Just recently went to master cuta with my boyfriend so he could get a hair cut. The staff was very friendly and the cost was very easy on the wallet. And what a nice bonus to have my man looking fresh. I recommend master cuts for anyone who visits the mall.

Great haircut, exactly what I was looking for and they let me know I can come back within the week if I want to adjust it for free. Past two years this place has provided me with quality small talk and results.

Kayla is amazing, and did my hair perfectly. I wanted a spring color refresh and it came out truly beautiful. She is my hair girl, keeps it fun!All the ladies here are sweet and if you need a trusted place to get your hair done this is the place to be. I am picky, and i enjoy this team.

They had star trek Voyager on the tv with the closed captions on and I watched for a bit from a bench outside their store. Never been inside but it saved my sanity by helping me detach and refocus, so 5 stars for that!

I went in for a mens haircut and the person cutting my hair was no problem at all. In fact, he was helpful in providing me great tips on how I can take better care of my hair. The problem was near the end of the haircut itself. After I accepted to have my head shampood near the end of the cut, we sat back down and checked the end to see if I liked what I saw. I then asked if he could, ya know, dry my hair since we just did that whole thing and he said Oh, I didnt want to bring it up because it costs ~$6. ... to use the blow dryer. I thought he was joking.. He wasnt. Of course, I said no, because you like.. cant provide heated air for.. 30 seconds unless it costs $6? Thats either poor customer service or a problem with their business model. Either way, not super happy about it.The day after, I noticed part of my hair is not blended properly and uneven.. I would have noticed these problems had he blow dried my hair..

Charged $24 for a Clean Cut package even though I received a dry cut that took ~10 minutes. Didn’t realize the error until I checked my receipt but disappointed the staff chose to over charge me anyway.

Worst haircut I ever had in my entire life not someone dude with blue hair. Had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. I will NEVER EVER go back!

I have been going to Shari for almost a year now and she is amazing! I have an asymmetrical Aline, not an easy haircut, but she NAILED IT! She really listens to you about what you want and goes above and beyond. She also does great coloring too! I wont go anywhere else!

I went in to get my hair lightened. I ended up with orange hair and a destroyed shirt. It took 4 washings to get the dye out. Now my towel is ruined. Im not happy to say the least. They better refund my money so I can get it fixed by someone that knows what there doing.

We went to Regis, the usual place i go to just for a couple of haircuts and since they were booked they suggested we try master cuts, their sister salon. I thought, ok, I used to go there before, years ago, this should be fine. It most definitely was not. I went first, I showed the guy a picture of what I wanted, and he told me I had the same thing already when i defiantly did not. He then asked me what I liked about the picture and I told him everything, I liked how she had layers in her hair, I liked how her bangs went off to the side, He then said that I needed a trim so that’s literally what he did he just trimmed off the split ends which was fine but then he didn’t add layers or anything and I was kind of frustrated and I ended up getting charged $40 in the end Which was for a wash and blow dry as well I didn’t get it styled or anything so I felt the price is a little high. For just a trim. My husband was next and we showed the girl a picture of what we wanted his hair to look like he told her that he wanted to fade it with a hard part and just asked for the part to not be so big she said she could do it and just basically ended up shaving his head and calling it good. His wasn’t too expensive but in the end we paid $61 for both haircuts. We ended up having to go to great clips to get fixed up and they did a wonderful job .

The two gals that work the evening shift Kristen and Danielle are very pleasant and friendly care about their customers. Very knowledgable in what they were doing and not to mention cute. Great hair cuts. Keep up the good work ladies and will see you soon ;-)

Even from bad services and experiences I never gave a bad review before, but I have to say my haircut is HORRIBLE. I made an appointment, but waited for 20 minutes and the haircut looks absolutely terrible. I had long hair all the way down my waist, but I’m going to have to cut it super short to my chin to fix this ugly looking mess. I have been to many places and this is the worse one yet. I HIGHLY do NOT reccomend this place to anyone. A man with long beard and blue hair did this to my hair.

I got my one year old sons hair cut here (his first hair cut!) & after the lady at jcpennys was extremely rude & obvious about not wanting to cut a childs hair, we went to master cuts & the ypung lady was such a sweetheart! Obviously not the easiest hair cut, but was so sweet. Good prices. Recommend!

UPDATE: Jonathan, regional manager, refunded my money after I reached out via their website.ORIGINAL: I took my son here 2 weeks ago to get his hair cut. Standard short-hair male haircut. The lady who cut it did a terrible job, and was less-than pleasant. When she got done, I asked her to tidy up a few spots that looked choppy and long. She would make one tiny adjustment, which did nothing to improve the the haircut, and she seemed really annoyed that I was even asking, so I paid and left. I thought I would give it a few days to see if it kind of grew into itself, and it didnt. I havent had a day off until today, so I called today to let them know it looked really terrible, and they said I could come in and have it fixed. A different hair cutter fixed it and it looks much better. When we got done, she said I would just need to sign something and I would be good to go. She went to the counter and had a hard time finding what she needed. The other hair cutter, the one that gave him a poor cut, came over and said that I would need to pay full price, as it was considered a new cut since it was over 7 days. BAD BAD customer service. I will never go back there. I certainly wouldnt have gone back today if I knew I was going to have to pay for the cut, just to fix the terrible job she did two weeks ago. My sons hair grows very slowly. I only need to get it cut once every couple of months. Certainly not once every two weeks.

