website isnt very informative and the information is often not up to date (like when theyre advertising a sale and have calendar items that ended a week ago). Information such as the pool hours and how theyre affected during summer for swimming lessons, or what time the outdoor pool and indoor slides open, should all be readily available on the website, but theyre not. I also think itd be helpful if you didnt have to create an account in order to see pricing for lessons. Just an overview that anyone can access would be really helpful. Its a pain trying to book things like swimming lessons (you can only book 1 person through the app even if you have a family pass and need to book for multiple people, and trying to book them through the website has led to lots of errors, like being charged a non-member fee even when you have a membership! Its also super annoying that on the website, theres not a way to narrow down classes to show only those ones that are available, rather than seeing the entire list--like the list of ALL of the swimming lessons, which all say Sign Up Now!, only to click it and see that the class is full. So, yeah, cool place, but better communication and a better system for reserving lessons/classes would make a BIG difference in customer satisfaction.
The staff is super nice and helpful. The facility is always VERY clean. It is very fun and family friendly!
The instructors of every class Ive been to have been incredible and motivating. The rec center is so clean and comfortable, and the staff are so helpful and kind.
I’ve been working out here for 6 months now and I like that it’s a very laid back atmosphere. Granted it’s not very big but usually it doesn’t get packed until the afternoon/evening when all the kids get out of school. There’s swimming pools, basketball courts and an indoor track.
Great rec. Center but there swim classes are to crouded the twinges and hinge is a joke way to crowded
The staff/costumer service at this place is horrible. And whatever you do, DO NOT walk around the pool barefoot! I got big warts on my feet from the disgusting floor that isnt cleaned. Im very disgusted by this. Ive been to this rec center many times, never once have I seen anyone cleaning. This place is nasty and dirty, you have been warned!
Facility is beautiful, clean and has a lot of great variety of equipment and classes. The non-lane pool side is heated to a really nice warm temp. Staff is friendly but not super helpful. When I inquired about a membership and asked to tour the facility, I was kind of just left to myself to figure out where everything was and wasnt offered any guidance or instructions. Found out on my own that theres a very helpful app for the rec you can download to reserve classes, etc.
Meredith is absolutely awful. Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will not be back and I will make sure many of my friends and family will no longer attend this facility.
So, where to begin, 1. It is too small for what is needed in the area, why not plan for the future and growth, not build something that isn’t even enough for the population you already have. 2. The price for memberships is way too expensive, especially for how small and crowded it gets. 3. I’m not sure if this is still the case, but they charge memberships for 3 yr olds, then they charge for day care for that same child with a membership, that’s dishonest. Also, why would you charge a membership for a 3 yr old, that’s ridiculous! 4. I have seen and talked with employees and former employees that were forced to do certain hours and work that was not appropriate for the situations we’ve dealt with in the past year and a half. They force their employees into certain work that they shouldn’t have to do, then threaten them with their jobs. 5. The quality of construction and the equipment put together was rushed and dangerous! Then they have employees who have no clue what they are doing fix things, that’s just a great idea! (That’s sarcasm just in case you missed it!)6. Now I have had some personal experiences and interaction with some of the managers and higher up individuals at this place. I have also heard other stories from others that have had interactions with some of the same people. I will not share anything that was not my personal experience though. Most of the issues I’ve had is with 1 individual, however their treatment of others obviously reflects to a certain extent on other employees there. This person is unprofessional, rude, and unethical in his interactions I have had. They do not know how much I dislike them nor have I told them, I have sat back and watched and observed how they treat others and it makes me sick! This place could be better if they changed a few key things and replaced a few (mainly 1 person) and it would be, better maybe 3 stars! 7. I’ve noticed a lot of the positive reviews about this place come from employees or those who teach classes, that’s not dishonest (that’s sarcasm again!)
Great pickelball courts and good lighting at night
Very clean and well cared for! I recently started swimming during the pandemic and I love it! Their pools are great temperatures (some lap pools are like 5 or more degrees cooler than the one here), and my family always has fun here. The gym area is quite nice as well. Lots of machines, a track, some courts, and rooms for classes. I haven’t taken any classes but I’ve seen plenty of them and they look like fun.
Beautiful facility, great pool, well maintained and modern equipment, and really nice people. Im here nearly every day!
I would NOT recommend. Just moved to the area coming from a fabulous gym that I payed way less. 3yr olds need membership. Not quite sure why because you’ll still be paying for any lessons offered + daycare. To me it seams like they are double/triple dipping in that aspect. The equipment and space is limited no one cleans the equipment other then members after use so they are dusty. I just feel it’s way over priced for what is offered from my personal experience...I will not be keeping my membership.
Not what I expected. Still great to have a rec center in Springville.Day passes are not badly priced. I feel like memberships are a bit much for what is offered. Weight machines, not a whole lot. Plenty of treadmills and cycling machines.Little splash pad for kids is super small. I’m glad there are lap lanes for adults only. The lazy river can get super annoying with over crowding with teenagers. The spa was poorly placed. Getting splashed all the time while sitting in the spa by people landing in the pool of water when they come out of the slide. Spas were not meant for little children and there constantly in the Spa.Staff seem to be friendly.
