If you want to buy a hot-tub in a fancy, low-lit showroom with options displayed on the floor and salespeople in matching shirts that want to up-sell you on everything, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.Affordable Spa and Pool is high on value, and seems low on atmosphere, until you get to know them - and then the place grows on you! They refurbish unwanted hot tubs and sell at an affordable price -- so much cheaper than buying new. Bert is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and will walk you through the warehouse area where they have other hot-tubs in process. Lena will answer all of your questions about pricing, payments, delivery times, and all-things-hot-tub! The delivery guys (shout-out to Randy who came back the next day with our missing item) were incredible and they made sure we knew exactly how everything worked. We added an ozonator and a stereo system and we are super happy with our new LA Spa! The before and after pictures are absolutely night and day...Thanks, Bert, Lena, Randy, Brandon, and everyone weve met along the way. Well be back and will refer our friends.

Only in the process of finding a tub so far, but really impressed with the what seems to be a very through process of rebuilding older tubs. Very friendly local owner who has a passion for doing it right and giving his customers a great tub without the high price. Extensive parts and service network for parts that wear in the future. Support local people and reusing is great for the environment!

My friend and I need some place to park while we eat food we just get from Finns Drive-in... She drive and go to Affordable Spa & Pool parking lot for us to eat and conversate... The guy was very knowledgeable, even gave us some tips for our pool. Needed a new gasket for our pump but he didnt have one the exact same, so he gave us one that will the the job and he gave it to us no charge. Nice guy!

I cant believe the negative yelp reviews from several years ago mostly. I have dealt with them over the years for rebuilt motors and supplies. Always going the extra mile and my experiences have always been getting more than I expected. They have shown up on time for my service work and always seeking to provide solutions for my hot tub needs.

I don’t recommend this place to anyone. I had an appointment to have our spa removed. They didn’t show!! A couple hours later I got a call from the office girl asking if they’d been here yet. I told her no and she said she’d see what was going on and call me back. No one ever called and they never showed up. I left messages they never returned my calls. This was a couple months ago. I finally got through and a really rude man answered and said. Send me pictures of the spa. I said Terry had already seen it. He screamed at me!! “I make the decisions around here”. I sent pictures still no response How do these people stay in business Horrible place!!!

We recently stopped in to talk about chemicals for our pool. A very nice young man helped us. He was knowledgeable, friendly and interested in making sure we got what we wanted rather than just selling products. After talking to him and picking his brain some, I’m happy to say We will be buying a hot tub from them in the very near future. Bonus that They’re only a few miles away. Very impressed with Bert and his team. Purchased a hot tub from Affordable Spas last year. Transaction was smooth, delivery happened just as expected. Delivery team was very conscience about placing tub and making sure I understood how to maintain the tub. One year later, spa has worked flawlessly!I have called Affordable spas with questions during the year, Bert has always been helpful. I highly recommend this company.

Its too bad I cant give a negative star review. If you are looking to be ghosted by a business after paying half up front, this is the place for you! Then when you call the store no one can give you any information. They just dont have anyway of knowing the information about spas that have been purchased or when they will be delivered. Only the owner knows that info and he is never available. Terrible experience. Save yourself the frustration, buy your spa elsewhere.

Sounds like recent times have seen a sudden increase in demand for their services (which I can tell you as a fellow business owner can place real strain on staffing and customer service, and generally leads to mistakes). We had such a mistake happen at my rental recently. How a company addresses such things--especially when they suddenly find themselves with a larger customer base and ability to absorb the loss of one client here or there--almost says more to me than how it runs in easy times. They made it right and then some, and the owner apologized personally. Still my top recommend for spa services.

I purchased a spa less than two months ago. Initially I had some problems with the controls, they came out promptly to help me and have been wonderful about my numerous questions. They also came out to check out a jet that was not working for me and solved the problem. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The owner has always been very helpful, and honest. He has always given free advice and has helped save us money. I just recently bought a new cover from him, it was the cheapest place in town and I got it 5 days after I ordered it. I highly recommend visiting him for any spa/pool question. They even offer spa/pool care

Such poor customer service! I have always had to call multiple times to get my questions answered. I never get a call back when I leave a message and the last time I spoke with Bert and placed an order he never got back to me. I am left having to find another supplier that can actually conduct business...

