You call for a ride and they cant help,wasted call

To start my experience with your company, my pickup driver told me someone had the the Nissan so he used his car.(I saw where another person said they were told the same thing.)Then the evening before I was scheduled to leave I got a text message saying the my ride had been canceled... Panic time, I was scheduled to fly out at 6am. A short time later, I got another message saying The driver was ON THE WAY. WHAT at 5:04pm? I tried calling your business several times that night, and only heard a message saying all rides were cancelled and the next available was for 6am. My flight was leaving at 6am.Then the next morning when I was the car going to the airport, I got a text telling me he was on the way and then a phone call a few mins. later. I explained what happened and I was already on the way to the airport. He said OK. Thank goodness I found another ride for an earlier time because by the time I made it through security and to my gate, I had 10mins to spare.I called your business about a refund for the morning trip that didnt happened and explained to the person who ans. your phone. I was told it would go to accounting and someone would get in touch with me.I havent heard from anyone and its been 3 weeks. I know holidays were here but your business was open. ( I also saw where you didnt want to return a refund to another customer)I want my refund so please have someone call me. So far this is the worst service Ive ever had AND you apparently dont want to give me refund. You have my number.Rhonda S.

I am from Virginia, so when visiting South Carolina I needed reliable transportation and knowledgeable people to drive me around and make sure I got to my destinations on time. Not only were the drivers pleasant and professional but they also recommended some nice places to visit since I was from out of town. They were very inexpensive and arrived on time. I highly recommend Light Transportation for all of your travel needs.

Terrible service! I paid in advance to schedule a ride. Had to cancel due to a change of plans and I did not get a refund. I tried calling them several times and they didnt answer the phone.

Highly recommended!!!!!! At first, I was a little apprehensive about booking a ride for my 11 year old. When I met Landon, he assured me that my son would be safe. I decided to give the company a try to pick up for his afterschool activity. I requested someone to text me the drivers name and the car that was picking him up. THEY DID. The driver who name is Robin was wonderful. She called that morning to confirm. She also called to make sure where the designated pick up was. I appreciated her concern and pleasant customer service. My son was picked up on time AND home in a timely manner. I will be booking with them again!!!! Thank you Light Transportation for a great experience.

I have used Light Transportation to pick guests up from my office to take them to appointments when I am to busy to step out during their visit. Very professional service. They have sent the same gentleman Sam to pick up one guest and our guest gave rave reviews about how nice and professional Sam was. Using this service every single time we have a need. I had a wonderful experience using Light Transportation Co. I needed to be picked up from the airport after my holiday travels. Once I booked my ride using the app, the driver arrived promptly. He was very courteous and helped put my bags in the trunk. The car was nice and clean and comfortable. Used 2 days in a row for same trip. First time was $16, second was $35. Driver was 30mins+ late first day, about 15 the second. Neither day did they arrive in the car texted. Driver drove well. Operator seemed to have an attitude about the mention of the price difference.

I needed to get some where on one of the coldest morning in months. My battery was dead,so it had to be towed toethe shop. I called Light, and they showed up within 20 minutes. Very professional driver and auto. I also called them for the return trip. Again a very professional driver and auto. Will certainly use them again,if needed and will recommend them to my friends. Very impressed..

I used Light transportation to go to an event in Greenville with a girlfriend of mine. We felt like VIP as of it were our very own private limousine service. We were dropped off and picked up in a timely manner and the service was exceptional! We would do it all again!Well worth it and the service was top notch!Feeling safe and respected is priceless!

My experience was very very nice! Coming from the north and having multiple fails of taxi service down in SC, they came through with excellent service! Got my puppy to the vet and back within an hour. Gotta love it.

I rode with them a few nights ago after no other companies answered and man am I glad they didnt .!! This is the best cab service Ive ever ridden with . Julius was my driver . He was respectful, helpful, had pleasant conversation, and very well dressed . The car they sent was very nice . So nice in fact, it took him to call out to me before I realized it was a cab . Prices are GREAT compared to other companies . I almost felt as though I was being driven by a luxury car service . The whole experience was enjoyable and I highly recommend them . Dont know why I havent used them before now .!

No Taxis, dont hardly answer the phone

Needed a ride the next morning to the Amtrak station, train was leaving at 4:14 amAsked for 3 am pickup. They said 3am, Confirmation text said 3:55.Called them back, they said no problem, theyd be there.No one came by 3:20, had to call someone else. When I called them they could not tell me who or when I would be picked up.Driver called at 4:00 to say hed be another 27 minutes. He still had 3:55 pickup time. We were already at the train station by then.Their problem was due to the change to daylight savings time this morning, but the reason I talked to them on the phone was precisely for that reason. I warned to be sure they were catching the hour difference. They did not. They did text an apology around 6:30.

Told them i had to be at my destination at 1:30 and it was important. Even scheduled an early pick up. Driver did not arrive until 1:33. It was pointless at this point as i was already late to my interview. Never again will i go through this company.

