I would give this zero stars if I could. My alterations looked like a 5 year old amateur did them. I should have known it was going to be bad when, at the initial appointment, I had to make recommendations to the seamstress for cups when she should have known that a bra wouldn’t work based on the cut of the dress (and I’m not a seamstress). The cups were barely tacked on with a few stitches on the outer layer of fabric and the edge on one side was visible when I put it on. The stitches where the shoulders were taken up were jagged and had strings hanging when I got it. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ALTERATIONS- find an actual professional who will do a nice job.

I am so happy that I made the call to Davids Bridal. I had made a poor choice to try and order a dress online. Unfortunately the dress did not even remotely resemble the dress I ordered. And with limited time to the wedding date I was stressed out! But my stylist Chelsea was delightful and Karen from the alterations department was fabulous! I couldnt be more pleased. I even was able to walk out with dress in hand. Thank you ladies for making this so easy and stress free!!

Chelsea was amazing! I needed a pantsuit for my grandsons wedding (the grandmas were all wearing pants) and she was very helpful! Her manager was also very helpful and helped me in choosing which outfit she liked as well. The store was very spacious and clean! Lots of bargains too. It was a great experience! Thank you ladies!

I am so so thankful I went to David’s in Springfield!! The staff was beyond nice, patient, and helpful! I did not think I was going to find a dress, but I found the one! It is prettier than I could have ever imagined! There were more options to choose from than I thought, and no one cared how many dresses I tried on (I think it was about 8). The temperature was perfect for trying on dresses - it was cooler. The bathrooms were cleaned (both men and women’s). Plenty of options and a wonderful experience! I’d work here if I could!

After going to the Peoria location, one of my daughters changed her mind. I called to have the dress stopped from being shipped. They refused to do the refund over the phone so I had to drive to the Springfield after work. Thankfully they are open until 9pm. I ended up purchasing about the same that I refunded. Tiffany and Chelsea went above and beyond for my daughter. Even had a small alteration done to make her more comfortable. Due to the inconvenience of having to drive an hour out of town to do a refund in person that could have been done over the phone, the Springfield location will have our business for future homecoming, prom and someday wedding needs. I can not thank these ladies enough for the help they gave. You really went the extra mile. Davids bridal are lucky to have you. If not, Im always looking for insurance agents for our company!

I came in today to pick up my bridesmaid dress after alterations. Everyone here at Davids Bridal in Springfield, IL was great! So friendly and helpful!! I definitely recommend coming here. Both times Ive been here have been really positive. Looking forward to coming back for my own wedding!

Everyone at Springfield David’s Bridal was amazing! They were so incredibly kind! I had to get something shipped and I had a limited time before the wedding and they assured me that they would make it work. The dress came in with plenty of time to get it altered. Just picked it up today and it looks amazing! So happy with my experience here!

If I could give zero stars I would. It’s been issue after issue.My 2 fitting appointments I did most of the work while the stylist stood there or disappeared.I was told several dresses were ready for pick up, I also asked if there was a way to track my wedding dress and was told no. Mind you it’s about a 45 minute drive, I get there and there’s only one dress. I got about half way home and received a call saying there was another one ready. At this point I talked to the manager who said she would have the rest shipped to me, and of course she was able to track my dress after I had been told that it wasn’t possible by a store employee.I have had to call literally every time a dress comes in to tell them they’re supposed to be shipped and give them my address. We ordered 7 bridesmaids dress so 7 times I’ve had to make the same phone call.If you’re thinking about going here save yourself a headache and just don’t. The manager is super nice but this place is very unorganized and their “stylist” don’t care. I expected to have a great time picking out dresses with my girls but the exact opposite has happened, David’s in Springfield is a nightmare.PS the bathroom was disgusting both times I went in, I’ve seen truck stop bathrooms that are nicer!

I seriously had the best experience with the ladies (employees) at the Springfield David bridal. Every last one made sure I was getting what I wanted out of my dress, accessories and most importantly, my wedding day. They made sure that I was taken care and I had to get alterations on a new dress that I switched to WITH ONE MONTH LEFT. They made it happen. They made my day(s) perfect. I can’t thank them enough for their dedication and hard work to make me feel beautiful and perfect for my big day! 100% recommend to go there.

