Such a cool place to get your hair cut. I took my 6 year old son here and he absolutely loved it. I cant remember the womans name who cut his hair but she was fantastic and listened to all of his needs. She made sure to blow dry him off between sections so he didnt get itchy. They also played awesome oldies music and the decor was so unique.I would definitely recommend!

He’s never needed to, but he’s always been willing to go the extra mile if he has missed the mark. He has always gone above and beyond. If you are looking for a small local barber, give him a shot.

Dave is my favorite barber in the state of Missouri. I started going to Dave about 2 years ago and I often travel to Springfield from Columbia MO just for a cut from Dave. The owner is professional and sets exceptional standards for quality. His attention to detail is unrivaled. He offers a $40 barber and style experience for less than half that price. He offers excellent hair products, and if you dont know what hairstyle best suits you, he will help you find the right style.

I go with my boyfriend all the time when he goes to Elys Barber and Style, David Ely does such an amazing job with doing exactly what the client asks for. David also gives tips and recommendations on styling, new products and very knowledgeable on the different cigars at the shop. Elys has such an amazing atmosphere from when you walk in everything is so clean and laid back. I would definitely recommend anyone that is looking for a very skilled, upbeat and knowledgeable barber to make an appointment online with David.

David is a great barber with tons of experience. I’ve gone to many barbershops all over the U.S. totaling around 100 and David pays more attention to detail than any other barber I’ve come across. I would recommend going there not only for a superior cut compared to those in town but also for he value. Wow.Never in my life have I experienced this level of excellence in a barber chair.Some folks hire a teenager to cut their grass. Others hire a landscaping specialist. David at Elys Barber and Style resembles the latter.I have very fine hair and a unique-shaped head- usually a daunting challenge for even the most experienced barbers. Amazing Barber. I didnt get regular haircuts for years and I had trouble finding a steady Barber(once I cut my hair). He knew exactly what I wanted and delivered. The cut was quick but not rushed and he was very friendly. I wont go anywhere else!!
