Howes has worked on 3 of our vehicles over the years. We have always gotten the straight info and the results have always been positive and at a fair price.

Had our truck towed over to Howes yesterday for a diagnostic check. Lee quickly found the problem, apparently it was something simple. He fixed it and had us back on the road before 5pm, only charged us the diagnostic fee. Honest employees, fair prices, I recommend Howes to anyone.

Wonderful service from Patty, Lee and the staff at Howes! I had my car towed to them because a friend recommended them when I lost the power steering in my suv. They did the work fast, their prices were great an I even had enough time for them to do an oil change after the repair. As if that wasnt enough, I was having a hard time arranging a ride to get my car during business hours so they arranged how I could get my car after hours. He has worked on a variety of trucks weve owned, newer Toyotas, and even a fuel injected Corvette. Patty has always been very courteous and efficient with our appointments and able to schedule our work to be done in a timely manner.

Extremely well priced and fair. The mechanics were professional and friendly!! Genuine customer service is getting harder to find these days but you will find it at Howes. I will bring my truck there again! I only went in for some basic adjustments to my carburetor and the mechanic ended up doing a full diagnosis fixed and replaced a few things for the fair price that was already quoted!! I have taken my car to Howes twice. They have always been honest, fair, and reasonably priced. It is rare to find a mechanic that does not try to take advantage and unfairly raise the price or tell me something is wrong with my car when it isnt. I was just about to call and leave a message to see if I could drop my car off and saw that I could give a review. I wont trust my only car to anyone but Howes Auto Services, and I am on a limited income, and need this car to continue to run well.Editing. I have now taken my car to Mr. Howe 5 times. When I had my tires rotated (free) at the dealer, the last 3 times they told me I needed services that were really expensive. Went to Howes, and he told me I only needed rear brakes, and his fee was so much less. A year later he said it was time to do the front brakes. Still less expensive than the other guy.

I have finally found an honest, reliable mechanic who found the problem with our Jeep Grand Cherokee that I never would have guessed was the problem. I thought it was the computer, but it turned out to be two shorted wires. The other mechanics we have used would have charged for the entire computer. We are bringing the Jeep back for a scheduled brake job. I feel good knowing Lee will do a great job at a fair price.

Awesome people and quality work

Owner ruined my engine by improperly breaking it in. Did not stand by his work and his wife/answering service is horrible to deal with when your trying to get their wrong righted. He could not or did not diagnose a friends car multiple times. Neglected problems on my vehicle when the previous owner owned it. I fixed or paid for those repairs at some point also. He lied in court as well as blame his wife who was not there. Paying him 400$ for a job he did not do properly, cost me 4000$. Dont learn the hard way like I did. They owners wife is now Posting pictures of my truck lisence plate and full name on their buisness facebook. They have also gone to their next door neighbors shop, who is one of my best and called my family and I losers. They are horrible people and horrible mechanics pure and simple.

I called looking for a quote and asked if she could leave me a message because Im calling around for prices, she said she would not leave a message if Im having her look up a quote. Very rude. Might have gotten our business. Now we wont know.
