Its fairly decent care... takes a long time to get an appointment, weeks or even over a month to get in... but they take walk ins if you wanna wait for them to fit you in.. can take hours.. and phones arent answered promptly, sometimes you wait an hour or more, or have to get a callback, just to talk to a real person... but overall, its a dr office.. they do the usual doctor stuff.. other than that its pretty good as far as doctors offices go...
I have visited the Spring location three times now, Elsy at the front desk provided wonderful customer service, and keeps me coming back!
I have gone here for years. My fave was Natoya Caston but she left. I now have Dr. Christina Hamme. She is wonderful and listens to your concerns. She also makes sure you are referred to who you need. I wish Lone Star had a dental office here in Spring but I have no issues with the Conroe Dental office. Dr. Garcia is best!
Total crock! Called for an appointment to get bloodwork and general checkup done recovering from diagnosed strepthroat. They told me they had to make it a covid appointment since its a symptom of covid. When I told them my covid test 3 days ago was negative they still refused to make the appointment as a general wellness checkup. That was the second call, the first time I called I was hung up on after being put on hold.
This was a waste of time and money. They knew i was coming in because i had a miscarriage. I get here and the dr tells me they cant do anything and refers me to their OBGYN saying thats who I need to go see. I cant even get in to the OB till middle of March. If thats who I need to go see then why did they have me scheduled this appointment with them?. Im out $92 and didnt get any services done. 😢😥
Love this place. Better than all of the other clinics Ive been too. Natoya Caston listens to your every concern and now that shes gone Penelope Mcclendon has filled her shoes in every way. After she pulled my file she too has been very attentive to my medical needs.Shes doing great ☺️👍🏽👌🏽
Clean and professional place.I had good experience, especially the nurse who took blood from me was extremely professional and caring.I always had black and blue arm after blood work for days. This time i hardly see where she took blood from. And no pain at all.Thank you!
Took my daughter here for the 1st time for her 15 month check up. Every staff member that I came across was very personable and kind. They were so friendly with my daughter and made her feel comfortable. I would highly recommend. They treated us way better than her regular pediatrician. I was not rushed nor did I have to wait any longer then 5 minutes to be called back. Will be returning for sure
Lejía or however your spell her name at the front desk provides terrible service. I’ve been to this office 3 times for my daughter’s baby check ups but suddenly Lejia didn’t let the doctor see my daughter due to a technical difference - not error - on my daughter’s Medicaid. Something that had never been mentioned at all to me. She didn’t offer assistance and had a terrible attitude. I do not recommend this office because of the rude front desk staff who will keep you for getting the care needed for your baby. Lejía needs to get a job that suits her attitude better.
This is my first visit to this clinic, so far so good. The staff were friendly and courteous. The wait time could use some improvements.
The Dr is great. But, if you say you take walk ins, take walk ins. Waiting all morning and getting a cancelled appointment is not a walk in appt. There is no guarantee you will be seen. You could sit there all morning and still not be seen. Their walk in policy is just you crossing your fingers and hoping someone cancels.
Wow! First time to actually speak with someone at this place. She didnt give her name and I sure wish I would have asked, but she was so abrupt and rude and just matter of fact. Very cold. Im calling on behalf of a friend and hes desperate so Im not saying were not going to go there, just what a first impression!
My kids have only seen one doctor their entire lives. We recently moved to Conroe and I was so worried that I would have a hard time finding a good clinic for my kids, since theyre used to one clinic. I cant believe my first choice, Lone Star Health, was the best choice. The staff is really professional and have everything together! The nurses are so patient and knowledgeable. The clinic is so clean. Dr. Robert is fantastic. I havent waited in the waiting room for long. I cant believe in this day and age, the outstanding care that is given at this clinic. I wont be going anywhere else and it eases my mind that I dont have to bounce around clinics when it comes to my familys care. I am so fortunate to have found this place.
So many places arent accepting new patients, but Im glad I found this place. The staff is friendly and the office is small but nice. I have seen the doctor and the nurse practitioner and they both are attentive and seem like they really care. I did have to wait a while, but who doesnt at a doctors office? I am willing to wait if I get good care.
Staff and my doctor is always nice and Ive never had an bad experience here.
This is by far the worse exam I’ve ever experienced. I literally showed up 15 minutes early and still had to wait 45 minutes for my exam. The exam itself was the most painful exam ever ! I don’t understand how a basic exam leaves you in pain with severe cramping but it does. I was legit in there for an hour for a 20 minute exam. The only good part about it was the check in staff. Everything else was literally a long and painful process !
