My laptop had an issue or two. I went to the Geek Squad located within Best Buy Spring, Texas for an assessment and assisted by a young lady named Kim.In the final analysis, Kim went over and beyond in assisting me with my laptop issue(s).Kim was professional, knowledgeable, pleasant and flat super. Kim is a wonderful attribute to Best Buy and the Geek Squad.I was already a fan of Best Buy and the Geek Squad, now more so.

Got have geek squad as a person that refuses to have a phone on contract. I would rather pay out right for my tech and just insure it thru geek squad. They have never let me down.

I scheduled and paid for an appointment with this company for 7/19/21 between 12 to 8. I started calling at 7:30 when no one had shown up to see if it was really going to happen to hook up my surround sound. I waited on hold for 46 minutes to be transferred 3 times, then to be put on hold again. It’s now 8:25pm and I’m on hold next in line REALLY!. Talk about poor customer service. I’ll go anywhere but here to get my things fixed. Poor Poor customer service!!!! None existent. I just wish they’d close their store if this is what we get! Then I was connected to someone at 8:31, she said she would connect me to dispatch only to be put on hold again and to be told by automated that they were closed and we should call back during business hours. Unacceptable. I could only hope that management could read this review but I know this will go unnoticed and unanswered. PLEASE BEWARE!!!

I went in for a battery problem in my laptop. First dude sent me to a battery store, and they told me they dont deal with those. I come back and have him take the battery out so I can see the model, then asked if the guy could check for if it was available at another store nearby, a service they have provided in the past through best buy, he refused. I get his manager, whom proceeded to yell at me. Finally when I inform him I would like to cancel my subscription to their service over this incident he said he couldnt even do that. I would highly recommend going elsewhere for repairs.

Their warranty is great, I just didn’t like that some of their repairs are outsourced, especially with the large appliances. Otherwise, they’re pretty much a 5 star service.

They never answer the phone no matter how many times you call them. You personally have to go up there to get any info or help.

Maegan Bankhead, is truly unprofessional and should work somewhere else than in customer service. I had an appointment today at 10:10 am and I showed up at 10:19 and they were long gone. Not to mention that the driver was extremely rude, when he gave me a call in the morning. Besides that, Megan cant control herself and became extremely angry and rude during the call. She hung up the call, because she had no arguments and did not want to apologize for the terrible service she was providing and also she does not have control of her drivers. I had to drive 45 minutes to come all the way up here and still the driver is not willing to come back today. I’m rating this a one star because my computer was dropped off on Friday due to a minor issue and was supposed to be picked up Tuesday. I called Tuesday saying I would not be able to come until Wednesday morning. Once they answered they said it would be okay to pick it up Wednesday. Today is Wednesday and now my computer is still messed up, & they failed to tell me that YESTERDAY when i called. Now I’m having to completely reset the computer and do the job myself because they failed to mention it was still broken . Being A college student this is very inconvenient for me and this “squad” needs to work on communicating better with customers.

Devin is an amazing installer. I have never met such a polite person he really knows what hes doing. Would recommend this place for installs to anyone, he did an amazing job with everything. Really helpful doing audio install is difficult and this guy makes it look easy

I took my tower in making noise. I had no wait and the agent diagnosed the problem in less than 5 minutes, gave me a price and said it would be completed within and hour. It was but I did not pick it up right away. When I picked it up, the price was as quoted and the unit was demonstrated so I would know it was working properly. Weve had it 2 or 3 days and it is running quietly.

Writing this as I have no other options left, and there is no line in any rule book that says I cant. I came into the store with a problem with my motherboard, I knew it was a motherboard problem, I was looking for something more specific. I told the guy behind the counter, he took the thing away, and promptly began a diagnostic. Okay, fine, but he then went and told me that it was going to be a $100 fee. Again, I figured that as long as this fixes or assists in fixing my issue, I will take it. While my card was being charged, another associate came from the back and explained, There is a problem with your motherboard.. Great. I asked if a refund was in order as this service did not provide me with anything I already didnt know, and was denied. I later called customer service only to be denied once more, because, The service was already conducted.. Well, thats real fair, huh? Start working before I see the price, that way I cant say it wasnt done. Sneaky. Call me a fool for not asking about the pricing beforehand, Im still kicking myself for even entering the building at this point. What really upsets me is the fact that I didnt build this computer for myself, its for my friend. Not to mention, I work overnight, so for me to come into the store at an hour like this is pretty dang inconvenient for me; I suppose in that regard, the service was great as I was in and out in 5 minutes (with 100 less dollars, so...you know...) So now I am waiting indefinitely for the warranty on the motherboard to go through, and after sinking more money than I care to admit on this thing, the last thing I need is a $100 clue from Captain Hindsight. Highly dissatisfied.

Very professional. Very polite. You dont really notice how dirty your laptop is until someone else has to use it. My lappy was dusty, finger prints all over the touch screen, BBQ on some of the keys, weird screen saver going on, and none of that stopped them. They jumped right in and got it done. But learn from me and try to clean your device up a little bit before bringing it in.Would highly recommend and will use again if I need to.

Buy all my computer products threw them i highly recommend the geek squad support membership!!!Ira and Jacob are the shiznits they explain things to you so you can understand...im in the over 50 club so i didnt grow up with this technology they explained it so i would get without feeling like a moron ...keep up the good work boys!!!!!!
