So we just moved into our house less than a year ago, and when we moved in we noticed a huge puddle in the street every time our sprinklers ran, the old owners said it was just a puddle that formed and nothing was wrong. Well, Aleika (I’m sure I absolutely butchered the spelling on his name) and Tim found the issue very fast and were able to fix it no problem. They showed me the damage, told me what the issue was and what it was doing. Then they recommended the fix and made sure everything was working perfectly before they left. All while being very professional and courteous the entire time. Hats off to those two and I’m very pleased with my service!
Made an appointment and requested the technician please call on day of service, specially so I could explain the issues. Given a timeframe of 1-5pm, which required my girlfriend to take time off work as I was out of town. Girlfriend calls them several times on day of service, no answer. She waited during the given time and nobody showed up. I called the next day and they advised the technician must have come early. No call to anyone advising that they didn’t need someone to be there. Only fixed one problem because of the fact that they didn’t call to get a full description. Made another appointment and they did come on time. The work they do is good but communication is absolutely terrible.
They mow my neighbors lawn at 7AM, but usually park their big truck in front of my house and start up all their equipment there, typically making it too loud to continue my early morning zoom meetings until they finally make their way over to my neighbors. I understand that lawnmowers are easier to push when theyre turned on, but someone who pushes them around all day for a living should be able to push them up the block on or off. These guys are just weak or something. Definitely inconsiderate.response to response: yes I am aware and I have also worked in landscaping and greenhouses in much hotter temps than what weve been having this week. My complaint was not about them starting work at 7, it was about them starting up all of their equipment directly outside my window instead of hauling it to the jobsite and starting it up there. I can function just fine with the lawn being mowed next door while Im in a meeting, but not with lawn mowers and leaf blowers running directly outside my home. Please read more carefully before responding in the future, it doesnt reflect well on the office side of your business.
I had three services done by C&C before I canceled everything. Numerous times, during my quote and all phone calls, I asked them about only coming to do services on Monday or Tuesday as I’m home both of those days. Never did they respect my request for either of those days. They never once provided a courtesy call to let me know when they were on their way to provide any service. I did receive a call a day or two prior to them showing up but they did not respect whether I said yes or no.First they came to apply weed killer and fertilizer to the lawn. They left the weed killer particles all over my patio and walkways. I have a dog so I feel like that was super unsafe for them to just leave piles of it everywhere.Then they came to do some stump grinding. They called the day before to say that they would be coming tomorrow… I called and left a message saying that I wouldnt to be home so I don’t want them to come. They came anyway. No courtesy call prior to arriving ever. They had no care about my sprinklers, which were marked, and they covered it with rocks and ruined the pvc safety around the sprinkler.The final thing was pruning and shaping of my trees and shrubs. This was the worst! They butchered one of my privacy trees in my front yard. Cut one side up 4 to 5 feet and left the other side touching the shrubs. The shrubs have no shape and look awful. The hedges in the back are uneven. They barely did any pruning of the trees whatsoever. There are still dead branches everywhere. The trees are also resting on the hedges.I did call and state that I was very unhappy for each service. The third and final call is when I asked for all of my future services to be canceled as I am unhappy with the service they have provided. The manager called back and said that they’ll cancel everything pending due to me being unhappy. No attempt was ever made to correct the issues. Never once did they send someone out to even check my sprinklers that they ruined on the stump grinding. When I called and said I was unhappy about the tree pruning and shrubs not once did they offer to come fix anything.
Sloppy work, property damage, never return phone calls, inaccurate billing, send late notices for invoices already paid, I would never recommend this company!!!
I got my backyard landscaped back in 2016 by C&C. At the time, it seemed they did a good job. They were out to give me an estimate, quoted me a reasonable price, and set about fairly soon thereafter to get started. I live in an area with a lot of basalt, and because of finances at that time, I was unable to bring in topsoil (not their fault, I do believe they listed it as an option). But now, thanks to quarantine, Ive been rearranging the previously made plant beds, and removing some of the grass to plant more trees/shrubs. Thats how Ive uncovered some of the shoddy work done. There are gigantic rocks directly underneath the grass (again, no topsoil is my fault, but really? Cant remove a giant rock??). A few of the sprinkler lines are barely buried too -- this was actually an issue at the time that they rectified as I promptly mowed two of the new sprinklers because they werent buried enough. I didnt even think that those lines were probably not buried enough either. Just a cautionary tale, Id not recommend this company based on what Im finding in my backyard.