I visited Lone star community health center for the first time on Tue. July 3, 2018. I was ambushed by a student in training and a doctor by the name of Robert Wren. I looked his name up and it said that he is a nurse care practitioner. But in the office, he told me that he was a doctor. To make a long story short. The staff was rude. It was my first visit there and they started shutting the lights off and getting ready to leave while I was the only person in the waiting area waiting for my ride to be picked up. The doctor made the comment you cant be leaving them up there like that and I was the only person waiting in the waiting area. The receptionist asked him why? And he looked right in my eyes and said: because they might take something. He discriminated against me because Im black and Im a female. I will never return to that godforsaken office. It may look nice on the outside and be in a decent area but beware. Let me just add, my wait was a long time and I ended up telling the receptionist to tell the doctor that I wouldnt steal a piece of paper from them, and that I would never be returning. And I will be changing my doctor asap. I ended up having to walk out and go to a walgreens and purchase water and hangout outside until my ride arrived. In the scorching hot summer heat. It had to be 110 degrees that day. People deserve to be treated fairly no matter their class, race, gender, religion, etc.
I couldnt be any happier with Dr. Ho, the Lone Star Lab up in Conroe, her office staff or nurse practitioner. They are all very nice descent human beings, friendly, professional and very competent in what they do.Dr Ho is extremely competent, current, on the ball, takes what time she needs to explain things, looks for and finds the best solutions. She is conservative in that she will consider several options.I am so pleased with her, my entire family now goes to that office. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend her to any one of my family, friends, even my enemies.Consider yourself luck if she is able to accept you as a patient.
I have been in the office twice now. I was forced to go to this office because my previous doctors group stopped accepting my insurance mid term and I couldnt switch to an insurance provider they accepted (Medicare). I have been dealing with Chronic pain and fibromyalgia for over a decade, and have a protocol that works. Instead of listening to me the first PA was hung up on my wanting a controlled pain med refill and forgetting that I was trying to be seen for a follow up to a car accident. The second visit with a doctor...I was made out to be a drug addict and demanded I take antidepressants/anti anxiety meds for my pain, of which I have tried several previously and didnt want to take. I want to treat the pain as needed not have to take a daily medication, but that didnt make sense to her and I was a drug addict. I clearly am not or I wouldnt have had a months rx last 10 weeks instead of 4. The pain meds she offered isnt covered by my insurance and the one I was asking for a refill was already pre authorized by my insurance provider (my regular rx didn’t even use the maximum allotted by my insurance provider), had she looked at my records from my previous doctor, she wouldve seen that. This is a corporate doc in a box, not real care. This was the Rayford office.
Real bad communication with patients
I did read a lot negativity about this place. I cant speak for those experiences, but my was great. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and took the time to answer all my questions. I will be back again.
Went to this office because my insurance told me they accept it here. I talked to someone that told me they take walk ins before 11:15am. After that time, there would be a wait to be seen. Ok... no problem.... i know thats how most offices work. I get there before 11am and was told the doctor wasnt seeing no more walk ins and to come back after 1pm when hes done with his lunch hour! First off..... dont waste no ones time by telling them one thing over the phone and when theyve wasted time and gas to get there, be told something different! I had a sick 1yr old baby in my arms and the doctor was more concerned to not be interrupted while stuffing his face for lunch. Been in the health care field for 7 years and i KNOW that good doctors would make exceptions.... ESPECIALLY for a baby!! Ill definitely find the time to look for a better office. Yalls first impression was TERRIBLE to say the least. If i could give NO STARS i would.....
TThey were friendly, the APN. she seen was nice, also, were supposed to refer my wife to a cardiologist ... its been a week and no word from anyone, I will call them back.Made the appointment for a yearly check up and to get her prescriptions refilled was told that they dontdo that ...(what) one or the other is what the front desk said ... she is still having problems and we have insurance ...I will have to call BC/BS to get advice ...My wife added Dr. Caston and the nurses are really nice ... really wanted to give them 5 stars ...I hate that it feels like your being treated like this ...
Dr. Ho is always attentive and kind. I have transferred my whole family to her. She takes care of referring you when necessary, and always listens to what you tell her is wrong. Love her!
Dr Hamme listen to my problems and has worked to help me find out what is going on. Staff was friendly and clinic clean. I would recommend anytime .
