Going into this office, I had high expectations because of the poor quality of care I’ve experienced in the past. However, upon arriving here not only was it a warm and open armed atmosphere but the counselors here truly are just as warm and welcoming. I now am in a safe spot to start healing. I am thankful I stumbled across their path. If you’re looking for a warm and loving place with the security that you didn’t have previously then please attend here. Outstanding Practice! I have had both Barbara Folden and Dr. Ray Smith, each of who provided excellent service. The best counselors I’ve ever had! Very friendly and skilled in their profession. Brooke at the front desk is always cheerful and helpful too! Highly recommend this place!

DR. Ray helped me through a very difficult time in my life with work, family and life decisions. His years of expertise and genuine care during our sessions were very meaningful. I would higher recommend him and this practice for any counseling or coaching needs.

I had a bad experience trying to schedule an appointment with a counselor. I was told the counselor had availability on Friday, so I sent in my paperwork on Wednesday and didnt hear back for six days (definitely not by Friday). The person that was supposed to schedule an appointment with the counsellor told me that she was WAY TOO BUSY to clarify the referral information sent by my EAP. She was snappy, she was rude, and she hung up on me when I said that if she doesnt want to help me then I could go somewhere else. I would highly recommend you hire additional people so your staff isnt so overwhelmed that they resort to snapping at your clients or find someone else with a little more compassion. Im seeking counseling because Im having some very intense family issues and being treated like that before I even have my first appointment is incredibly demoralizing.

We are pleased with the effort the staff at HCC makes in helping our family. Vanessa is willing to meet with us late evenings and close to the Holidays. She’s both professional and personable, going above and beyond to help and understand the client’s situation. She returns texts and phone calls in a timely manner. Vanessa is extremely dedicated to both her profession and the client.

The resectionist, was the nicest person I’ve ever met over the phone and she was very devoted to do her job and get it done right, she asked many times if I needed help or if I had questions

The person that signed me up was every nice and very helpful and an amazing worker and very motivated and her energy was amazing and I believe she should be a counselor

This was the only counseling center that called me back, the person that was taking the calls was every polite and respectful was was good at her job

HCC has the best staff and quality care for those seeking help. They are very personable and caring. They take the time to listen and address the issues without judgment. The environment is very soothing and safe while at the same time very professional. I believe Spokane is blessed to have a place for its community to go. I was in a downward spiral within myself and everything in my life, but the days I have had speaking with Vanessa at HCC have brought some positive clarity to myself and my thoughts. The communication with her has helped me with self value and not being afraid of every day life because of my issues. I feel better today than I did a week ago. Dr. Barbara Folden has been absolutely wonderful! She was able to get me in right away through my work EAP program and has consistently been an excellent support after I transitioned from EAP to insurance.

I tired so many counseling centers and none had the same amount of care that this one person that was taking calls had In her finger, she actually returned my calls and was extremely safisticated and sweet to me

This was the most horrible experience I ever had dealing with a counselor. If anyone goes, avoid the student intern Vanessa like the plague. Vanessa is uneducated and not fit to be a counselor, my PTSD symptoms got worse after seeing her.

The Doctor and Counselors are positive and encouraging. They work late hours and right up until Hollidays to meet the needs of individuals.

Doctor Heather Brown is an angel sent from above! She not only can work with your primary care provider but often gives advice that is just beyond helpful and has changed my life outlook completely. She stayed late to see me often, and was open with me bringing in people from my life to have dual sessions at no extra cost.

Dont call the office manager I was a client and the counselor Ashley was nice I have ptsd and anti anxiety disorder and the office manager Jennifer says she has all my case files so she knows and she starts raising her voice saying the 3 no shows are completely my fault even tho two of them the counsler canceled so she said that I have to pay 255 dollars out of pocket to continue services they dont treat you like patients they treat you like scum I will never refer anyone to them at all 😒

Horrible experience. The counselors are just there for a paycheck and don’t care about the well being of their patients. So unprofessional. Don’t waste your time. Counseling can be a tough thing and I already expressed issues I had with counselors in past abandoning and healthy counseling gave me yet another bad experience.

Extremely disappointing experience. Family spent over a year there never receiving any real tools or strategies to deal with issues.Felt judged often and as if we were a burden. Office is extremely disorganized switching providers and staff multiple times on us. The prescribing nurse for medications is a flake who missed completely two appointments and seemed high on her own supply when we did see her. Providers are always over booked or on vacation.

Horrible customer service and they are supposed to people who are there for you through tough times. So disappointed in this.places behavior