I purchased a spa from Bert on 10/03/2013. It was delivered within the week and they were very helpful setting it up. We bought a refurbished tub and thus several items were supposed to be replaced/fixed prior to delivery. Unfortunately, the promises before purchase havent been realized after payment.Our tub was delivered with a used filter, broken filter housing, and damaged control cover (and the cool color changing LED we were promised wasnt installed). The spa flashed error messages due to the bad filter, and after over a week, with FREQUENT calling, someone came by to check on the unit. He neglected to bring the new filter, broken filter housing, or controls cover, but brought the color changing LED lamp (which he didnt know how to install). 5 minutes of Googling taught me how to install the lamp, after 10 minutes making a special tool to do so it was easy to install.After several weeks, with continued calling the new filter has been delivered. It has been over one month now and despite persistent calls to Bert I havent heard anything about our new controls cover or the filter housing. My calls are typically answered (when I call his cellphone). Dont believe it when Bert says he will call you back :(If you feel like being frustrated and spending a lot of your time on the phone, get a tub from Affordable Spa and Pool. I havent checked the competitors for pricing, so maybe Bert is the cheapest around, but I would have paid a bit more to receive better service (and it would have been money well-spent). The amount of time I have dedicated to calling and checking in on my spa has been exhausting; luckily the hot tub does work, which helps me deal with all the stress of interacting with this company. As of 11/07/2013 we are still waiting on delivery of our missing components. Best of luck.

It was fine. All you gripers, id like to see you run a business. I bought some parts and had other things ordered, had them move a hot tub and deliver it, all on time and in good fashion. Go to a new dealer, do you think they are more righteous because they screw you on something new? Could things be better? Everything could be better. This place has come through while the other dealers were two weeks out on service and parts. Im on my way to go pick up my cover they ordered for me just two days ago. Try to get that anywhere else. Purchasing a spa here was the biggest waste of money I have ever made. Service atrocious late delivery. Had problems shortly after the purchase tried to get service never happened. Ive been trying to get service on my spa for over two years now. I would not recommend this company to anybody I know. I spoke with the owner personally on several occasions and was promised that they would take care of my issues never has happened. If you make a purchase here you will be sorry.

2 times I have given this place a chance. Both times I was looking for parts for my pool. First time after 2 minutes of explaining the part I needed, he informed me that he doesnt make enough money off of parts to invest time looking for it, but if I wanted to buy a new pump he would be happy to help me. The second time, the lady was clueless and again informed me that they get charged the same as I do so I should just contact the manufacturer for the part. But they have plenty of new vacuum heads, if I wanna buy a new one. Horrible customer service. They might actually have good products but who knows?

Bought a spa and had no thing but trouble from day one. It was like pulling teeth to get service, which when it finally happened wasnt worth waiting for. Insisted on them taking the spa back for a different one. Turns out the Ozonator wasnt hooked up, the check flow valve didnt work due to wrongly connected and now the tub leaks. Oh did I mention that I was given a used cover and not a NEW one like advertised. Forget trying to get any service with this company. I have hired an independent con tractor who is honest. Now I am out $300 to repair ALL the problems that where caused from poor service at Affordable Spas. My suggestion is to NOT purchase anything from Affordable Spas, it isnt so affordable. Buyer Beware if you shop at Affordable Spas. Save your time, money and frustration and buy somwe here else.

We purchased a spa from them just before christmas. They delivered it to us christmas eve and the guys all stayed late to get it installed. What a great company we appreciate all they did for us. They have our recommendation 5 stars for them

Scheduled appointment for pool cleaning/winterizing. Tech was a no-show, no-call. Called to find out what happened, they advised that bad weather forced some cancellations and they apologized for not calling. They rescheduled for the following week. Again, tech did not show up and did not call. I went ahead and contacted another company for service.