Chelsea is an amazing who was extremely helpful and kind! I definitely recommend this place to any and all future brides and bridesmaids! They helped me tremendously and took great care of me! I went in feeling nervous and unsure of anything and came out feeling relieved and excited!

I cannot say enough thank you’s and wonderful things about my experience. I was in a wedding this last Saturday 8-21-21 and I had a bridesmaid dress crisis. The dress was from Country Lace in Bloomington and they had ordered me the wrong dress, said there was nothing they could do, and just left me with no options. I am a plus sized woman and my worst nightmare was coming true. My whole rear was out in the dress and the top fit horrible. I made a last minute call to David’s bridal to see if they had anything in my size so I could buy another dress maybe that would match as close as possible. On Wednesday they saw me and had me bring the hot mess dress. Somehow the seamstress found a material that was close to the color, made a whole back panel, fixed the top, and the zipper ALL IN ONE DAY!!! They SAVED MY LIFE, made me feel so welcome and comfortable. I can’t express how much it meant to me. The wedding was beautiful and I was able to dance and move like it never happened. Thank you so much ❤️

I went in recently to shop for my wedding dress. The wonderful girl that helped me was Mariah. She was so sweet and she made it a fun experience as well. I left with a beautiful wedding dress. Ill always remember that experience. Thanks, Mariah! You were great! As were the other staff members in the store.

Mikayla was sweetest lady ever! Tracy and her were a humongous help with helping me find my wedding dress! Mikayla was super patient with me even though I tried on 15 dresses and spent 3.5 hours or so in the store. She made me feel even more special during one of the most exciting days of my life! The women who work here are amazing. Kaaren was wonderful to work with for my alterations. The only negative I have is that they need to be more up front with alteration prices when you are deciding which dress to choose. To shorten my dress and add a bustle on a dress that wasnt huge or overly intricate was 214.00, over half the cost of the dress. If I had known this in advance I would have selected a different gown as I am very budget conscious.My assistant, Makayla was wonderful when I tried on dresses. She knew exactly what I was looking for and found the perfect dress for my special day. Overall, I highly recommend this location. These women love their jobs and made my experience great. I never felt rushed and it was fun.

My daughter had an appointment today and found her dress! They treated her like a princess from the minute we walked in the door. Our stylist, Makayla, worked hard to ensure my daughter didn’t feel rushed and like the whole day was hers. All of my daughter’s guests for the day were taken care of and made comfortable through the process. We tried on over 8-10 dresses and said yes to one we found in the middle! Went in for my alteration appointment and the lady was rude and demanding. Very much wouldn’t of gone if I knew she was going to be like that. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to go do there alterations. Many other places are cheaper and happier to do it.

I was in Davids Bridal in Springfield not to long ago and the young ladies were simply amazing they helped answer all my questions and gave me amazing feedback Thank you!!

Several of us had gone to try on bridesmaids dresses, the consultant we had—Makayla, was not very helpful. She ended up sitting 90% of the time while the bride grabbed dresses for her bridesmaids. She also told us that the color we would be ordering in was being discontinued—come to find out from a different store that this was not the case. This made us feel pressured to buy dresses we didn’t care for. The two girls who did end up purchasing dresses were never measured either.

The ladies here were so incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get the dress I loved in time for my wedding! I ended up losing quite a bit of weight after purchasing my dress, and the dress I had purchased was way too big and I was so nervous about getting it altered. They were able to get it exchanged for me with enough time before the wedding for any extra alterations and helped me so much!! Absolutely recommend visiting this location, they were so lovely and I so appreciate their help 😊

I was able to try dresses on during current pandemic which was great! But the service wasn’t the best. I’m not even sure the persons name because she never introduced herself. I was able to choose which bridesmaid dress I wanted and after paying for the dress, the lady decided to tell me it wouldn’t arrive until 3 weeks before the WEDDING, then made a comment that I should have ordered it 6 months in advance, instead of 4, however I specifically told her this before trying on dresses. Thankfully she let me have a refund as she never stated when it would arrive BEFORE buying but after asking her to refund me, she made several rude comments. She was very unprofessional during the process. Maybe she was having a bad day, but I would recommend keeping comments to yourself such as “yeah a lot of girls come in here saying they are going to lose weight before the wedding day and also kept saying “if you lose the weight.” I understand we need to be realistic but it came off very unprofessional and rude. So I bought the dress online, cheaper than it was in store. Won’t be going here again. One plus, the lady I spoke with on the phone to schedule the appointment was extremely nice and funny, wish I had her taking care of me.

