After years of dating and NOT ever getting off the ground cause my partner wanted to play kind games HE insisted we see a counselor. So I let him choose after only 3 sessions the dr gave his understanding from the pages of notes he wrote and the guy said he had it all wrong “narcissist to the max” he suggested we go our separate ways! He tells the TRUTH, he is very professional and without him I would have wasted years of blessings! Thanks for your advise
Excellent doctor. He knows how to engage in conversation and ask the right questions without making it seem like an interrogation. Very easy going conversation.
I keep reading reviews about how abrasive Dr. Kozak is or how much he doesnt listen. I know why these people are saying these things. Dr. Kozak will not allow you to throw self-deprecating pity parties in his office. He listens thoroughly to gain an understanding of the issue. At that point, he begins sharing his professional knowledge and experience on various ways you can proceed to make positive adjustments in your life. I went to see him to balance the stress of a successful career while trying to maintain quality time with the family. He has helped me tremendously. Moreover, many of his suggestions rely on your own ability to take responsibility for your actions, your success, and your happiness. I know that no one therapist fits all psychological or emotional issues. But there is no way Dr. Kozak deserves 1 star. I wonder how many therapists these 1 star givers burn through until they find someone willing to take their money and let them gab about their problems over, and over, and over; all the while not making any real progress to fix those issues. You want resolution and think a psychologist can help? Then go see Dr. Kozak. Trust in his education and professional experience. Dont expect resolution in 1 or 2 sessions. It doesnt work that way. Its a process. Stick with it, trust him, and you will be 10 times better off than when you first started. Thats what happened to me.
So far so good. Working with Dr Kozak for ADHD support and he is very good at getting into the deeper issues. He doesnt filter his communication, which is exactly what we need when trying to get through our issues. We rarely see our own fault, and he has no problem telling us where we share blame. If you cant see whats wrong you cant fix it. So far he has helped a good deal in only a few sessions.
This guy is an imbicile. Has a huge ego--will not allow himself to be fired because of it so progress gets further and further delayed. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS! Take a few Psychology classes yourself and youll know alot more than he does with his PhD. Seriously, bad news.
He took a call during the session. This is completely confused me.
