I had a good experience here. My anxiety was (is) flaring on me badly, so much so that I can’t go to work and can barely leave the house. My primary is worthless, so I decided I was in “crisis” and needed to be seen that day. I was told the wait could be hours, but 10 minutes later they saw me. The two girls (one seemed to be shadowing/learning from the other) were great. They’ve done everything in their power to try and get me the help I (think) I need as soon as possible, but I guess trying to get help for things like crippling anxiety isn’t an easy, straightforward process? My only complaint is I guess this place isn’t what I thought? I thought they’d give me a script for my issues while I tried to get to the doctor, but all they did was refer me out to a treatment program. My anxiety was the same walking out the door as it was when I walked in.
Untrustworthy. They unnecessarily break confidentiality and put the person seeking help in an unsafe situation. The supervisor gives unsolicited legal advice that is highly incorrect and irrational. Do not listen to any legal advice this agency gives. They intentionally lie to the person seeking help in order to force commitment when it is unnecessary. When there is abuse within the agency, the supervisor claims “if there’s no documentation, it didn’t happen”. (Matt) When you present proof, they sweep it under the rug and deny. This place is unprofessional, shady, and bad news all around.
They placed one in my neighborhood and all we hear is screaming. You are guys are terrible I can’t even stress this enough if you have one of these BHN homes near you MOVE OUT! or DONT BUY THE HOUSE!!! 4 HOURS of screaming even with my windows closed. WE ARE ALL SICK OF IT!
They are amazing i would recommend you go there.
Ive had to go here 2x with two of my children and each time we were treated kindly, with respect and professionalism. I have no complaints about this place except the cleanliness of their waiting rooms. The chairs looked like childrens diapers had leaked on them, some chairs were just straight up urine stained, it was quite gross.
Been taking my son here 20 years. Always nice and considerate staff!
My son is homicidal at this point and they are refusing to provide my son with the proper level of care in a severe time of need. I requested to speak to a supervisor and was told he was busy every time I requested to speak to him/her. I am a parent in need and I am a concerned parent at this time and the level of disrepect I received today was extremely rude and unprofessional. A staff member yelled/screamed the spelling of her name and supervisors when I requested it. She also stated in a loud tone/rude voice, Dont tell me how to do my job cause I know very well how to do it! when I asked her to take notes of everything we had talked about and the fact that they are denying my son care at this time. My son is 8 years old with multiple diagnosis and severe needs. I am extremely dissapointed with their poor customer service to a parent of a child that is in need of crucial help. We are already dealing with enough stress. I will be visiting BHN main offices tomorrow. Her rudeness was unacceptable.
This is actually Sabrina sweikhart.. just using a joint account. My experience with BHN crisis was very good. I prefer having them come to my home instead of waiting hours and hours for them to come to the emergency room. They are very timely usually within an hour and very helpful. Just wish when they speak to u on the phone they have a nicer attitude at times. But I dont blame them because they have to deal with all different kinds of people during a crisis situation. So I give them 5 stars
Very rude, mean, unprofessional, uncaring employees. I called to seek help for depression related to MS. Kaitlyn immediately overreacted and transferred me to Julia. (I am still a marathon runner, I do everything on my own, I have never had any emergencies related to my disease). Julia then informs me they dont have emergency personnel to help me in case of an emergency. I told her Ive never had an emergency related to my disease and I never indicated that to Kaitlyn. Julia then goes on to say that she knows people with MS have bladder problems. I told her I dont have those issues, I can walk independently, drive, etc. I then speak to Jeff Kassis, who was extremely rude to me, yelling at me, stating he cant give me a reason why I cant do therapy, Im a liability, etc. I feel discriminated against just because I told them I have MS. I feel attacked by these 3 people who all jumped to conclusions about me. Just because someone has MS, doesnt mean they cant do anything. I am appalled at how these employees treat clients, how I was accused of having health problems that I dont have, and it is disturbing that clients seeking help for emotional and psychological problems are treated so rudely.
Weekly appointment with a counselor seen for years now. Assorted programs to cover all needs.
The Staff in Walk-in Theraphy section of the place are Disgraceful and Very disrespectful!!!