The company I work for uses C&C for lawn care and snow removal. They are the worst company that I have ever used in my 6 years of managing apartments and in my maintenance guys 20 years of experience. Nothing is done fully, they leave huge projects for us to finish, and it seems they care very little about the work they do. If it was up to us, we would hire a different company immediately.

They came out in a timely manner to give me an estimate. I paid the deposit and they were supposed to call me to schedule. I had to call 2-3 times to get them scheduled. Didn’t show up on 10/8 as scheduled. When I called I was told the date was 10/15. So, they changed the date without talking with me. 10/15 comes and goes and they never showed. I called and got my deposit refunded. I don’t know if it was too small of a job, but the service after they got my money was terrible. Everyone I talked to in the billing department was very nice.
I needed two sprinkler valves replaced. I tried to fix it myself but failed. It was very easy to book an appointment with C & C. There was a wait because they get booked up in the summer of two weeks. Jeremiah called me to let me know he was running early and took care of the problem in less than one hour. He made sure it was working right and even fixed a clogged head on the line that hadn’t been working. He also gave me some tips for future repairs. I am very happy I went with this company. The work exceeded my expectations and was faster than if I had kept trying to fix it. I will call them again when I need more sprinkler work done.Update- just got my bill. It was cheaper than I planned too. Still happy with the service.

I have done business with C&C Yard Care for many years, setting up the schedule for my home requirements in advance before the summer season begins and have always been satisfied with their work. Their employees are the best, always very professional and polite. In addition, I have had them do landscaping, brick work (driveway and patio by back deck), spraying, aerating, sprinkler, and various other work without any complaints. I would recommend them without qualification to anyone desiring their home to be the best looking one in the neighborhood.
Had a sprinkler blow out scheduled for a 1 - 5 PM window. Took half a day off work and nobody showed up. Called the next day and they said it was noted on the account blowout already done. Blowout hadnt been done nor had anybody showed up to the house during the time window indicated. When talking to customer service they said they would just put me back in the rotation for a week later and I would have to take another half a day off work. Will never use them again.
Ive used C & C for several years and have never been disappointed with their services. They call the day before they come informing what service they plan to do. I appreciate this so I can keep my cat in the house. Everyone that has come to the house has been courteous, professional and do the work quickly. Within the first couple of months of a new year, they send me information of services indicating which ones I had the year before and the prices so I can schedule for the current year. I dont have to remember anything. Ive talked with those in the office to ask questions and Ive always gotten an answer from them or someone calls me.Thank you C & C for your excellent care.
This company is top notch! The crews are always respectful of my animals and my time. They call before they come every time. The gals in the office can always answer my questions either by finding out the answer in a timely manner from the crew, managers or their own knowledge of the companies services. The managers are all very respectful and professional. The owner will bend over backwards to help if there is a misunderstanding. He trusts what his managers are doing and thats a rarity nowadays. All of his managers have been at the company 10+ years and are very knowledgeable about their trade.Most of the complaints from what I can see are from people that are late on payments. What a concept yard care is a luxury!! If you dont have the money dont hire them!!!
I have used C & C Yard Care for over 5 years and they are the best in town!! They are always on time and do a terrific job on my entire yard. I belong to the Spokane Rose Society and the National Rose Society and I am very picky. I had them install my sprinkler system and my drip system. Aaron and his Team do a fantastic job - I highly recommend them!