I took my daughter today, the doctor my daughter saw was horrible. Apparently urine comes back in 3 seconds because my daughter just made it back to the room and the doctor said its clear of bacteria. She insisted it was just a virus it will run its course. Didnt bother to wait for the lab to come back from the Er. I gave her motrin before we went to the doctor. The doctor said she doesnt have a fever so it must be a virus. Its the 6th day of her temperature reaching 103.0 they did nothing to help her
I have been bringing my daughter to this location since she was an infant. I have never had any issues or bad experiences. They listen to all my concerns and answer any question I have. I will continue to take my daughter here.
Front office person gave me a generic answer with a huge range of possibilities to my VERY specific question. The offering to ask for help part from another person was discouraged. This place sucks
I had a poor experience there, with the office staff and a particular doctor. Maybe youll have a better time than I did.
Always hard to get an appointment. Doctors are changed on you rapidly. Front office not very helpful. No follow through.
I had the worst experience with this office! I just recently had a test done at this office and I ended up needing a referral from them so that I could go see a surgeon and they said I had to come back into their office to get the same test done that I had recently gotten from them. My insurance said they will not pay for the same test twice and that they shouldnt be asking for me to come in for another test, that they should use the results from the first test! So the very rude doctors and nurses at this clinic refused to give me a referral unless I come in and get the same test, because they just want to make sure that the surgery is necessary. I had a radiologist from a hospital confirm that the surgery needed to get done as soon as possible. Yet they refuse to give me a referral, and when I told them what my insurance had said about not paying for the same test twice they responded with Im sorry. By far the rudest doctors and nurses I have ever dealt with.
Very nonchalant attitudes...I called and asked about walkins. They told me at 8am and 1 pm so I arrive at 12:50 noon and there is absolutely not one dam patient in the waiting area or in the back, and the receptionist still said im not guaranteed a spot to be seen and that I just have to sit and wait BUT AT THE SAME TIME NO PATIENTS ARE THERE AT ALL. I CAN HEAR THE STAFF IN THE BACK PLAYING AND GOOFING OFF. MEANWHILE IM ONLY HERE FOR A SPORTS PHYSICAL FOR MY 12 YEAR OLD. SHOULDNT THEY BE SEEING WALKINS AT THE TIME WHEN NO APPOINTMENT PATIENTS ARE THERE??? IM SO FREAKN PISSED IM SWITCHING HER PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR..IM SICK OF THEM!
Have been having some serious side effects due to a prescription and have called two days in a row to speak the docter. Receptionist claims shes not available and will call after hours when she has down time and never calls. First time claimed my number was disconnected which its not and even read back my correct number to meLooks like they forgot..day number two!! Very pissed off
Very helpful and friendly staff. They were very patient with my children.
WORST OFFICE EVER!!!!! Very neglectful, unapologetic and downright ignorant. They forgot my son and I in a room for 2 hours and then after everyone left for lunch and the doctor was about to leave we pop out of the room and BOOM oh my goodness, no we didnt forget you Im sorry I was busy.. ya right! another incident. my daughter had to go to a specialist for hearing and tells me my kid has double the size tonsils and they should have been noticed by physician for 2 months prior when we went to numerous appointments. WORST OFFICE EVER!!!!
Love the staff,nurses, drs.
Dr Ana tresvalles has poor communication skills and does not like to take blame for her actions. Clearly not educated enough to be working in family practice.
Excellent staff & care. Been coming here over a year.
SO slow! If you have an appt at 2, you wont be seen til 3 like me! The staff is rude as hell and has no respect for peoples time. Please hire new staff at this location!!
I only went here once saw a black man doctor he was unprofessional and did not seem interested in my health worse experience ever I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will never return
Not a very good office for a Well Womans exam.
General practice with pediatrician
The clinic wants to help everyone when an employee misunderstands. Today I want to thank the clinic especially to cindy for her professional help.
Perfect experience, I take my son there and I have not had any problems at all, my son always comes out healthy from there so I plan to put my daughters review there too también
Very bad experience, we took my son to an assessment of a break and to take RX and made us wait for more than an hour and then they told us they could not do anything for us that we better go to Texas Children Hospital. It was not supposed to go by the Insurer, ah, but yes, they charged us $ 100 to check it and in the end they only told us that they could not do anything for my son, I would not have paid but my husband told me to leave them, what we wanted was to leave that place, how painful all this
