Made me pay for my lab draw before billing and said they checked insurance for what we owed. After I got home I called my insurance they said we were fully covered and we now need to send the receipt to get reimbursed!
I don’t know why this place has gotten such bad feedback. I’ve gone here numerous times over several years now and have always had a great experience. Pretty sure I’ve even had to take one of my kids in. The workers have always been kind. I just had to go in today and love the new online appt option! I was able to check in ahead and not even use their kiosk once there. I snagged a 8:30 slot 45 minutes before and was able to check in on my phone as I walked in and hardly sat down before being called. The gal taking my blood was so quick. I’ve had her multiple times before and she’s always been very kind. Even with giving a urine sample I was in and out within 15 minutes! I definitely attribute this to the fact that it was first thing and I got my appt made ahead.
The lab tech at this location is always friendly and is extremely skilled. I never feel a thing when she inserts the needle to draw blood. Also, I usually dont have to wait very long but that could be because I go first thing in the morning. At any rate, Ive never had a bad experience at this location.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Drew blood from 2 week old daughter, then they LOST IT. Almost 2 weeks later, they still dont know if they have it or whether it got thawed out and is untestable when it was sent to Seattle Childrens (Ive been told its because we were dumb to do it on a Friday and it got left out and thawed, and Ive also been told that it was probably only labeled as room temp but is actually in a freezer somewhere). Good thing my daughter isnt super sick and it was more of a double-check. Lab techs were fine, but avoid this system at all costs, it will make you CRAZY!
They drawn my daughters blood and didnt wear gloves what the hell
They failed to save a recurring order, so I had to have it faxed over again. If they were not blocks away from my house, I would use another location. No, they are not in a hurry to help people. Ive waited 30 minutes. This time I was there at opening, so I wouldnt have to wait. Ill have to wait.
So slow and don’t seem to be in a hurry to help people.