I called C & C Yard Care on 10/8/18 to get a quote for year-round landscape maintenance, including snow removal. The receptionist said they were accepting new customers, but that it would be 3 business days before someone could even call me back. Six business days later, a C & C guy finally called and left a voicemail with a phone # to call him back. I was out of town, but returned his call 2 days later. I got his voicemail and left a message. Now its another 6 days later and he still hasnt returned my call. So its now been 18 days since I originally called them. In the meantime, another company I called on the same day I initially contacted C & C (10/8) has been to my home, walked out the property, ascertained my needs, given me a bid and got me as a new customer. My account will generate approx $12,000/yr in revenue. I guess that wasnt important enough for C & C to return phone calls. I have an ethical objection to having to chase a business to give them my money.
C & C has been great not only for our business when is comes to mowing, sprinklers, plowing and landscape projects. They call ahead to notify us that they will be coming to provide services. Anytime we need something done in short notice we call the office they will get what I need taken care of immediately. I have referred them to other people I know and I also have them do the yard care at my own personal home. They are nothing but professional and nice. They work very hard in the 100 degree weather and when it is below 0. I highly recommend C & C for any lawn care service needs or snow removal too!!!
MENACE TO PUBLIC SAFETY.The drivers who work for this company are outrageous. Monday, May 6, 2019 One of their trucks was westbound on Wellesley in the morning. The C and C driver tried to shove into traffic, instead of legally yielding, at the roundabout at Wellesley and Freya.This afternoon, Friday, May 10, 2019 at 3 o’clock, a driver did shove into traffic that was already in the roundabout and had right of way. The driver in front of whom the C and C truck cut, had to slam on the brakes, honk their horn, and swerve out of the lane of travel to avoid an accident. The C and C driver’s response was to flip them off. C and C then turned east at the light at Francis, traveling east on Francis.If this is how drivers operate vehicles, with a business name plastered on the side, there is no way I would let them near my property, my home, or my children. Their blatant disregard for public welfare, bullying attitude, and use of rude gestures are appalling.
Garbage company, not in the sense that they pick up garbage either. They charged me without my consent in 2016 to come and blow out my sprinklers even though the year prior they had come to my property and told me that it wasnt possible to blow them out due to the way my system was set up. When I tried to contact them then either would not answer the phone or say they would have the manager call me back, guess what, that never happened. Now its 2017 and the bill they sent me is going to collections and I still cant get ahold of anyone but the secretary. AVOID THIS COMPANY at all costs unless you want them to charge you for things they didnt do in the first place.
Updating my review from 1 star to 3 stars. Since writing the review below, I have been given more attention as a client and they have checked in with me to make sure I was content with the services provided.Had nothing but a headache with this company and need to stop my service with them, but they are one of the few companies that will come out only twice a month instead of weekly, and are on the more affordable side. They always move hoses and sprinklers and never put them back. They really do the bare minimum. I asked for a quote for some additional work, they said they would have it to me by the end of the day... two weeks later I call in because it was never received and they had no idea what I was talking about. The ladies you talk to are nice enough but under qualified and never seem to have answer. Still waiting on a quote. Will not be using them for my two properties again.

C & C came in with the lowest quote for our sprinkler system, sod, and concrete edging we wanted done in our yard. They also came recommended by our builder, so we were hopeful the relationship was going to be effortless.However, this was not the case. We felt like communication was lacking throughout the entire process. They have different internal departments that dont seem to communicate with each other. At first, the sprinkler went in and seemed fine. A week or 2 later the sod team came out and were annoyed that their office didnt inform them we had a fence. The sod & grading was supposed to take 3 days, they scheduled our neighbors yard at the same time and did ours in about 1 day so we felt like the entire process was rushed. We werent informed that they programmed the sprinkler system for sod and had to call and ask. When we turned the sprinklers on we realized that the sod team didnt cut around over half of the sprinkler heads so the yard wasnt getting water. When we called and expressed this we were initially told that the crew completed that when they clearly did not. The sprinkler crew came back out to fix the issue and were frustrated with the communication from their office because they told us the sod crew really should be the ones finishing their job. There were 2 sprinkler heads that were broken that had to be fixed. The concrete edging was next, their contractor didnt finish everything he was supposed to so we had to call about that, we did receive a prorated refund after 2 phone calls. There were a couple times that people just showed up and rang our doorbell at 7 AM and didnt call first to let us know they were coming out and needed in the garage for the sprinkler program.Overall just very unimpressed with the communication and the various crews seemed unable to complete a job start to finish. However, the yard does look good.

