If you use your truck everyday for work, you really need to leave it in Lems capable hands next time you need to get it repaired or serviced. This garage is busy, theres no shortage of diesels in need of repair and servicing. However (this is directly out of the mans mouth) if you need to have this servicing done on your work vehicle that you use daily to make your living, your vehicle is his priority so that you can get back out there, making your living. That points out a great quality in a mechanic doesnt it? Lem works there everyday along with his really kind wife and hes all about helping the working man out. Seems to me that the average Joe who lives by the honest work for honest pay credo is becoming more and more, an endangered species. I fall into that description. seems like more than ever before, and especially of late, I see a more and more people who have no problem doing nothing for their living, wishing rather, to let working taxpayers pay for their free ride (free for them, not everybody else). Its really really nice to see somebody like Lem whos willing to recognize hard-working people and who wants to help them out doing that hard work by giving their vehicles priority. Thanks Lem, cant tell you how much I appreciate that!So please, give this guy some honest pay and hell give return the gesture but performing some honest work on your vehicle and dont expect to get overcharged or swindled in any way, hes the real deal. The man also has been in business long enough to know quite a bit about what hes doing so theres no need to worry about him making any rookie mistakes on your vehicle and messing it all up.I feel vulnerable kike I kind of stuck my neck out there a little bit far on this review, kinda waxed a little more political than I usually prefer to. I like to stay out of such things but these words are words that I believe in and i felt like they applied to this review so I hope I havent offended anybody. just know I believe that everybodys allowed to think and feel whatever they want to think and feel about anything and I cant say whether theyre wrong or right because I only know whats wrong and right for me. The words that Ive said in this review are just things that I believe in and that doesnt mean that I think anybody else is wrong for believing otherwise. Im not a person to judge anybody else for what they do, thats their business (I mean, unless its something crazy and obviously evil).if youre still reading, thanks for making it this far, if you could use some work on your truck, dont forget Lem, I think once you use his services, youll be using them again. thanks for reading this far and thanks again Lem! oh yeah, one more thing. while I was there signing my truck out, they told me that somebody had wrote them a one-star Google review and pretty much blasted them. The person that wrote the review had never been a customer of theirs and the services that they were complaining about had never been done. They were thinking it was a competitor or something. So if you read any bad reviews about this place please take them with a grain of salt and maybe just give Lems a try yourself. I cant see them getting a bad review from anybody.

Great shop to use. They gave me an estimate for all work, and then fixed items at the estimated cost or less, and then determined one item was not needed. Good to have honest people like Lems around to work on your truck.

Its been some time ago now. But I was having trouble with my transmission on my Taurus. I took it to Lems. And the honesty and professionalism I experience was beyond what I expected. When he called to let me know it was just actually a transmission sensor and that would be a much cheaper fixed then the transmission would be. Needless to say I was just delighted. They could have told me anything and I have believed it. But thats not how these folks do business theyre honest light Im just a great bunch of people.

Place is a rip off. Owner is extremely dishonest. I was out of the country and the oil sending unit went bad in my wife’s envoy. This was the only place she could find that could look at it the same day. Had it towed there. They called her a couple hours later and said they would not work on her car until they did a complete brake service. I had just put new pads on about 3 months prior. They had her pinned and knew it. Don’t waste your time or money.

Had to be towed here on a Friday. Got there about lunch time. After discussing the symtoms, dead battery, was told I should go have lunch. When we got back they had already installed a new battery and were testing the alternator. Ended up with new battery and alternator. Cost was very reasonable. If I ever break down again in the Springfield area Ill get towed there.

Agree with most other reviews on here. Theyre a bunch of crooks. Ive used them 3 times and my ticket is always a lot more than their estimate and havent been too impressed with the work either. Im done with them.

Scammers,I overheard the conversation where Lem told a man he would make his car where it wont work.DO NOT bring a car here if you dont want to be cheated.

I cannot say enough good things about this shop. I was having problems with my 2006 Ford F-250 6.0 Powerstroke while on a cross country trip from Texas to Vermont in June of 2017. I limped my truck in there towing a 20 trailer with an alternator situation that 2 other shops couldnt seem to fix (one in El Paso and one in Oklahoma). I had already lost 4.5 days of travel due to this problem and was worried I was going to battle this truck all the way to VT. Lucky for me I found Lems shop and his mechanics switched out my Alternator and did a full check of my electrical system just to ensure I was good to go for the rest of the trip. Not only did they get me in right away (as I was on the road) I was able to talk to Lem for an hour and learn more about my truck and all of the tricks/keys to owning a Ford Powerstroke with EGR problems. I only found Lems shop because he was recommended to me by the company Bulletproof Diesel as a preferred installer of the Bulletproof EGR system I have on my truck. I didnt have a single problem with my alternator or electrical system after that and I owe a significant debt of gratitude to the shop. Again I can not say enough about this shop.

His mechanic Scott Lightfoot sold me Completely rebuilt motor & Lems auto service installed & checkedThey took new air compressor off & put old one on rebuilt motor & now they said has dead #1 cylinder & wont fix*2250.00Terrible place. Stay away

Dishonest company. tried telling me you injectors where bad. they dont actually do test on the truck. they go off noise. my 03 6.0 was having a loping issue at cold starts. tried telling me that it was my injectors and map sensor. I wasnt either of these. I good knowledgeable shop would have went right after the ipr valve and icp sensor. tried charging me over 2500$ just for a set of 8 stock injectors with a 6 month warranty. thats a bunch of bs. they do not know what they r doing. I changed the ipr and icp myself and it runs just fine if not better. no lope at all. do not take ur diesel there. just as bad as Baillie diesel if not worse. just another money hungry shop. u would have better chance with the a dealer shop then this one. if u cant do the work urself.

The owner is a crook and a liar... I tried him 5 yrs ago and he tried to charge 200 for oil change .... This time he quote me a price so I went in and he denies it. Raised it 200 $ ...Lied right to my face....I told him what he said on phone and he ran me out of office...Said he didnt want my.business....Wow.... A crook for sure
