Every trucker has a different experience. mine was excellent.May be, because it was the start of the day. my appointment was at 6am. i arrived there at 3:50am. just went to security to ask what time they start. He asked me to bring paperwork so that he could check me in.which was absolutely unexpected for me. they start at 5am. 5:10 got the door actually i was the first one to go in. Technically, there is no night parking but i believe it is up to the guard if he allows you or dont. when i got there, already there was a truck, sleeping there on the pavement whereduring day we make a line.it means that purely it is up to the security guard. No need to say about Capstone. we all know how they work. enough room for back up. new facility. due to covid no use of inside washroom is available. only outside. I would like to appreciate the security guy for his kind gesture.

Can only arrive 1hr before appointment and NO OVERNIGHT PARKING. Park where the curve begins and or guard will make you back up THEN walk paperwork up to guard. It took them 3hrs to unload me. They called me when done and paperwork was in the back of trailer 🇭🇳👍🏽😎👍🏽🇭🇳

Got here at midnight for a 0800 apt. Told me to come back at 0700. Come back at 0645 and walk to the gaurd shack from the back of the line about 10 trucks long. They check me in and say theyll call me when they have a dock. They called me with a dock at 1120. Done unloading at 1220. Its now 1300 and still waiting on paperwork. Trash place

It has already been more than 6 hoursThis is an awful place to get unloaded. One of those places you come to, sleepy, get plenty of sleep, and they still aren’t done unloading you. Make sure you have plenty of time and patience on your hands because your reload will surely get cancelled 😡

Been here for 6 hours already. Took 3 hours to get checked in and another 3 to unload yet still waiting for paperwork and green light. So ridiculous, if there were 4 people unloading my truck it shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes. I recommend have a lot of time and patience when you come here.

Pull into the 1st drive and hug the driveway to the left. Take paperwork up to guard shack and check in. They will call you and let you know what door to drive to, I was an hour early and sate for about 45 min before being Assighned a dock for unloading. Trailer tandems have to be slid to the rear of trailer prior to driving in.You drive in take paperwork and brake seal, place all items in back of trailer prior to docking. Cap stone is the lumper, and they are sooooo slow, over 5 hrs to unload. Once unloaded they will send you a text message to pay lumper. Not sure about restrooms could not find one. Again take a snack because you will be here a while, slow like a snail 🐌 crossing the Antarctic

Bad Place like every mclane takes for ever to unload your truck, after you paid the Lumper they put product back to your Truck saying that is outdated or Over, also leaving you garbage on your trailer for you to deal with rejections and Garbage, this is typical from any Mclane warehouse, I totally dont recommend this palce.

I got here at 9am and they didnt start unloading me still 3:15pm. Lumper surcharge fee applies if your paying by Check and not cash. Not sure if they allow overnight parking on property but I guess you can park on the road that leads to the guard house. O yeah make sure you have food on your truck. Nothing near by to eat.

De
Review №34

This place is garbage. You are expected to be here per appointment but on their end they will line you up at the entrance and call you when they’re ready. Normally you’ll pull into a shippers property and pull up to the guard shack to check in unless there’s a sign that says otherwise. Here they expect you to somehow know that they want trucks to line up in the driveway and then walk to the guard shack. It doesn’t take much to know why, they simply do not have the skills to operate on schedule. There is no onsite parking here, you will be held hostage here for many hours and then rushed off the property when they finally decide to finish. There is a lumper payment required for this garbage service and they are expensive too. If your going to pay out of pocket and then get reimbursed, make sure to bring around $350. Clearly this is common practice here, just look at the other reviews. You might ask how can companies like this stay operational with such horrible treatment? It’s through deception. When booking loads you only see the the city and state of the pickup/delivery. Brokers need to hide this information because a simple google search prior to booking the load would expose dead beat shippers like this and it would allow carriers to avoid this scam. And it is a scam as carries are not a part of the loading and unloading process therefore keeping a truck around for many hours while they count the load is a complete waste of time for the carrier. The shipper is required to put a seal on the trailer, the receiver is required to verify the seal is in tact. Whatever is over or short is due to the shipper over or under loading, again, not the concern of the carrier to wait around and see if this was done properly. The national average rate for Van right now is $1.87, it is not profitable for carriers to spend a day of driving plus another day of unloading on 1 load. They are deadbeats over here, yes the are because they will take their time to do whatever they have to do with as many trucks as they need, to move as much freight as they must in order to stay profitable while they do not care at all about what you need to do to stay profitable. This is in simple terms referred to as taking advantage of someone. It looks like many of us have been taken advantage of here but it won’t happen again, I’m going to remember this place and it will not get another shipment out of me.

Havent even got a dock yet and i can already tell this place is a nightmare. Heard they take forever to unload and there are over 10 trucks waiting past the gaurd shack, line stretches all the way out to the highway. There are no signs warning you but park at the end of the line dont pull up to the shack or the gaurd will have a hissy fit. Got confused there because most trucks had curtains pulled, thought they were here way early and sleeping. Arrived 30min prior to appointment time and waited for 2hr. Unloading also took 2hr, at least backing into dock was easy.

Companies like this are part of the problem in the trucking industry that creates a domino effect on everyone else’s appointments and your other pick ups and deliveries. They are definitely on my blacklist of losers to never go to.Don’t arrive more than one hour early (appt is a joke anyway) park on the side walk up to the guard check and check in.