This place ROCKS! 🎸 I think I found my hair goddess here. I came from College Station, Texas....and I have never found a better hair stylist then I found here. I will only get my hair cut here and only here.

For me personally, it’s quite difficult to find an ideal hairdresser: someone that listens, follows your directions, is personal, is friendly, is empathetic to your needs, is kind and so on... Here at Mastercuts in the Northtown Mall, that ideal hairdresser is Katie J. She is all of the above and much more. She goes above and beyond to make sure your ideas are heard and her personality is hard to find! She is a rare gift. I have never found someone like that can do my hair as perfectly and accurately as she can. You MUST go see her if you’re in need of that perfect hair cut/color you’ve always dreamed of.

Awful place, my girlfriend went to get her haircut and scheduled a dye and bleach, they said they could do it, talked over what she wanted so she made an appointment. She made it a month ahead and called the day before the appointment and said they LOST her appointment, she had to reschedule of course.Then she went it the day she scheduled it and the girl she scheduled with and told her that she could do her hair, wouldnt do it when she got there. She suggested someone else that had some expirence so my girlfriend spoke with her and that lady told her she couldnt do it either, and basically she couldnt do anything to her hair when it comes to solid colors. Long story short my girlfriend went to her PROFESSIONAL hairstylist and did an amazing job. I would definitely not suggest MasterCuts, poor looking women with poor expirence.

My wife went to mastercuts northtown and was overcharged about $50. She found out in a follow up visit. The management refused to refund the funds that were obtained by cheating and only offered a 20 percent discount. We will never do business with them in the future.

Went in to get highlights yesterday, vanilla highlights and caramel lowlights, showed picture of what I wanted. After she finished I left not sure of the color thought maybe it was me not used to it but this morning my hair is brassy and I realize that a highlight job turned into a full coloring. My hair is very blonde and with the caramel lowlights it makes my hair brassy. I do not have time to go back to Spokane because I live in Moscow and now I do not have money to fix it, I dont want to even leave the house this morning.

Expensive and not always the best sevice but good cuts

I used to have Kayla cut my hair here and she was great, but apparently shes gone elsewhere. The lady who cut my hair last time said virtually nothing to me. She was cold and came off as being rude. It looked like she didnt want to be there and possibly just went through a bad break up. Anways my hair turned out ok thankfully. My boyfriend went to get his haircut there and told me about a bad experience about how some lady refused to cut his hair the way he wanted it and it ended up looking terrible. He described her the same way I did so it must have been the same lady. I guess she always acts like that. Not a good industry to work in if you dont like people, if you ask me!! Wont be back.

I used to only go here when denise was the manager. She rocked and her crew rocked now that she has moved on the styleists hair cuts in my opinion are not acceptable some of them still do a really good job but for the most part unsatisfactory. And never seem to have enough employees either may as well go ro great clips where there all about numbers and times it takes to do cuts. Gona have to find new company with beter availability and arent about the numbers

I have been going to master cuts for 13yrs and I love the hair cuts they all do wonderful work all the employees are wonderful if u give respect thats what you ! However Randy does my hair she is the best I sit down she goes to work and does just what I ask perfectly! !!

Not enough words to explain the awful color and cut! Not just once, but went back to get it fixed... and the second time was horribly worse than the first time!!! The second time did not even wash all of the dye out of my hair nor did they take the time to wash it off of my skin. Beware!!!

Horrible place to go.I took my son there, the store manager assistant cut my son s hair. After finished cutting, I found out there is a spot almost bald. Took my son back to store, dont even get a sorry work from this store manager assistant... .....

Moved to Spokane area from the Seattle area and was inquiring about a employee that also made the move here and looking for a friendly face to cut my wife, 2 children and my hair and was treated very rudely over the phone and then hung up on while I was asking some questions...called back to complain to a manager about their customer service and they did not even answer the next 3 times..so I will make sure that on every blog, every review online (yelp,google,etc..) that everyone in the Spokane area will know how they treat their customers and if a owner reads this or a manger you should know you lost out on 4 potential clients and you should not have employees answer your phones if they do not have good customer service skills, Being a retail manager myself you should know how much good customer service plays an important role in your business ...it makes your business or breaks your business

Awful! The guy that works there (with the beard) cut my 5yr old hair and ruined it! On top of that he was rude to my son. If you cant handle kids, dont cut their hair! Will never go back!
