We had waited almost 3 hours for AAA to send a tow truck. I finally googled tow companies near us and Mulligans was at the top. They came out in under 20 minutes. The driver was very nice and took very good care of my girl Betsy and towed us all the way to Carlinville with care. He was professional and I would use them again in a heart beat.

My alternator went bad and ran my battery dead. I called for tow. The driver didn’t bring tow bed and I told them I had 4wd. Driver went in my neighbors drive and when he was backing out to bring to the correct drive he went off drive in there yard and ditch made ruts then turns wheel real hard and jacknives the tow truck and my car falls off the tow into the street and damages my front number and plates. I called they said pay tow and they will settle damages after so I did now they are refusing to pay and making up lies the owner Jim was rude obnoxious and screaming at me and calling me names. I offered to go less than estimate and he laughed and again started screaming rude stuff on phone. It’s been over a month and I’m still not getting any response. Next will be small claims. Please do not use this business for towing he his horrible!

I know no one like to have their car towed but, if you find out they have towed your car absolutely expect damage to your vehicle. Prices and fees are not consistent and staff is unprofessional.

Best service Ive had in a long time. Very nice and quick response . Needing a tow on a holiday and it being nighttime, I wasnt charged anymore than a Monday afternoon would have cost. That was a complete surprise to me. I would highly recommend this company in a heartbeat. Thanks again Mulligans.

Towed a car in front of my house dropping off food. The vehicle wasnt even here for 2 minutes when it happened. I wouldnt use them to haul away my trash if It had wheels.

I couldn’t even explain to her where my car was or where to be towed at instead I was rush off phone and hanged up on seems to me like she was having a bad day and took it out on me or something else regardless it was unprofessional! i took my hard earn money to the next row company

We called for a tow and they were very friendly and responsive. We so appreciated it. We ended up canceling when the car started. They were still friendly when we canceled. Mulligans will be our first call if we have trouble again!

We called at 3am and they promptly came and rescued us!!! We will definitely call them if we ever need another tow.

I am from out of town not familiar with the city. They generously picked me up after work, picked up my car and recommended anauto body repair that provided a new radiator for my car. I would recommend this business any day. Thank you again.

I woke up and had gotten ready for work....noticing that my girlfriends vehicle was towed...gone at 330 in the morning....the vehicle is registered to the apartment complex with a sticker but still towed....Im very upset as I couldnt get a response after calling the establishment multiple times...

We were stranded with a flat tire on the way to the airport in St. Louis and the lug nuts would NOT break loose. After numerous phone calls with no luck, we called Mulligans and told them we had to catch a plane and that no one else could help, for whatever reason. He was there in no time and got us back on the road. Very grateful for the prompt and professional service!

The trailer park is contracted with MULLIGANS ILLEGAL TOWING to remove cars that are parked against the rules. Example: Someone leaves their car parked on the street after 11pm, it gets towed. park your car IN your front yard - towed. park on side of street with sidewalk blocked - towed. Park with 2 tires in grass and 2 tires on driveway - towed. MULLIGANS ILLEGAL TOWING is in the habit of cruising up and down the trailer park streets, sometimes every half hour, during the night. Theyll stop at one driveway, someone will get out and literally walk around LOOKING for a reason to tow a car, so they can then charge 170 fee to get it back. This is an ILLEGAL practice.I got home last night at 12:45am, and parked the car on the right-hand side of the driveway. My federally legal accessible parking placard was hanging, as it ALWAYS is, from the rear view mirror, in plain sight. Apparently someone from MULLIGANS ILLEGAL TOWING saw me pull in, because no sooner had I flipped the porch light off were they hooking up my car and hauling it off. Their reason?? Because my right front tire was 1.5 inches over the edge of the driveway. That would be the tire thats nearest the house, so they would have HAD to get out and walk around looking for an excuse to tow. The tire wasnt even touching the grass!Neighbor gave me a lift to the gas station so I could use Karas phone to call MULLIGANS ILLEGAL TOWING. If you think my typed tirades against bigots and Luddites was cutting - you dont EVER want to be within 20 feet of me when Im this angry. The phone call did not go well - for them. They said they dont *have* to look for a parking placard after midnight - but there was nothing to look for. It was hanging right there, off the rear view mirror. Not only did MULLIGANS ILLEGAL TOWING steal my car in a completely Illegal move, but they stole my parking placard - and that, ladies and germs, is a FEDERAL OFFENSE. Both my father and I have ABUNDANT documentation regarding our illnesses/disabilities which requires us to have a parking placard. So not only do I not have transportation, but now I dont have the placard to place in someone elses car so they can legally give me a ride anywhere, either.

