I had a skylight window that lost its seal and became foggy. I contacted 3 different glass specialists and had vastly different customer experiences upon initial meetings when they came out to my house to take measurements. Glass Guru was by far the most friendly, most honest, and had the most competitive pricing. I cannot say enough positive things about the experience. The people in the office followed up promptly after every visit, the crew was extremely professional and left no traces behind. They even loved my dog who just wanted pets from them the entire visit. I would highly recommend Glass Guru and would give them more stars if I could!

We broke the glass shelves inside one of our display cases. We went to the Glass Guru to see about having replacement shelves made. The people at Glass Guru were great. They helped us with the measurements and were very precise. The end result was two perfectly fitting glass shelves, which were actually much better than the original shelves. We highly recommend this business for their high quality and reasonable prices.

STAY AWAY! I called them to look at 1 window, they sent an estimator out took measurements and they gave me a decent 1st quote, after they found out the house was being sold and the repair needed to be made, they try to take advantage of the situation and sent out another guy to look at the window and they changed their quote by adding a $200 more fee! There are other and better companies out there! Shop around people don’t get fooled by them!

We had a double pane window that the seal had broken and turned all milky. They did a great job replacing the glass and the window looks like new. We also had a lot of windows where the Window beading was separating from the window and even broke off and cracked because of sun exposer. They did a wonderful job repairing and/or replacing the beading around all those windows. Very happy with the responsiveness, professionalism and flexibility to work around my schedule and will call them again for any window repairs that may arise.

I needed a window repair on my double pane window due to a cracked seal and they sent a Technician out the very next day.Then three days later they had my window glass fabricated and brought out to my house at a time that was convenient for me and it didnt take the technician any time at all to complete the job.I will be using Glass Guru for all my window maintenance and repair needs.

Awesome job from The Glass Guru. The company was very professional from their evaluation to the measurement to the installation. The crew was on time, explained what they were doing and finished the job on the day and time they said they would. We had already been stung by another glass company where they took our $600 to order the glass and then never came back. The Glass Guru gave us a good quote to replace the broken windows and then did everything they said they would do. I would definitely use them again.

Called glass guru because my son broke his bedroom window. I gave them the dimensions and they told me they could fix it. I took the frame to them and was told I would get it back in a couple of days. They called me 2 days later to let me know they couldnt fix the window because they didnt have the glass. Theyre a glass company; they fix windows. They dont have quarter inch thick glass? That doesnt make sense to me. Im very disappointed in this company and only gave them one star cuz I had to in order to post. Take your broken windows to multi-glass on klein rd. Theyll actually fix your stuff!

We are very pleased with the timeliness and professionalism of The Glass Guru. They called and showed up when they said they would and walked us through our options with window glass replacement (we had some pretty big windows). Also we had a hiccup with removal/replacement bc of our shutters and they walked us through that also. The crew was communicative and polite and did very good work. I would not hesitate to recommend and we will definitely use The Glass Guru again because of fair pricing, excellent communication and professional installation.