We love Clyde Rec center! The staff and lifeguards are polite and helpful. The front desk staff are always happy and friendly and the janitor is super sweet and kind! All of my kids have something to do at Clyde. My son does the weights, my daughter is on the amazing swim team. I do laps in the lap pool and my twins love to swim in the lazy river. Its not ever too crowded either!
Love this facility. Wish it wasnt so far west.
I am a lifetime resident of Springville and I was against the city building it. I have reconsidered after using it. It is well thought out and not over sized. I am glad to see the pricing set to pay for what you use and not a burden to to taxpayers. My biggest fear was it would run in the RED. Everyone that has help me there has been great and helpful . I am going in today to get my year pass. Thank you to the Clyde family for helping with it I have know many of you for years. But I still miss Park Ro Shay. Springville is getting way to big. I liked it when we had 9000 people living here not the 36,000 of today!
Kids love the pool. The high dive and the water slides are their favorite. Front desk staff is friendly and informative.
Nice medium size rec center, not to crowded
Fun for all! I highly recommend the family membership! We can go workout while someone watches the kids for us and then we can all have some fun together in the lazy river.
Fun place to go swimming with kids. The kids swimming lessons are fun too. The rest of the facility is nice too.
Only been once but cant wait to go again! Nice pool with a lazy river connected to it!
Fun instructors and classes. Great value for the price of a membership.
Nice entertainment for the family, full gym on big place, nice view.
Clean rec center. Not huge but has a nice indoor pool. Prices are too high for membership fees and even a daily pass if you are taking children just to swim.
Love this place so much! I’m just waiting the virus situation to be over to get my family’s membership again. It’s a very clean and well maintained recreation center with options for all family. They also have a day care that in my opinion is a must in a place that has so many activities for women, you can go to your classes and leave your little ones in a place that you know they will well cared. This rec center is without doubt one of the best places Springville has.
CRC has it all. Great community center.
It’s frustrating that the staff at the Clyde Rec Center takes longer than 24 hours to respond to customers e-mails.
There is not enough equipment to work out. We are always waiting on line to use anything in the gym. Watch your step because you are constantly running into people when you are working out!
Its a great place to go exercise and swim. They have an awesome helpful and friendly staff as well.
Super friendly staff, great little rec center. They have done their best to keep everyone safe and stay open during Covid restrictions
Very nice staff. Even the people that came to swim were so nice. Thank you for a fun day.
We just went to this place for the 1st time a couple weeks ago (have been back several times since)We got a membership. I honestly love the whole place. I have young kids and the pools make it so easy to keep an eye on them and let them roam safely. I love that the lifeguard outside constantly walks around and checks all corners, every single life guard every time we are there, love it. I love that it has a gym & child care. Child care is closed now but I can’t wait to take full advantage of that. The staff is super friendly & everything is kept very clean. 5/5 for my family!
Alway come here when on vacation, friendly staff, clean facility!
This is a great facility. The issue it has it that they built it too small. I know there are budget constraints, but Springville missed an opportunity to have a really great regional facility. It does serve a wide area especially since it has indoor swimming, but its going to become so busy they wont be able accommodate everyone. But, maybe they dont want to. 1🤷♂️
We went Clyde recreation center but we doing zumba dancing we like it but I am si tried been dance moves but that OK I love in there that went In Year 2019 On June I love going to Clyde recreation center I love it
One of my favorite places here in Springville!
Great option for working out and staying in shape, its just so darn busy here.
Great place to work and exercise :)
Great place for kids
Its a great, clean facility with excellent instructors and equipment. My children have benefited from the summer swim team (Springville seals), water polo, and my son is a lifeguard there too. It has improved our quality of life greatly!
I got a membership and go there every day
The pool area is great for young children. My daughter loves her swim teacher and is excited to go to lessons each day. Its easy to keep an eye on my children in the pool areas. I like that the water temperature (not too cold).
This is way the best place ever for my family and i. We went to only go for the day but we ended up buying a monthly pass for me and my husband to do the gym. My kids passed out way before i even got out the parking lot. They have everything for all ages.
Absolutely love having a family membership! I can go upstairs to work out while my kids are down in the pool having fun!
Fun place to take the family, pool water was on the chillier side though.
We wanted to have a birthday party here for our 4 year old. We have family members in poor health and asked if we had people not swim if we would be charged for them. They told us no they would not. We had the party and they gave us a tiny glass room. Then they charged us for every person that entered. Even the ones in wheelchairs. Then they tried to charge the guests individually again before they left. Unbelievable.
Just got a pass a week or so ago and Im on the fence with this place. As far as swimming, classes available, cleanliness, treadmills and bikes it has everything you need, if youre into that. There are a few things I wish would change. There is not a lot of space for weightlifters. The machines are bunched in around the track and it is difficult to find yourself the space to effectively (and safely) workout. While the machines are tip top, the availability of them has to be timed just right as there is only one of each. I wish there were more machines and fewer kids sitting on those machines playing on their phones so the people who want to use them, can. The turf area is also very cramped, the machine in the corner is so awkwardly places that only 1 person can effectively use it at a time. Lastly, there is only one basketball court. 1. There are hoops that run along the sidelines, but a full court application is impossible. I understand how expensive a building like this is to operate, maintain and build but 1 court is extremely disappointing. If I want to play a pickup game, Ill have to go somewhere else. This is a great place for certain modalities, but Ive yet to see if it fits any of mine.
