SeniorAge has been an amazing organization for my aunt, grandmother, and aging friends. The number of programs they offer is astounding. They offer all kinds of non-bias assistance for seniors who need home renovation projects, but dont know which organization is reliable....for tax-counseling...for Medicare enrollment and comparison of various plans....working with other non-profits to provide rides to seniors in need, medical assistive devices, and meals. These are just a few of the ways that SeniorAge serves as a center of help in our community. Their services are free and their workers and volunteers will never try to push a particular program on you.

Unfortunately with Meals on Wheels they know that their services are needed by those who are unable to provide meals for themselves and feel they can treat people any way they choose. I am a manager at a large apartment complex and have to deal with Meals on Wheels a lot. It is not unusual for the drivers delivering the meals to be rude, it is just something Ive had to get used to. However today takes the cake. The diver delivering two meals today refused to deliver the meals to the residence instead he through the meals down on my desk and said here. While I was picking the food off the floor I asked if he was going to deliver the food as it is part of Meals on Wheels and he said I dont have time and stormed off. So I called to report the gentleman on being rude and throwing the food on the ground and the lady who answered the phone was unapologetic and instead said the gentleman was going through something personal. To me there is nothing worse than someone in this case a whole company taking advantage of those in need. How would they like it if someone threw one of their family members food on the floor. I would not of given them one star but it forces you to in order for your review to post.

Went to get Senior vegetable vouchers to spend at Farmers Market $50 worth free if you are over 60

This is a wonderful place when our high-rise air conditioner broke they donated fans

My husband is a senior and gets a vouchers for cab rides to and from docters appointments. This helps us financely. Because we are on a fixed income and have just so much money for everything that we need each month.😕