They took more than half an hour to come, despite being less than a mile away from us. There was a car that stalled at a red light at a busy intersection and we stopped to help. Mulligans knew that the car was in the middle of a very busy road, but still took their time getting to us. 30 minutes to go less than a mile to pick up a car in the middle of a busy highway. Unnacceptable. The person we called and the tow truck operater were very nice, but it took way too long for them to get a truck out, especially since they knew the stalled car was on a very high-traffic street.

Today is Sunday. The car is dead and Jim has come to look and see whats wrong. We called him and said would you wait 25 minutes while we go home and get the extra keys so we can take the handicap sticker out of the car while we are going on vacation. So Jim, with a smile on his face, said he would wait outside the shopping center. When we returned he had figured out what was wrong. He drove the car home to his shop and is storing it and helping us while we are on vacation. This man deserves your business!!!

This morning my car shutdown and broke down in a busy corner or Springfield. I live 3.5 hours away. After calling multiple tow truck companys, one which said it would take 3 hours to get to where I was, I called Mulligans. They came there in 30 mins. The driver was very professional and very empathetic to the situation. I did not catch his name. But he picked up a silver Hyundai Genesis at around 7am today. He was a damn lifesaver! From what I witnessed today...its crazy to see these low reviews on here. Thank you!

Wow a lot of one star reviews but in the tow industry there is no gray area, 1-star for getting towed against your will but 5-stars if they come to your aid in an emergent situation. It is black and white. Well after calling a lot of tow companies for a flat-bed and the wait being 2-3 hours at each, Mulligans rushed to our side in under 20 minutes. AMAZEBALLS!! THANKS STEVE!!

Place is a joke. The owner has no idea how to conduct his own behavior let alone conduct a business. Its a matter of time before this place is no longer a business. I would already say its no longer a valid business worthy of customers.

They like to hook up to cars on a street that has no parking after 11 p.m. before 11p.m. and wait the few minutes refusing to unhook until the time then they raise it up and get out and tell you $85 to drop it which is technically car theft. If this happens to you stand in front of vehicle and call the police, I did and guess what I didnt have to pay a penny.

They are VERY crooked. They screw everyone over and illegally take cars, surprised they are still in business. I dont care if i was broke down and no other company was open i would never go to them or recommend them!!!

This guy does not always make an honest living and does not mind taking advantage of people. Be careful he is not a nice guy. He can not wait to tow you. He stalks trailer parks so be very cautious and read park rules. He towed my friends car from a christmas party. 170.00 the signs were not very visible and were as you entered the trailer court. (bissle trailer court) I have since heard this happening to several people. apparently he has also hooked up to people early and refused to take there cars down, attempted to run them over, they had to call police. I just want the public to beware of trailer park rules. and know the type of person this guy is.

Lowest form of life. This guy stalks parking spots at my sons preschool- so parents, after a long day of work, often come back to a poorly marked spot on the street to find that their car has been towed and they are now stranded with their child miles from home. This happened this past week IN A SNOW STORM.I will never patronize any business that uses Mulligans as their tow service. Mulligans sign = boycott!

A predatory agency that puts up 2 tiny tiny signs that people cant see, even if they look for a no parking sign. Their sign doesnt face the parking lot. I was told to look at the parking lot for their sign when they towed my car. I couldnt find it, the employee had to find it for me. I told the man he should make the sign bigger and face the parking lot, he stated it meets the laws standards. They are horrible, horrible people.
