Jillian is a one woman operation.  No fancy salon. She has one room in a nail salon in Springfield, so no spa type setting. That means she can keep her costs down. Personally I dont need a gilded office, I just need an experienced tech who knows her stuff. Thats Jillian. She has over 20 years in the business. Better than getting some young 20-something tech you may find at the larger establishments.Jillian is very attentive. Shell take whatever time it takes with you. No rush job. She will also shave you if youve missed some spots, which I always do. Some places plainly state they do not shave. Her equipment is one of the best lasers in the industry. (I researched it). Not all laser machines are the same. She will appropriately space out your sessions. If a place tells you they recommend sessions every 4 weeks, leave immediately. Theyre just there to take your money and hurry  you through. For example, I go every 10 weeks for my Brazilian. A couple of weeks less for other areas.  Jullian  tailors a plan based on the area done and your hair growth speed.At consultation, she did a couple of test laser zaps to check my skin reaction (not all places will offer to test you at consult). Having the test zaps  is also an opportunity for you to understand the pain that is involved so you will be prepared for your first visit. It is excruciating. You MUST have a numbing regimen. Dont believe the people when they say it feels like a rubber band snap. NO! You will start questioning life itself when that laser hits you if you arent properly numb in certain sensitive areas.Towards the end of my consultation, as I was lying on the table, I felt so comfortable with her, I literally said to her, I like you Jillian. Im not going to bother looking anywhere else (she was the first place I went to for a consultation). I felt like I had known her for years. And Im not kidding.I have had a few sessions done. I am very pleased with my results.

Jillian is amazing! Very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable through every not-so-comfortable procedure. The results are great. No hair growth after 5th laser treatment... have one more to go! Highly recommend.

I was worried since I have really thick and coarse stubborn hair but honestly going to see Jillian was probably the best decision I’ve made. Hair is gone! thats the point though. So far with NVHL i have great results! Besides being super happy with the outcome, the office is clean and updated on current equipment. The owner is professional and discrete. I will defiantly go back to finish my sessions and for touch ups in the future.

Northern Virginia Hair Laser is very small and personal which is a nice change. I didnt feel pressured to buy any further treatments or products and felt well taken care of.
