Went in with my 11 yo daughter. First noticed the sign that says its a good day to be a dude. Thats nice but false. They wanted to charge 10 EXTRA dollars to trim my daughters hair because it was passed her shoulders🤣 it seems this establishment does everything to keep women from coming in. I bet the manly men love it! I, a father, do not.

I always enjoy going to Sport Clips. The hair stylists are pleasant and professional. It has never felt unclean. Online check-in makes it easy to get a place in the queue before you ever leave home. I always get the MVP as the hot towel and scalp massage are absolutely worth it. I have been going there for a few years now and will continue to do so going forward.

Overbearing atmosphere, non-inclusive, and wildly overpriced. Received what amounted to a mediocre buzz-cut for far more than it was worth and it was not what I wanted. Do not recommend.

Sport clips is a great place to relax and get a great hair cut. The ladies are super helpful with amazing service. I wont go anywhere else to get a cut.

Looking for a sporty haircut in an over-the- top manly atmosphere? The prices are higher than at the competition, and the haircuts arent any better. But, they do provide extra service. Lots of televisions all set to the same sporting event. Scalp massage, and neck and back massage, are nice, but are extra. If you just want to haircut, go someplace else. If you want a haircut experience, this is the place for you

Started with sports clips years ago in Collinsville, then Edwardsville and now in Springfield. Nothing but a hour wait, online folks that sign up then don’t show etc. They have made it impossible to just go get a haircut. Last three days over hour last night went in at 7pm they close at 8. 3 stylist cutting hair one almost done with client, myself and two other gentleman on board 45 min wait. Come on good bye been a great 10 year run

My son-in-law got his hair cut. They do walk ins. The wait wasnt too long. They reproduced a cut and style from a photograph. The service was great.

Asked stylist for some advice about changing my hair and she asked why I even came there if I didn’t know what I wanted, was not professional and was rude throughout the whole appointment. Do not recommend if you want a new style

Bring a disposable mask! I was wearing a mask with a patriotic logo- it was from a charity which supports our troops. I asked the hairdresser if I should take it off. She said no. About two minutes later, she cut the ear band in half, but offered to do nothing. The manager said it was my fault for choosing to wear the mask.... so... there you go :-)

I am not the one getting the haircut but yes they do a very good job. They keep your preferred haircut so the next time you come in they know what to do and not waste time asking too many questions of what certain cut youd prefer.

This was the first time taking my son here and he absolutely loved the MVP...cant stop talking about it!!! Thought it was really cool that he got his hair washed, a massage and loved the hot towel. The staff was super friendly and he now has a new favorite place to get his haircut...Ill definitely be taking him back. Plus getting to watch a game while I wait is pretty cool 👍

Stylist was very nice and knowledgeable. Explained everything she was doing and made sure I got the cut I wanted. Worth the visit as getting shampood with the hot towel and massage chair is very relaxing.

Had to get a haircut for graduation and decided to try this place out since my barber had dislocated his elbow. This has been the worst fade I have ever received!!! Had to go back to my og barber to fix this treacherous incident they call a fade! Never going there again!!! 👎👎👎

Sports clips has always treated me well and performed a great cut on my hair and beard.I am very picky about getting my beard cut and the wonderful staff here know who is good with them, just ask when you sign in. I have yet to have a bad experience after coming here for years.Also, guys with thinning hairlines, try the American Crew Boost Powder, it works wonders for volumizing! Just mention it to the stylist when they are putting products in so you can try!

Took grandson for a haircut, was an average experience for an $18.00 haircut for a 3 year old. Spray bottle, buzzers and a couple snips. Got home noticed his bangs were WAY off.

I received a top-notch experience from the stylist Desirae! She had a meticulous attention to detail (why else would I pay for a haircut - I loved that she took the time to do it RIGHT), was very affable and also was willing to work with me on creating a style that not only fit my ideas but she also helped upgrade it with modifications I hadnt thought of and was very educational on how to take care of it and what the differences were in various products I could use. If I am going to pay money for a service, I need the provider to be thorough and provide value: Desirae was above and beyond in both of these aspects. Thank you!

This was the first haircut Ive had in 6 years that Ive been truly satisfied with. My stylist was very detail oriented. She listened to what I wanted and asked questions to double check she was doing as I desired. I was offered the top of the line treatment which time permitting Id have probably accepted. Always have a great experience at Sport Clips and Springfields location was no different. Stopped in at lunchtime, expecting to wait a bit and they got me right in. And despite it being my first time at this location, they cut my hair perfectly. The stylist was the usual perfect mix of friendliness and quickness Ive come to expect from Sport Clips haircutters. They dont make me feel like theyre trying to rush me out of their chair, but they also dont make me late for anything by talking my ear off and taking way too long. Anyway, it was yet another great cut. Really lived this location and since I do a lot of business in Springfield, I will be returning!!

First time in a Sports Clips. And let me say, I am more impressed with this place than I am the downtown trendy baber! The ladies did an amazing job on my man and his beard! I also was really impressed with how they cleaned up and prepared for the next customer.

That was my 1st. And last visit to this hair salon.. Its pricey and the hair stylist didnt cut my hair the way I told her to do. I have my stylist in chicago but I didnt go there long time ago.I would rather to shave my hair to ZERO than to go to this place anymore..

Great haircut. Short wait time. First time I had been there for a haircut. Alyssa made sure she was cutting my hair the way I liked.

A normal haircut is $18, plus a tip. Free upgrade to MVP treatment on your first visit which is nice. All the stylists are at least ok, but each is different so you have to have an open mind about what you will walk out with. Even though they advertise no awkward conversations because you just watch sports, the stylists still push the normal conversations.

You can reserve a time or let them know you are coming on their website. Solid haircut, you can request a specific hair stylist that way you get a consistent haircut. They save your preferences.

I asked for her to leave my hair alone on the top. She did the complete opposite and took 2-3 inches off the top. It was 1 of the 2 things I told her to do.