Starting with scheduling what needs to be done, prompt, professional service technicians (and Im really picky about my gardens), as well as competitive pricing! Have had these guys plow, mow, do sprinkler blowouts and more over the years. Always call ahead to let us know when they are coming and do great work. Hard to find in this day and age. Very happy.
The work I originally hired them to do was not done as they quoted but rather than have them dig into the finished product to do the preliminary work (moving sprinkler piping) I decided to make do with was was done at a reduced cost. This fall I had them back to blow out my sprinklers. I was to be billed for it. Today I received an invoice from C&C with a big red PAST DUE stamped on it that was partially visible through the envelope. I do not recall receiving any other bill for this service. Im 60 years old and have paid my way 100% in life so I DONT NEED YOUR RUBBER STAMP mentality. If there is a problem you have my phone number... use it.
C and C has very poor invoicing software and bookeeping procedures. You may not get an invoice until months after work is done. After invoice is paid, invoices likely will still continue on a monthly basis. Multiple phone calls to C and C regarding billing questions, and that it was already paid, may NOT stop monthly invoices from arriving in the mail. This was my experience. Unmannerly receptionist and disorganized company. Horrible nuisance, and a company I do not recommend to anyone.Quite an elaborate and defensive C & C response (see below) to a PAID $54.34 bill. Not a company that will get my money again.

Very unhappy with the service I received. Unfortunately, I paid in full even though the work would not be completed until the spring. I trusted them. They ruined my sod, uneven planting, and broken sprinkler lines. Countless calls and promises of fixing the $13,000 of work have been fruitless. I suggest spending more with a company that cares more for its customers.I have pictures if you’d like to see.I want to add that not only was the service provided unsatisfactory. A year later the wall is stained with white. So, if you use C&C, you must also purchase a power washer

Exceptionally horrible service.Snow plow opperator tried purposely blocking in my car, when confronted said his boss told him to put a big A$$ pile behind it. Proceeded to drive like a maniac, swerving all over screaming F#@K YOU! Almost hit not only my vehicle but at least 3 other visitors I had over as they entered the lot.Came outside this morning to find a huge berm of snow plowed into the front of my car, not only blocking me in and rendering my driveway useless, but damaging the front end of my new vehicle.Not only that but he plowed into my friends vehicle as well whom was parked in a different section of the lot damaging his rear bumper as well.On top of all that, the lot hardly even looks plowed even though he was in a newer plow truck with a huge expensive looking blade on it that definitely couldve done a WAY better job had it been in the hands of someone who knew what they were doing. I feel bad for property management who just wasted a ton of money on this service.Dont hire them if you value things done properly, or respectfully. 👎👎
They held true to their bid. They did good work. The first crew however did not have clear instructions on topping a large cherry and removal of a mugo. When we called they sent a crew back out the following week in blowing snow and freezing conditions and they completed the work and double checked to make sure that we were happy. They really responded to feedback. The crew was not shy about the weather conditions.They were amazing. We will be using them again.
Im pretty upset. They told me they would be there for the first treatment in two weeks and it took them almost 4 weeks and I told them my biggest concern was the clovers and they assured me they would take care of them. After the first treatment it killed off the dandelions and nothing else. The second treatment was supposed to happen 6 weeks later and its been 9 weeks. I called last week and they said they would be here Tuesday. Its now Thursday and they still havent been here and no one bothered to communicate with me at all this entire time. I have canceled my second treatment and would not recommend this service to anyone and will not be using this service again.
C & C Yard Care, Inc. is one of the most poorly run businesses I have ever interacted with. I called them on behalf of my rooommate who had an account with them for the property and I request one mow and one weed service. Somehow they made a separate account under my name for the same property and charged me for all these services I did not ask for.Every time I called to clarify I got confusion and bullshit. Now reading another one star review and the business response, I am as mad as ever! You dont respond to a negative review from a customer with it was the customers fault! Childish, irresponsible, and unprofessional. You are a business! This business needs some customer service skills. Im disgusted and will seek out giving my money to a business deserving of it.