An exceptionally wonderful experience! Kristin at the Springfield (IL) store was friendly and extremely patient with us and delivered some of the best customer service Ive experienced in a long time! Before you think, She must have spent a ton of money to have been given such great service, THINK AGAIN. Kristin knew we were on a limited budget and we came away from there with the PERFECT dress, hair accessory, and even lacy facial masks! I cant say enough about Kristin and the entire encounter with her and the staff at this Davids. Thank you for making my upcoming wedding day that much more perfect!

Called to get a dress hemmed and basically was only given two days to come get it done. Since I am in school and have a full time job I told Karen I was unable to come in at that time. She said “well there will be a rush fee after those days.” I said “that is fine since I need it done for a wedding I’ll pay whatever it takes.” She proceeded to say “we are just super swamped with prom I just don’t have time.” I told her that was fine I will find somewhere else. She said “Goodluck with that all the bridal stores are closing that’s why everyone is coming here.” Well KAREN I just found someone 5 minutes from my house who got it done in 3 days an only charged me $20. That’s less then the rush fee of $35 I offered to pay. Never will I do business here again if this is how all the employees talk to their customers. No help, no other day was offered, no “sorry we can’t help”, nothing just a rude old lady.

It’s been a couple months since we were there getting my dress and this time we went to get the bridesmaids dresses. She remembered us!! The store was CRAZY busy this time and she was floating between us and another bride. But she gave us all the attention we needed. My girls loved her as much as I do!! The other consultants there would also come along and help us out when needed as well. Will be asking for her for any future visits! We got all 3 of my maids their dresses and everyone is in love with them!! Never in a million years would I thought I’d feel this welcome in this store. They aren’t just sales women! They truly want to help you make your big day as special as it can be! Would recommended them to anyone!

Tracy & Kay were absolutely wonderful! I went back & forth between 2 dresses and never once felt “rushed” or “hurried” to get in & out! They had me try the same dresses on numerous times to really see which one was “The One!”

Honestly unimpressed with the service. I made an appt for bridesmaid dresses, we got there and it was a MAD HOUSE. The first issue: Our consultant, Alyssa, had multiple parties she was working with causing us to do a lot of standing around and waiting in our hour appt. The store should have done a better job scheduling. The second issue: the consultant was not the best to work with and she “abandoned” her post 5 minutes before the appointment was over. She developed an attitude when we would search the store for her after waiting forever for her to check up on us. She then left before even checking us out. I felt totally uncomfortable, like an inconvenience the entire appointment. I asked them when they would recommend all the girls ordering the dress and her response was “well, it’s not a huge rush but sooner would be better then waiting.” That’s helpful 🙄Honestly, if it weren’t for the fact that there are so many of these country wide, we would have walked out 10 minutes into our appointment. The only star earned here is because I found a dress I really liked.

When I went to look at wedding dresses I had the best experience. Kristen was fabulous!!When I went for bridesmaid and MOH dresses the person I had wasnt as great. Now I understand that she had 2 other groups that day but I felt like she didnt even want to help us at all.

THANKFULLY they had exactly 2 dresses to choose from and one was even on sale and fit me! I had to get a few alterations and they were SO kind and generous to get me in right away to be fitted! I highly recommend David’s Bridal but I don’t recommend waiting until the last minute like did lol. Thank you so much!

I ordered my bridesmaids dress in store, and luckily I caught 2 mistakes that were made on the initial order form. She had the wrong size AND color. Then, once I got my dress home I realized it was horribly wrinkled. When I called to ask about having them steam it I spoke to a woman named Tiffany. She was very rude about it on the phone stating, well they cant possibly ship it to me hanging up, and then told me they only steam if alterations are needed. Well, I tried the dress on in the store, so obviously I knew I wouldnt need alterations. So, on top of paying nearly $200 for the dress they then wanted to charge me for having it steamed AND were very rude to me over the phone. I think at the least they could steam the dresses when they get them in before having customers pick them up.I just think the customer service at the Springfield store is pretty pathetic. I mean at least be polite over the phone after customers have spent money with you. And I wouldnt suggest speaking to Tiffany.

Aimee was we worked with directly and she was awesome! She was very laid back and very kind and very straight forward which fit my personality so we hit it off and were able to make the whole fitting fun.
