I had insurance through Nick got a new vehicle and he got smoked by progressive and geico. i advised Nick and he was super nice and got his price down near the other guys and i decided to stay with Nick. I go to file a claim and all the sudden my deductible when from 500 to 1000. He lied to me when i asked if anything changed and he said no VIA EMAIL now i have to replace a 800 window because of these cons. NO ONE SHOULD BELIEVE THESE LIARS

Nick Preston is the kind of guy that you want backing your insurance needs. I found myself in a very tight spot needing insurance and needing it fast. After being told by other insurance agencies $500 down and $485.00 a month we will give you a $500 deductible with full coverage or even Go somewhere else for a year and then come back after that and we will see what we can do for you... Everyone was either extremely expensive or just plainly told me no. So I called Nick Preston at Shelter Insurance and told him what I needed and within 30 mins I had an appointment to go in and sign the paperwork the next day. Mr. Preston got me what I needed when I needed it. The best part is that I pay so much less than every other company told me I would have to pay. To Nick Preston I say thank you.

I’m not sure about all of the other shelter insurance’s, but this one took great care of me. I called a couple of insurance companies and was told that they would get back to me with a quote but they never did. (Im still waiting lol) Jim, (which by the way is very awesome) called me back in less than 10 minutes gave me a quote. I met with him about 30 minutes Later and within that hour I had insurance!!!!! these guys are very professional and fast on their feet when it comes to taking care of their customers I highly recommend this place!

Was actually pulled over for a blinker violation in the middle of the weekend. I didnt have the updated copy of my insurance policy, obviously the officer was not a fan of that. Anyway, the officer went back to write me the ticket for two violations that my record CANNOT handle so, I got on the horn quick and made a call. MR. PRESTON himself answered the phone and text me a copy of insurance card before the officer got back with the tickets and we escaped scott free, no tickets, no warnings! Thats small town customer service for ya!