I am very pleased with the work that was done removing existing sod and installing new. My lawn has not looked this good in the 27 years I have lived in my house. Kudos
C&C had been doing work for my mother as well as myself for yrs mowing and edging, tree trimming etc spent thousands of dollars on this and had a great experiance with all but one person...Aaron in the lawn maintenance department, he was horrible to work with and in the later yrs i had to actually call and relay messages thru the mowers or reception staff in order to get services provided, he wouldnt call back no matter how often or how many times i would leave msgs, the guys doing the work informed me that he didnt like me and that i should just call them if i needed work done and they would relay it to him. All the other workers were wonderful especially Josh, who would estimate the cost of tree services we needed as well as the mowers & reception and accounting departments. I no long employ ur services do to my experiance with Aaron Stapleton in the mowing department and have no hesitation expressing this to people that ask me about my experiance, its sad that u r loosing business due to one bad egg. I have since run into three people that have had the same experiance with Aaron and also no longer employ ur services. I now know it wasnt just me he didnt like.
About a month ago we hired C&C to come out and do some yard work; mowing and leaf removal. They sent two guys to mow, trim and blow leaves; a couple hours worth of work at most. When they arrived, we were told they were just the breaking crew and another crew would have to come back out to finish what they couldnt do, since they had no tools with them except rakes. This didnt make me real happy since I was being charged $40/hour for each guy. As it turned out, only one guy was there to work, the other was there to hold up the rake and play on his phone. After watching this painfully and seeing my money go down the toilet every minute that went by, I decided to ask the guy who wasnt working what he was supposed to be here for. He was very disrespectful and argued with me while standing in my own garage. At that point, I called the owner, Chris, and after making excuses for his staff, was told that another crew would have to come out with the needed equipment to do the work on my yard. Why didnt these guys have the tools in the first place? Who sends a landscaping crew to mow, trim and blow leaves and only be equipped with a rake? Really? Did I mention they were charging $40/hour per guy?? So this second crew shows up, does the work and leaves within 45 minutes which is more than the other two did in two hours. Its all fine and dandy until my invoice shows up a month later. Not only was I charged for the first two yahoos for doing pretty much nothing, I was then charged for the second crew for a total of 4 hours. WTF. 4 hours for what? So I called Chris again as I assumed this was a mistake but was shocked to find out this in fact was the correct charges and he was offended that I would even question it. After going back and forth for 15 minutes and dealing with Chris being rude, he agreed to only charge for 3 hours which was ridiculous. Of course I paid it because I did not want my bill sent to collection. Long story short, Chris was unreasonable and thought he was doing me a favor by not charging me the full 4 hours. I would never use this company again. Unless you like to watch your money be Raked out of your wallet.
Have had these folks do weed spraying, fix broken sprinklers, and pest control. Always call ahead before coming and do a fantastic job. Will continue to use them. Highly recommend for any yard care, pest control, and sprinkler/yard maintenance.
Our neighbor and friend had a large tree in the back yard that was splitting down the trunk to the ground. Very dangerous and guaranteed to take down our joint fence - and more. I recommended that they call C&C who came out almost immediately and cut it to the ground, then took out the stump. Talk about service! Needless to say, I highly recommend C&C for their hands on get it done service to Spokane. They took out 7 trees for me last year and did it right!
No nonsense service
Hired them and was excited to not have to do much in the way of mowing. I work a hectic schedule and didnt need that headache on top of it. The first day I was scheduled for a mow, they skipped me; claiming my yard was short enough. Clearly they didnt look in the back because the grass was about a foot tall. They didnt bother edging or anything instead, they just took off. The second scheduled day, they mowed buuuuut forgot to mow the entire back yard, leaving half of it crazy and wild. I called them- they came back with their manager- voila. They apologized and the mower guy claimed to have just been mowing with his head down and didnt notice our tiers. I mentioned to him the tiers were in a note on my file. Another apology. I thought, problem fixed! Nope. Third day schedule they neglected to mow the whole thing again. Fed up and frustrated with having to babysit them and have them come back and finish the job, I fired them. Even with how unhappy I was with their service- how lazy theyre mowing guys seem to be... they still sent me a bill for their hard work with a whole 15$ deducted. Wow- thanks so much. Dont bother with these jack wagons. They dont care about your yard, just your money. I also love seeing the owner argue against every single bad review and in some, even putting the CUSTOMER down. Great service guys.
