The prices dont seem much better than Leslie, which confused me because the name was pinch a penny....However, here is how they will save you money- They are honest and minimalistic in their recommendations and dont seem to be pushing too much product on you like the other places. I trust them a lot more with advice than the other guys, but wish I saw better prices in store.

Been doing business with this Pinch A Penny and all the others around town. I guess it’s because my employees got there when they first opened but the young tech did not want to honor our normal discount and kept giving excuses why we couldn’t get bulk. Guess we won’t buy our SH from here,100’s of gallons a week.

At the time my pool looked like a swamp no joke, it was bad. Knowing that the problems were out of my control I had to get help. I called Pinch a Penny from a referral. I spoke to Brandon and after describing my pool Brandon offered to come by to provide an estimate. It turned out my problem was due to a poor design from the filter/backwash installation. This required replacing the Backwash manifold and some new 2 poly. After the equipment was repaired Brandon returned my pool into to a crystal clear pH balanced pool within a few days, Unreal, in less than one week my pool went from a swamp to show piece. With all this Pinch A Penny was the least expensive service Ive used.

I needed a part for my pool pump. They did not have it in stock but said they will pick it up for me. They called me within an hour and said my part was at the store. Very helpful with water test.

They don’t ever use a cleaning thing for the pool. Maybe chemicals but in and out within 5 minutes and the pool still has dirt. We have a cleaning deal. And 3 hours after they left it was dirty that ours missed. They don’t even try to clean it. Tried to talk with them about the pricing and they don’t listen. Run the other way!!! Call me for $170 I will actually not only clean your pool but put chemicals in it too. No concern for you and trying to resolve anything. If someone is home then time then and watch what they actually do. It’s a joke. So sad the wife even had to agree that they don’t do a thing. Then threatened to keep my money and not finish the service. Thief’s!

I love this place. I’m so glad I found it. Super convenient and the guys there are beyond helpful. They are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and went the extra mile to help me get my pool up and running again. The prices are great and they never try to sell me stuff I don’t need. My experience has been nothing but positive and I will continue to use them for all my pool needs.

I walked in having no idea what I needed to get my pool from a green swamp to swimable. These guys walked me through every step and no tried to oversell me on products I didn’t need. I was amazed how great the service and prices were.

I received a flyer in the mail about this pool supply company and decided to go there for a water test and to buy chlorine. With their sale the prices were comparable to Costco and other stores. The workers were very friendly and did a great job explaining my results. I had my own tests and they confirmed the readings but at the same time gave a very detailed sheet of the chemicals needed and the way to apply. I hope the service and friendliness of the staff continues and i will continue to go there for my pool needs.

This place is the equivalent of Trusted Mechanic for your pool. These guys are experienced, down to earth and super friendly.After being tired of constantly putting in chemicals into the pool each time I tested the water at the other place I googled some neighborhood pool supply stores and found this place. During my return trips I had a chance to talk to Mike and Kyle couple of times and realized how down to earth, straight forward and knowledgeable they are. They have a no nonsense approach to your pool care were quite willing to accept my different approach to pool maintenance instead of balking at my method of keeping the pool crystal clear. Instead of trying to convince me to switch to using tablets they accepted my liquid chlorination methods which are working great and periodically supply me with other chemicals just to keep a nice balance. Speaking of which - the chemicals they sell are perfectly fine - they do a great job without the hefty price tag.Also, if youre like me and you use liquid bleach instead of chlorine tablets to maintain your chlorine, ask them about their refillable chlorine jugs - you can save some money and reduce the waste you generate! Total win!

Purchased a new pump and motor for my pool, was expecting installation by the end of the week, but was put on schedule sooner due to my emergency. Pinch A Penny has a great team whom were very nice and helpful.

Brandon, Kyle and Pat are 2nd to none. They have helped me since I resurfaced our pool offering advice during each stage. I used to go to Texsun, but they are over priced and not half as helpful.