If I could rate 0 Stars for this supposedly taxi service, I would. After our transmission failed, and we were 3 hours from home, we had to call a taxi and clearly stated that we needed them as soon as possible.. being that our vehicle broke down and we had three young children with us in 90 degree weather. The lady that answered the phone originally said it would take their driver no longer than 45 minutes. About fifty minutes later, my husband had to repeatedly call after they didnt answer the phone several times. Finally, after they did answer the phone, the lady then stated that it would be another 45 minutes to an hour. Altogether, we waited over 2 and 1/2 hours for our driver to arrive!! The driver claimed that he had the wrong address. My husband confirmed the correct address, so obviously the company must have given the driver the wrong address... Supposedly. He showed up in a different vehicle that they originally said we were going to be picked up in, and our three children whom are all in car seats barely fit in the car with my husband and I. The driver was nice but honestly he was not a very good driver. The car swerved from side to side constantly while driving on the interstate which cause my three-year-old son to get sick. Barely any of it got on the floorboard of the taxi, but I cleaned up majority of the mess with bleach wipes. As I was cleaning, the driver insisted on cleaning the rest of it himself. Which all that was left, was a tiny amount on the floorboard. I said no it is my responsibility, and I was more than willing to clean it, but he was obviously in a hurry. We paid $78 to go less than 30 minutes away to Enterprise... And as I said before waited 2 and a half hours, when there office was within 10 miles from us. It wasnt until 5 hours after our ride that we received a phone call from another employee at light Transportation, saying that we owe a $50 clean-up fee. After being late and after I wanted to clean the small spot that was left in the car, I was shocked that they had the indecency to ask for a $50 clean up fee! After all the hassle and waiting we had to do and the stress of getting to Enterprise before they close, you would think that they would offer to comp for inconvience, but no. I would absolutely not recommend this place at all, not even to my worst enemy!!

Everyone would be better off calling Uber or lyft. And also if you need a job and seeking employment don’t work for this full. He is so self absorbed and doesn’t pay you hardly ever. Have to beg to get paid. This isn’t your typical job. You’d be better off with a 12 hr shift at bmw because after your shift you got to spend 2 to 3 more hours doing his dirty work so HE gets paid. If my review don’t explain itself you can always ask your local driver if they pick you up about “light transportation” or call me! And he also takes advantage of old retired veteransThanks google!

Only if your desperate. I had the same driver going and coming back and both times she tried to cheat me out of the change she owes me. Her name is Robin so just make sure you have the exact amount of pay.

Prices are great compared to other Uber rides/taxi. But the time it takes for them to pick you up from your destination is ENTIRELY too long. I waited nearly an hour and a half before my driver got to me. And when I called the office to check on my driver They werent even able to contact them. Worst service ever!!

Worst service ever!!!! Was scheduled to be picked up at 12:30 and they didn’t show up till 12:55!!! Had to be a rental car place at 1!!! Deff will not go through them again. Asked to talk to a manager and they said no one was available and didn’t even seem to care they were late. And didn’t offer a refund or anything. WORST SERVICE EVER!! Do not trust they will be on time might want to schedule for an hour before you have to be somewhere!

Got a text 20 minutes AFTER the driver was supposed to arrive saying our ride was cancelled. Would not recommend.

Worst experience ever! Tried two different times to get a ride with this service, card was charged both times and the ride never happened and still have not received my refund. The owner Landon NEVER returns your calls, been calling for two weeks now with no kind of response what so ever. DONT USE THIS SERVICE, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF IF THEY CAN, AND DO NOT LET THEM CHARGE YOUR CARD PAY WITH CASH!!!

This place is a scam and only wants to steal your money. I tried to get a ride from gaffney to spartanburg and I asked for all the detail to make sure everything was paid for properly. Minutes after placing my order they added a $18 fee for absolutely no reason. The person I talked too had no information about it and knew nothing and the manager or boss was nowhere to be found. After simply trying to get a refund they kept $8 dollars as a transfer fee which is outrageous considering the fact that it wasnt my fault they wanted to add fees for no reason. I will never use this service again and will not let anyone get scammed like I did. Such a terrible business to steal from people from miss information due to their lack of providing info.

The next to the last ride my wife got with your company she was treated very unprofessionally. The first one was a black guy, maybe in his late or early 20s. First off when he arrived he wasnt in the car that was on the website and when i asked why wasnt he in the car that was on the website and his response was i had to replace it yesterday. So that made me feel very uncomfortable.He didnt have no idea where to take me, it was like he couldnt read GPS, he ran a stop sign and we about got hit and to end it all he was driving on the wrong side of the road constantly and coming to a complete stop everytime a car approached us. I was a nervous disaster by the time i got back home. I already have high anxiety and he just made it worse. I would greatly appreciate it if i could be reimbursed of my money for that ride. The guys name was Samuel Davidson. The date and time was July 28th @ 9:34pm.

The driver was very courteous, and the price was great. It took him a little bit longer to get to me than expected, but I would use this service again.

I booked TWO pick-ups for my boss for his travel to Spartansburg. The first pick-up was to be at 11:45pm, but they did not arrive until 12:30am, leaving my boss to wait for a ride from the airport at midnight. I called to speak with the company to ENSURE pick-up would be on time for his return trip to the airport (pick up scheduled for 2:30pm). I was ASSURED the driver would be on time, that a driver was assigned as of 12:30pm and he had the correct address. OF COURSE he doesnt show up, and after about 15 calls to the company, finally someone picks up and says the driver is having trouble with his GPS and should arrive to pick my boss up in 10 minutes, so by 2:50pm, making him EXTREMELY LATE for his return flight. ABSOLUTELY a HORRIBLE experience, TERRIBLE customer service, completely unapologetic about this happening TWICE to my boss and completely unconcerned with the fact that my boss could very well miss his flight. DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY if you want your car to show up on time. Or, if youre feeling daring, book them for an HOUR before you actually need them to pick you up. Youre better off with Uber - considering this is a bunch of guys driving their personal cars just like Uber, at least with Uber you have a better chance of actually getting where you need to go ON TIME.