Not impressed with customer service. The tree cutter was nice but over worked. He worked very hard ! He had very little help. On the last day, he just left my house and didnt even tell me he was done. I got no invoice or receipt. I signed nothing and paid for nothing. I had to call them back the following week to ask for an invoice. Customer Service is lacking.
So I was using C&C for a few years until their prices became outrageous! I cancelled their services last fall after they blew out my sprinklers. I had paid the over priced rates for 15 minutes of work they did at my house. Then come spring they show up at my house to turn on the sprinklers after I cancelled in the fall. I told them I would not pay the bill after I had cancelled, and that this was the second time that I called them. NOW, again they came to my house today to winterize my sprinklers. I had to call them a THIRD time to cancel and I will still refuse to pay this bill. What part of CANCEL does this company not understand. I dont get your flyers and I am too damn busy to reply to a text message confirming my appt the NIGHT before> i would not recommend C&c EVER. Overpriced and clearly has no regard for current, past, and future customers since they cant seem to listen.

Ive had the best and worst service with this company. Ive used them for years at another property with good results but recently i had them come out to service my sprinklers for adjustments. The tech that showed up was nice but seemed like he was in a huge hurry. I have several different types of heads and he said he didnt know how to adjust the rainbird sprinkler heads in my back yard. He was able to adjust the front heads and some for my landscape but that was all. I was charged for the whole service.For landscape service I left several voicemails to try to schedule an appointment. I received one call back which i returned immediately and got his voicemail again. I was never able to get anything scheduled. I wont be using their service in the future.
Their workers blocked the entrance to the apartment complex, and then an hour later had my garage blocked. ANOTHER hour after that, they blocked it again. Ridiculous and not how you should run a business. I hope my complex doesnt use them again. As I type this, my car is still stuck in my garage.
Im hesitant to even give this company a 1 star. I hired this company do to a landscape job in my backyard 7 or 8 years ago. They were to remove sod along two fences, move some sprinkler heads, make a large shade garden and cover the removed sod areas with landscape cloth and rock the areas. I was also having them contract the concrete edging in the back yard.I had to remind them 2Xs one head was buried under the rock and cloth, they finally moved it. The concrete contactor was given no direction, the wrong edging profile was placed and wasnt as I had requested it. I couldnt get in touch with the project manager ever... it would take several days and nasty calls on my part to get a response. One day I came home to find my back yard and the neighbors flooded because they had a broken pipe and the sprinkler came on, no one was on site. I called and asked them to get out there immediately but instead they told me how to open the valve box and do it myself. One morning I couldnt get my kitchen door open because they had the sprinkler near my back door pointed at the kitchen door, it came on during the night and ruined my back door as well as lifted the linoleum in the kitchen (this is why I couldnt open the door). I also found another head was aimed directly at my rabbit pen. My rabbit luckily had an enclosed bed so wasnt too wet. At this point I told them they were no longer welcome on my property unattended. The owner came out but all he did was make excuses for his crew. They tried to make amendsr and put down fertilizer in the front yard which wasnt requested. I dont know if it was the fertilizer or grass killer on the wheels but there were burn marks everywhere they had been. I paid them for the job, handed them the handful of metal they left in the yard and hired another contractor to come in and fix the sprinkler system. They had dirt in the lines from the broken pipe so several heads wouldnt spray. The other contactor told me they used sub standard parts in the box. I would never recommend this company and try to warn everyone I come across. I also filed a report with the BBB.
I hate c c lawn care they have some of the most rude people ever. Zero customer service. As a result of the wind storm a small tree broke and i asked if they could take the cut up tree branches and just toss them in the tree shredder a long haired male with a black beanie just said no and ignored me. They arived on the scene to remove a tree but they wouldnt take a few branches. 12/5/15.