Great swimming pool. The slides are fun and theres a lazy river and circular area to sit in if you need a break from going around and around the river. The kiddie swim area has a softer floor (really nice for parents knees!) and a couple animal slides and fountains to play on. Older kids seem to like to jump in and splash around a lot, though, so be aware when talking little babies in. Theres a basketball hoop inside the indoor pool and a volleyball net in the outdoor pool. In a separate room there is a lap pool. Theres a playground in the outdoor pool area, too. Theres a lot of free lockers, which you can use your own lock on. Theres a couple family dressing rooms with a changing table, toilet and sink. The prices really arent too bad for all thats available.
Love the Zumba classes!
I love this place!!! I’m usually more of an outdoors person but it’s nice to have an indoor place during the winter to swim, bike, run, lift weights, and just have fun!! This place is awesome, clean, and has so many amenities. I get excited just walking in the door because it’s such a bright, open, cheerful place. Pricing for a couples membership is great, especially considering what you get with it. Can’t recommend it enough!
It was easy to find cardio machines to use, and everyone wore masks when they could.
Clean, not over crowded, helpful staff at child watch, child watch is clean, instructors are great and classes are fun. My favorite classes are High Fitness, CRC Fit and Glide Cardio Wave.
The Clyde Rec Center is our familys favorite place to go. There is something for each of us to do while were there-- some kids choose to swim while others of us choose to work out. We seriously go every single day. I also love the classes-- Mindy, Tara and Allison are amazing instructors (as are all the others!). I havent been to a lame class there, and its impossible to have a bad day when you start it out at CRC. Thanks so much, Clyde Rec Center!
I love working out here! The teachers are friendly and good at what they do. There are for work out classes for just about everyone (even kids and senior citizens). I do wish they had Friday night classes so people could work out after work on Fridays. Also I think the High fitness class needs a bigger room. It gets so packed that you cant even do the full jumps and kicks that youre supposed to do because if you do youll smack into someone.
Great facility! But the pools are cold.
This is a great rec center, Im giving 4 stars just because its small... For the size of the place I think its pretty great though.
Could only be happier if they had racquetball courts, and opened the slides earlier on. Love the facility though. Overall its an excellent place to get your rec on! Equipment works well and the pools are well kept. The kiddie pool every now and then is kept colder than what my kids would prefer, but its not horrible. Truly Ive only encountered happy people and its been an extremely pleasant environment to be in. Love it!
Ive really enjoyed having this place available. Going in around noon, early afternoon, Ive been able to improve my basketball game and get read for old man ball. The only reservation I have is the weight area is weirdly laid out and almost always crowded when I go.
The Springville Clyde recreation Center has a very nice pool for swimming laps. It also has a recreation pool that is a great temperature. The water aerobics teachers are the best. I love going there
I love how clean the rec center is
Have all the right stuff! And taki g every precaution. Thank you!
I love coming here! They really accommodate to everyone. It’s so big that it does not feel crowded either. The staff is incredibly friendly and they have good lifeguards. I love the choices of pools, weights, and workout classes! I would highly recommend checking this place out, you will fall in love.
Cool place
Warm walk! Like the track
The staff were very friendly! It was a pleasant experience! I would definitely recommend this place. It was also very clean!
Very nice and lots of fun. Not that big of place and very little to do for toddlers. Provo has a bit more to do and bigger pools. This one is more south so its closer to where we live witch is nice.
My son enjoyed it, but his skills didnt really improve. Im sorry to say you get what you pay for. If you cant manage to pay for lessons somewhere else, make sure to call and ask what activities will be going on during your childs lesson. I took my son last year and they couldnt fix the temperature in the outside pool, so they had the music blaring from water aerobics. He struggled to hear and couldnt really learn. They wouldnt turn the music down and gave the kids such a small space to practice. Not the experience we signed up and paid for. Just communicate before signing up because not all classes may have an equal opportunity to learn and they wont let you change anything once youre in.
Really nice place to go and exercise. I love the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. Very good place! Love it!
Great but I wish they were open Sunday! That is one of the only days we have to use it during the week. Other then that great.
The toddler Tiny Tots class is the best thing we have ever done with my 3-year-old. The teachers are INCREDIBLE. They teach real skills, they are organized, they are loving, and so talented. I think this is the best class Springville Rec has to offer. Please dont ever cancel this class.
I appreciate theyre doing what they can with the COVID situation. Its been great for my physical and mental health being ablw to go back to the gym. Thank you to the staff at the Clyde, we really appreciate all that you do!
I love the rec center. Clean. Friendly staff. Facility well cared for. Lots of good classes. Great value for cost.
Beautiful, majestic. A wonderful place to take a family for a day of fun in the pool. The hot-tub does allow younger kids in which sometimes makes it very crowded. The space throughout the building is well utilized but sometimes seemed overly crowded.