Glass Guru made replacing a window in my house beyond easy! The same day I called they had someone out to my house for an estimate and had the window replaced the very next day! I am not pleased at all with the service I received from The Glass Guru Company. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone. The Glass Guru was the worst experience with a service company that I have ever had in the Greater Houston or the surrounding area. The owner scheduled a date and time several days in advance to come out and quote replacing a broken glass in a patio door at one of my properties. On the date of the appointment, no one showed up and no one called. I thought that was extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional. This should have been the first and only strike to move on from this company. I called the office and the receptionist told me that the owner was not going to be able to make it and needed to reschedule. I am very disappointed in myself because I should have moved on from this company at that time. When the owner finally made to the property to inspect the patio door he gave me a price and scheduled a follow-up date to come back and install the glass. I paid him 50% to order the glass and the remaining amount was to be paid after the glass was installed. The workmanship of the technician who installed the glass was of extremely poor quality. There were gaps were left in the doorframe and the glass. I was very disappointed I requested that the owner come back out to inspect the work and he never did. My tenant complained that the door was not opening and closing easily and after two months of my tenant operating the sliding patio door during a random moment the glass that was installed by The Glass Guru shattered during an attempt to open the door. I called the next day to talk to the owner who I dealt with exclusively prior to installing the glass and he would not even get on the phone to discuss the matter. I had to communicate through the receptionist. I asked her to please contact the owner or have him call me so I can explain what happened. She never called me back nor did he so I had to call back to the receptionist when she answered I was finally told that the owner said that the original doorframe was compromised before the glass was installed. I became extremely angered and frustrated after being given this response by his receptionist. The owner after taking my money did not even have the decency to call me personally to hear my grievance rather he chose to hide behind his receptionist. I was livid by the owner’s lack of interest and his very poor customer service! I asked the receptionist why he did not tell me that before they installed the glass and took my payment. I also asked for a refund that would be fair to us both parties and I was told sorry, but there is nothing we can do. Two days have past and I still have not received a courtesy phone call back from the owner. At this point, I am strongly considering taking legal action against this company in court and I will be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau!

Friendly,Convenient, same day service...YES! Overpriced for the job I needed done... also YES!I normally shop around, but currently my schedule is TIGHT, and I needed glass TODAY. I was charged $40 for 2 single pane non-tempered pieces of glass that are around 18x14.Take your time and shop your projects before you overspend!

Called this place to see if they repaired glass and screens. I was told they did and to bring it in for a quote. I let the gentleman know I’d be there within an hour. Upon my arrival (within the hour), I was told that he was not there. I left the small window pane and screen to get a quote when he returned. A couple of hours later, I received a call letting me know that the screen and window charges would be $210. Two small pieces of glass (18X8, obscured) and an approximate 18X18 screen with a thumb sized hold. I took the glass to another local “high end” glass place and they charged $10 to repair the glass and $5 for the other piece of glass. They referred me to True Value Hardware, $7 to rescreen! Insane that the quote was that high. I even clarified the repair only, not a new manufactured piece.

I took a single sheet of glass to this business so they could make me two replacement pieces. When they call me two hours later I come back to pick up the glass I noticed that they cut the glass wrong. It was 1/2 inch to long on two side. I ask them to fix the issues annd that it would be ready at five. I have to call them and its not ready till the following day.Bad customer service and one of the pieces still does not work. Find someone else to do the work for you..

We had a great experience w/ Glass Guru. Everything about the process -- from the estimate, measurement and replacement - was professional and seamless. They did a superb job of communicating with us by text and email.

I had an appointment with Glass Guru that I rearranged my schedule for, unfortunately they called they day before to cancel and offered no explanation. They did offer other times but the timing did not work. I ended up calling another company to help me out, it turns out their pricing was better too.

The Glass Guru team was quick and efficient. They were able to provide us with a large mirror in the same day. Other stores wanted me to order and wait until Monday. This company was able to keep our project on schedule. Thank you !

If you have tp replace windows, call Manuel and see if you can replace the glass only. We had over 21 windows whos seals had failed. Manuel came personally and quoted the big job. He gave all the details on different glass types and he was very patient with us as we asked questions about tint, filler, etc. All the WINDOW people we called wanted to replace the entire window with sash and framing but these windows were meant to have glass only replacements and Manuel delivered. This saved is over $10,000 from unscrupulous Window people who look down on Glass Replacement because it is not what they do. The install went very well. He and his team moved the furniture, replaced it all and did a great job of cleaning up. As a contrast, the first quote I got was from a guy who sore flip flops and his tee shirt did not quite cover the rear end parts that I can not un-see. Glass Guru is professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. They installed a pane of glass that I later found to have a scratch in it. They replaced it no questions asked and it was a large pane of dual pane glass. I highly recommend them.
