If I could give a negative star I would.My car got repossessed, I know it was my fault. However when I went to pick up my possessions, the only thing missing was my important antenna topper. It was a limited edition Lightning McQueen. I went to report it missing and one guy said “oh it should be inside with your plates” I told him no it’s not. Another guy asks “oh you mean a little red car?” uh yeah?? That’s what I just said!!! They then told me they “saw it fly off in the property line during that super windy day”... right. First you have no clue about the topper I’m talking about and then all of a sudden you claim it flew off??? I have traveled from Illinois to Louisiana, and back. Traveled from Illinois to South Carolina, and back. Someone from the team stole it.Do not trust this company one bit.Same day I was there a couples car was cleaned out and she said she had a large sum of money missing from her pocketbook. Manager then explained “legally we have to clean the cars out when your repossessed car hits the lot”. AGAIN LIAR. My car was not emptied and I had no ride there until 6 days after repossession.AGAIN DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

I never do reviews but I have to give 5stars to this company. They were compassionate and very understanding to the needs of me retrieving my vehicle. They even waited for me after closing to go to Atm.

We have done business with Capitol City Towing for over 10 years. Fair people and unfortunately deal in a business that has a heavy negative stigma attached. We have always been treated fairly and respectfully and on numerous occasions, they have gone above and beyond to help when we needed them. Would highly recommend and will continue to use their service.

Customer service and public relations is horrible. I wouldnt ever return to this business for anything would rather my vehicle be broken down on the side of the road in the middle of Chicago before giving these people a dime of my money

Creepy place. Right out of chainsaw massacre

Called for help on a freezing cold day. They came promptly, were super friendly and did the job quickly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs help. Great bunch of guys. God bless them. Happy Holidays!

I wish there was a negative star because that is sure what they would get. They took my vehicle in the middle of the night when I called the next day the woman told me there would be fees to retrieve my personal belongings I corrected her and told her the finance company already informed me there were no fees to retrieve personal property she put me on hold came back with a rude demeanor and stated well there will be fees to get the vehicle. I arrived today the plates were gone off my vehicle they charged me $175 “their fees” then handed me my belongings. My vehicle was locked when they received it however my vehicle was unlocked and all belongings were tossed in a bag minus the $160 missing from my husbands wallet. Funny all 5 employees described this very unique wallet to us. The woman then demands the owner to speak to me saying I am claiming items missing and stated my husband was just lying to me about the money in his wallet. Tried to give me some bs story on why they unlocked my vehicle in the first place. The owner came out and told me he was the one that got in my truck and counted the money in the wallet then followed up with he don’t steal. Clearly we seen the wallet had been through. When we finally got back in the vehicle we noticed the sound system and gages had been adjusted. I have reported this company to my finance company, the attorney general, and their local police department.

Highly not recommending this business. Had issues with this family harassing me on several occasions. They hire felons & stalk people out to try to take their vehicles illegally. I myself have seen them reloacate vehicles which is illegal. Them & their employees try starting fights with everyone. They have tried taking my daughters vehicle illegally from olde towne apartments.The owner carries a gun which is illegal to have around his felon employee’s, which are illegal to hire from the start. Very sad & the only reason they have it out for me so bad is because my boyfriend worked for him & they set it up for him to have an affair with the owners sister & they got caught so now I’m the bad one. This whole family including the dads tow company is trash. They also steal stuff out of vehicles I’ve seen it while my boyfriend worked there. They damage vehicles & lie about it also. Look at their reviews that should tell you something

Easy to deal with

Credit card machine was not working when I got there. So I had to get a ride to the bank and come back for my car. They knew I was coming to pick up the car but didnt mention I needed cash. Then they failed to give me my keys. Closed on Saturdays so I still dont have my key. I suggested telling people they needed cash. Ill bet that credit card machine still isnt fixed.

Wishing there was currently a negative star option. Most unprofessional place in Springfield that Ive ever been too. The workers were rediculously rude, one worker was trying to get my boyfriend to step out of the gate and fight. They were extremely disrespectful with our property in side our car. Wires were ripped out along with speakers license plates were ripped off the bolts, asked for help getting plates on so we could leave wouldnt help just kept yelling . the owner then came out (hoping hed be more helpful) but he just made the issue at hand worse and wanted to scream and cuss more than his unprofessional workers . VERY VERY unprofessional work envoriment, defiantly not a way to run a business unless its into the ground.

Poor customer service.

Friendly and courteous service, my friends were able to retrieve their belongings without incident or anything missing- despite the accusations of criminal behavior. You cant always believe what you read online.

Things were stolen out of my boyfriends vehicle after they towed it away. When we came to get the stuff that was in the vehicle there was stuff missing
