Really nice people and place to workout! I really recommend it! I will back soon!
Dropped in completely last minute to do the open workout 20.1, without hesitation accommodated me. I would definitely recommend checking them out! Thank you again!
This place is awesome. Went today and they were super nice and very friendly with me they made me feel like if I was home. Im from out of town but If was a local from the DMV I will definitely join this Gym! Love the people everyone so welcoming!!! They go through all the movements and make sure you understand how to do them. Coaches and Kat they are the best! Thank you so much. anytime Im in town Ill be there for sure 💪💪
Amazing community! I get a great workout in each day and I am surrounded by coaches who truly care and are very knowledgeable. Without a doubt when you become a member, you aren’t just a member, you become part of the CFA family.
Spent two weeks in Fairfax for work and went to this gym 5 days a week for crossfit classes. Sam, the owner, and all the trainers and participants in the classes were very welcoming and supportive. Classes were intense, but doable for someone new at crossfit and they are all happy to work with you at any skill level or substitute workouts jf you have any injuries. This gym really made me wish i had more time in the area just so i could continue attending the classes. I highly recommend it to anyone who does crossfit or wants to start trying.
I always learn something new and get a great workout! Great box!
I had never done CrossFit before but wanted to change up my workout routine from just going to LA Fitness and lifting on the machines/barely getting sweaty. Honestly I drove to the CrossFit Annandale parking lot twice and turned around and went home. I knew from talking to friends that CrossFit was going to be hard and I wasnt sure I wanted to workout in a group setting. One day when I was feeling pretty optimistic from my second cup of coffee I decided to email the gym owner (Sam) to see if I could come in for the free intro workout. He welcomed me with open arms and told me to come by that night and that Id learn on the fly.The first class was a whirlwind and went as follows: We started with a decent warm-up to stretch and get loose. The first core part of the class was and is usually lifting based and not timed, but more on a finish a certain amount of sets basis while learning the proper technique. The second core part of the class was lifting and cardio based for a set amount of time. The class was fun, the people are nice and the time flies. I was super tired by the end and sore the next day, but that was expected. I dont know if I was 100% hooked but was curious to see more so I signed up for three months and vowed to give it my best and see if I wanted to continue after that.Today is the last day of my first month at CrossFit Annandale. I attended 20 CrossFit and 2 Yoga classes there this month. There is no question that I will continue after three months. I cant imagine going back to working out in a different format at this point. This place in particular has incredible instructors. The class sizes are usually small (under 10 people) and the instructors watch you like a hawk to make sure you have proper technique as well as help you get through tough times when you want to quit. All shapes, sizes and fitness levels welcome. Best decision Ive made in a long time to drink those two cups of coffee and email Sam; I hope you do the same if you are reading this and on the fence. Thanks!
Is good. Very fun and acomplished
